Rubbish restaurant in London. I come from Berkshire to try during opening hour 11am. I am arrived at 11:30am but they say chef not ready and needs more 1 hour. So I come back at 12:30 and waiting 20 mins until 12:50 and still not open. Finally, I forgive and go another restaurant have lunch. This is terrible and disappointing😞. No another chance....Rubbish!

Don’t go there if you have any disabled person in the family or a child. In the middle of eating we were told by Mr Ali the manager that you are taking a lot of space you need to move. Had to move with my disabled mom. After that she did not manage to eat because mentally startled and had been seated too uncomfortably. Went to the manager requesting that this kind of behaviour was not good customer service only to be threatened by mr Ali and one other lady staff that complain if you want we don’t care. You took too much space. We were a family of 8 took place for 10 people. The lady shouted go do whatever you want we serve thousands of customers if 1 complaints it doesn’t matter. I was astonished. Went there to eat with family came back home with trauma and threats. Not sure what to say. But I want to seek attention of authorities is this how you serve customers? I know you will continue getting customers but you should be kind and gentle towards families. A business should be run with respect for the customers. Can not rate food because did not manage to eat much after the incident.

This is a lovely local Korean restaurant that does some truly amazing food! the Korean Fried Chicken is a big standout. Myself and my partner come here quite a lot. My only criticism is that the service is very slow and staff are very distracted by the amount of delivery drivers are coming through for online takeaway orders which takes away from the whole experience!

The Eastern Eye Balti House in Brick Lane, London, is well-regarded for its traditional Indian and Bangladeshi dishes, consistently earning high praise from visitors. Known for its authentic menu featuring dishes like chicken balti, lamb bhuna, and various tandoori options, it has received commendations for both flavor and authenticity. Many reviews highlight the warm, welcoming atmosphere, along with the attentive service, making it a popular choice, especially during weekends when reservations are often recommended.

I was exploring my tastecard options and found this restaurant and thought I’d give it a go, as I am a fan of Bangladeshi food, but it was a shambles. I showed them my tastecard discount, but they said they couldn’t verify it (?) they then said they’d provide the 50% discount anyway, and so I ordered a meal which was around £32 total. After I finished my meal, they said the bill was too low for the discount to be valid (there was no guidance of any minimum price on the discount). That’s fine, what’s next? I pay the bill and leave the restaurant and moments later I see that the bill is £40 on the receipt!

We have been going to Noodle Street for many years as a family. We haven’t been there for around 2 months and we visited yesterday and sadly will never be visiting again! It seems that the staff that used to work there have changed. We had a very rude lady who served us, not only was she speaking to us like idiots when we tried to order the same things we have ordered there for the past 10 years, but she also refused to let us swap our children’s chicken noodle soup for Char Su noodle soup (something we have always been able to do in the past) which meant our Children didn’t eat the soup and was a complete waste of money. Considering we were ALWAYS treated as loyal customers by the previous staff members, greeting us kindly and we always left generous tips…this was the first time EVER we never left a tip. She did not smile at us, was totally rude and I will not be suprised if many more loyal customers refuse to visit again if she is serving them. Thankfully the kind guy who worked there recognised us as regular customers but by this time it was too late we had ready been treated badly by this member of staff! I only paid £70 for our family meal as I refused to order the extra items we usually order because of her rudeness! Never again! If she doesn’t like working there and providing good customer service she should leave!!

I'm a regular here, eat in & takeaway, & I love their food (both vegetarian & meaty). I've been eating here on average every other week for 3 years. There have been a few times where the sauce seemed like a substitution & not as good as usual, or they haven't had all the ingredients to make the full meal i'd usually order, but with a few small exceptions they're consistently excellent. I'd highly recomend you try this place.

When I came to London, I searched here and there to try a Korean restaurant, and ended up at Baribari Korean Restaurant. First of all, there was a long line of foreigners waiting to eat Korean food, so I waited for an hour while my K-gukppong was filling up, and then I ate pork belly, soft tofu stew, and soybean paste stew. It tasted like eating in Korea and the owner even provided cucumber kimchi and radish kimchi, so I was very grateful. It is written on the menu that kimchi is made every week. It was very delicious. If you are thinking about a Korean restaurant in London, don't worry and go to Baribari. It was a great meal.
