Superb authentic tasty Filipino food! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff – really nice chef and owner. Highly recommend, the food was absolutely spot-on! Will definitely be going back :)

Love the authenticity of filipino Cuisine in this restaurant . I enjoyed the "feel at home " ambience . Josh and Tania are very attentive and our food was served with good portion too .

Nice laid back vibe here. The upstairs room sounded noisy (it was a large group) so I was glad we weren't up there.. i enjoyed the main courses : sour tamarind soup w/ pork belly, and beef in peanut sauce. Three stars because the squid starter was overcooked, as was the rice; in that way it gets after it's been at the bottom of a large rice warmer for too long.

A nice filipino Restaurant in Brighton. Ambiance and design looks unique and interesting. The food was also great and I enjoyed every bite of it. This is a family owned restaurant and got the chance to have a little chat with them. They were kind, welcoming and accommodating. Definitely a must try if you fancy filipino food. 💜

What a great find! My eldest son is now in the Philippines so we thought send him off with a flavour of things to come. Six of us fed and watered well from a menu we had to explore as none of us really knew any of the dishes. A proper treat of authentic (as close as you can, get Filipinos feed their pigs differently :-) apparently) just excellent. Well worth it and good value. Thanks Bruha

We visited here last a Thursday and we had truly Amazing food, experienced friendly knowledgeable service with a lovely atmosphere. Genuinely the best dining experience I’ve had in Brighton for a very long time and looking forward to go back and try everything else! We had the mango cocktail and the tequila one and both were excellent as well. We had the following and recommend all! My favourite Filipino restaurant in the UK. My girlfriend felt like she was home, and I discovered even more amazing Pinoy dishes. The nilasing na hipon with that vinegar is simply devine. The pares also was so tender, it melted in my mouth. Salamat po!

I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone - the food was incredible, the staff were personable and easy to interact with and the atmosphere was great. The pork belly was some of the best I've ever tasted - the Pork Abodo practically melted in your mouth - and the honey garlic calamansi wings were both dripping in honey & crispy. Portion sizes are large, flavours are phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. We booked a table for 21:00 (1hr before the restaurant closes) and we were happily accommodated for all 3 courses right up until almost 1 and a half hours past close - your milage may vary on this but we felt very well looked after! As mentioned the service was great, just the right amount of time between each course and it was easy to chat with the staff. That was some of the best food I've ever tasted, I'll definitely be coming back. (one thing to mention is their menu says that they can't accommodate any allergies)

Super friendly staff and the food and drinks are delicious with generous portions. The atmosphere is very cosy - the 4 stars is a completely personal preference because I prefer a bit more light when I eat a meal, however it makes an excellent place to relax with drinks. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic food and cocktails, and such a warm, friendly welcome. Beautifully decorated with quirky and really thorough design accents throughout. Would thoroughly recommend this place, it’s a tiny hidden gem. We’ll definitely be returning when we’re next in Brighton 👌

Bruha had a dark interior as we went in and up the stairs. The waiter was very attentive and helpful when we were choosing our food. We chose Mango smoothie, buko pandan and ube smoothie which were thick and delicious but I suggest not to have these drinks until after you’ve had the meal as you get full up. For starters, the spring rolls, spare ribs and tokwat baboy were delish. The main we chose were varied - kare kare was full of flavour, barbecue pork was very good; Sisig with egg is yum; dinuguan had chunky meat which is so tender and tasty but the Pancit bihon with pork was watery and on the salty side. For our dessert, we had the turon which was exquisite with banana and ube jam oozing while you bite into it- that’s perfection ! Ube yema cake was divine! The portions are so generous so the four of us shared all the food! It was very nice to experience Filipino food without tinkering much from the original flavour. It was quite pricey but it’s all worth it. Highly recommended! Bruha needs to have a contact number and email for customers to contact them because we only made a booking via messenger and or Instagram. Reply to our booking was quite slow. Overall the food and service at Bruha are great !

Amazing restaurant!! Options for vegetarians, great ambiance and the people are so nice! The mangga salad was very soft and it's such a smart combination I loved it! The spotify playlist was also really cool (but I can't find it! if you could share it maybe...:)).

Need to improve the taste of food. Had pancit and there is too much pepper and also sour. The sisig mushroom and tofu , i think need to tone down the sourness as it overwhelmed the food. Probably better to seperate lemon and let the customer squeeze it to their food . Husband had lechon kawali and it is bland. Milkshake ube pandan is great.

A very good Filipino food experience, unexpected for Brighton! I recommend pairing with the mango salad! Everything was very good, a little toward the British tastebud but still good.

Visited here because my daughters partner, who is originally from the Philippines, was very excited to find a Filipino restaurant. Short menu but with the best known dishes on offer like Adobo. As I understand it generally it’s a meat focused cuisine but actually I thought the best dish was the mushroom and tofu sisig. Desserts were limited but very nice too. Could not fault the service either. Will definitely be taking friends here.

As a filipino I'm sad to say i did not enjoy the food. The food was over cooked and dry. I think it was more a remix than filipino. The mango daiquiri was nice. Price was rather expensive but i guess because of the location. I might give it a go again but maybe when theres a different menu.

We tried the sisig and sinigang and i love it! This is probably the most authentic sisig and sinigang i tasted in the UK (i tried plenty in London). They made mine without mayo as i requested and glad they accommodated it. I would personally prefer the sisig meat to be minced more but that's just picking on it really. Their sisig is spot on especially with the egg! The sinigang tastes like home, the broth is sour just how i like it. I think one order's portion is good enough for two people (both sinigang and sisig). My friends who were new to Filipino cuisine loved everything we ate. The servers were absolutely nice and friendly. We were seated at the 2F of the building so it did take some time for some little requests. I will be back to try their other dishes and cocktails for sure! Hopefully they have a reservation system in place then. We just walked in and lucky to get the last available table.

Fantastic food, very authentic filipino stuff and an interesting backstory behind the restaurant. They were very nice about a delay behind our food and gave us some extra for our troubles, staff are super friendly, overall amazing experience

Everything else was good apart from the service which take about an hour and half to serve without an updates from them. Pancit a bit watery/oily. As you can see on the photos, looks like it was uncooked from the bottom of the casserole. I’m not trying to discourage the customer but hoping this will have some improvement and hopefully this will never happen again.

They claim to open at 11 am, we arrived at 1 pm and they were already closed. They were apparently “sold out” because they have ran out of pork. And allegedly their menu is pork-centric. Loads of other groups who travelled from afar have come only to be shooed away just like us. We drove 2 hours for nothing. They don’t even have a website where you can book a table. Who runs out of stock for the WHOLE menu?! This needs reviewing and maybe even some compensation for the wasted petrol/commute money!

This Filipino eatery is fantastic. We were delighted to see a Filipino eatery for the first time. They are quite accommodating, the owners. The environment is nice and cosy. For those looking for Filipino food, this place is a true feast with large amounts. Had the dinuguan, ube turon and tapsilog #bamboochair cheers guys, see yah next time :)

Great filipino food. Came here 4x in a year. I'm still coming back for sure. The only thing is that no one replies for when you try and book for a table in their ig and fb. 😅 Also, there is no contact number. Just go there and hope you will be seated or hope that they are really open on that day. I think, though, that they always update their opening times, and when they are closed on google website, in that case, times are reliable. 🥰

The food doesn't taste all that. For us it seems like it's not cook freshly tasted it's been reheated. We had a squid as a starter and it tasted rubbery, the interior looks dingy and grabby. A service charge is added to the bill and service is slow, had to prompt for our dessert as no one came to our table to check . We choose the place as the website menu looks good and appealing but in reality the menu that they have on site is very limited. It's our first time to be here and would be our last. Not recommended

Down in Brighton for a few days to see The Pretenders and family. Thursday night looking for some food before the gig, spotted Bruha on the web. I've never had Filipino food, but liked the look of the place and decided to give it a try and are we glad we did! Met with a warm welcome and big smiles from the staff downstairs, the smell of incense in the air, we were taken to the first floor. (the tables are on the first and second floors). The only spare table was huge, which would be great for larger groups, but was fantastic for us too, to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the decor. The server was seemed so happy to just be there, we couldn't help but smile. He made us feel instantly like we'd chosen the right place to eat. Drinks served, we looked at the menu. I love menus that aren't pages and pages long and we were met with a choice of about 5 starters and 10 mains. I can't remember the names of the dishes, but we shared calamari to start, which was tender and the dip was so fresh and tasty. For mains,my partner had beef and I had deep fried belly pork, both served with rice and both absolutely delicious. There was so much meat on both plates; seriously excellent value for money. 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 wines and 2 beers for £77 including gratuity and even if it wasn't included, I'd have willingly paid. The server never stopped all night, was friendly, happy and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I'm not going to review twice, but we returne this evening, because we enjoyed our first visit so much. Battered prawns to start this time. My partner had a different main dish, but I had to have another crispy belly pork and we weren't disappointed at all Just as tasty, piping hot and the same great service. This time we managed to share a dessert, yam spring rolls with ice cream. Delicious!! Starter, 2 mains, 2 beers, 2 gins, 1 dessert and service for £85 This place has character, charm, ambience, great staff and absolutely fantastic food. I know we had a few alcoholic drinks, so to give you an idea, it's about £12-£15 for a main course and they're plenty on your plate. If you're in Brighton or Hove, give it a try, support independent businesses and go home contented!

Their food is amazing particularly the Sisig. It seemed as though I was back in the Philippines. The staff is extremely responsive and welcoming. Try this eatery, it's worth it. It was a wonderful experience.

I am half Filipino and so happy that there was somewhere in Brighton. The food here was incredible and authentic. The Vegan options meant that my partner could try the food and the sisig was amazing. The Adobo wings were also great!
