Terrible servicio y comida! Estaba deseando comer aquí con mi amigo, pero estaba muy decepcionado. Pedí el tazón de fideos de pollo y era bastante simple, pedí algunos copos de chile, pero incluso con eso me faltó sabor. Lo peor fue cuando mi amigo pidió el besugo frito, que no especifica en el menú es frito. Mi amigo es muy saludable, así que no lo quería y pidió tener la otra opción de pescado en su lugar que amablemente hicieron por nosotros. Cuando pidió el besugo frito, el camarero le preguntó “¿te gustaría eso con coco o arroz al vapor”, lo que implica que viene con el plato. Luego se adelantó y nos cobró por ello cuando ella ni siquiera pidió arroz, él lo mencionó. Pedimos que se quitara el arroz de la factura y él dijo “YA HAS DESPERDICIADO UN PLATO”, lo cual es muy grosero, no lo desperdiciamos, simplemente no estaba claro que estuviera frito y a ella no le gustó el sabor. En general, la comida no era genial y el servicio fue decepcionante. Incluso si al cliente no le gusta la comida, no significa que debas ser poco amable o grosero, fuimos muy educados durante todo el proceso. Trabajo en servicio al cliente, así que sé que la gente puede ser difícil, pero no siento que lo fuéramos, pero no nos trataron bien. Som saa is amazing!! The food is fantastic and service is wonderful. The mu parlow braised pork is packed with flavor and extremely tender. The minced prawn curry was perfectly spiced and well balanced. We hadn’t originally ordered it, but loved it! Our waitress Eden was outstanding!! She was one of the best servers we’ve had. We will definitely be back to som saa soon.

Sabrosa comida bengalí especialmente pescado 🐟 platos servidos por personal amable en un ambiente limpio pero frío 🥶 ya que la puerta se deja abierta para que entre la corriente de aire frío. ¡Los baños deben mantenerse limpios y no para que la gente entre desde la calle para usarlos a voluntad!

I visited this place yesterday with my friends. I ordered one butter naan, one garlic naan, and their chicken korai. Shockingly, within just 2 minutes of sitting down, they brought us only one naan and the chicken korai — which was a bad sign from the start. The portion of the chicken korai was extremely small and honestly, it didn’t taste good at all. As we started eating, we waited for the rest of our food — especially the naans — but they never arrived. We kept calling the staff multiple times, and they kept saying “2 more minutes,” but we ended up waiting for around 40 more minutes. In total, they wasted about an hour of our time. When we finally went to the cash counter to complain and asked for the bill, they casually said it would take even longer. We told them we didn’t want anything more and asked for the bill. Shockingly, they still charged us the full amount — no apology, no gesture of goodwill — and even laughed about it. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Extremely poor service, rude behavior, and absolutely no value for money. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

Visité Karapincha 2 veces durante mi estancia en Canary Wharf. La comida era buena y fresca y servida caliente. Lo que me decepciona es el sistema de facturación. No hay nada en las pancartas que muestre los precios de sus platos. La primera vez que entré pedimos 2 inactivos y uttapam. A la salida, la señora del cajero preguntó si habíamos pagado el uttapam. Volví al restaurante después de 10 minutos porque tampoco estaba seguro de si lo había hecho. Una joven del mostrador revisó la caja registradora y me dijo que había pagado. Cuando entré al día siguiente, el cajero dijo que no había pagado por el uttapam, lo que me pareció muy extraño. Pedí el almuerzo, un arroz vegetariano y curry por el que me cobraron alrededor de 17 libras (lo que no tiene sentido (notado solo después de ver la factura de mi tarjeta de crédito). También me cobraron por el uttapam, que se confirmó como pagado, el día anterior. Todo esto podría evitarse si tuvieran precios por adelantado en sus carteleras y también proporcionaran recibos a los clientes. No me dieron ni un recibo. Así que creo que sus prácticas de facturación son un poco deshonestas.

Absolutely outstanding curry, the owner was super chatty and helpful. Thankyou for a lovely meal, we wish you all the best with the opening of your new restaurant in Woolwich this evening also. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend you to our friends and family visiting London.

OMG! I had no idea how aggressive the 'sales' would be walking down brick lane. We were approached by pretty much every indian restaurant as we walked claiming that their food was the best. All pretty much offered the same deal... 25% off the entire check and a round of free drinks. After we finished our stroll and declining every offer to hear the next one, we went back to the one that sounded the most enticing (and the most crowded)... this place. Little did we know we were being set up for a bait and switch tactic. The staff was friendly upon entering, accommodating our family of 6 by swiftly arranging the tables and pulling them out so we could sit down. After seating they asked what we wanted to drink and I told them the 'deal' that we were granted. I almost expected them to know what their guy was selling outside to get us in the door but they immediately sounded struck by surprise. Like a car salesman, the server immediately went to the manager to make sure that he could grant us the deal. He came back and asked who specifically told us about the deal. I pointed outside to the guy who now seemed to disappear but handed them the business card that he gave me. They said 'okay'. The temperature seemed to drop immediately like they were getting the lousy end of the stick. He then asked us what we wanted to drink. I confirmed that the round was free and he confirmed. 1 beer and 5 mango lassi's please. As we proceeded to look at the menu, I was actually surprised at how high the prices were. In my mind, I was thinking they jacked up the price knowing that they would be giving out discounts to get people in the door. That's fine I guess. 25% off brought the prices back down to reality. We continued to look at the menu and then we made our order. Shortly after ordering our drinks came out. The mango lassi's were pretty good. thick and creamy. The beer was super small. About an 8 oz pour (half pint). That's fine I guess cause it should be free right? I wouldn't mind ordering another. About 5 minutes after enjoying some of our drinks the manager or owner or some authority figure came over to our table with a tablet. He explained to us that he couldn't possibly afford to give us a free round of drinks AND 25% off. He proceeded to tell us that his establishment was very high quality and we'd be getting a great meal at standard prices without a discount. He offered us one or the other... EITHER 25% off the entire check OR the 1 round of free drinks. I specifically told him that we came into the restaurant with that deal in mind and we could have just went next door with the same deal. The car salesman in him seemed to come out and he continued to talk up his restaurant saying how fancy it was and that he could not afford to give us both. He was visibly getting upset that we would hold to what they offered to us in the first place. I told him that he shouldn't be getting upset with us, but his dude outside that was offering this deal if anything. How preposterous! He eventually turned around to his colleague upset. I looked at my wife and she said they may spit in our food or something. I agreed and we decided to just get up and leave. We left our drinks there and got the family out of there. I normally don't write 1 star reviews. I'll generally give the establishment some leniency thinking that the workers just had a bad day or it was a fluke. Not this one. It felt like they were set up to grab as much money from customers as they could knowing that we were tourists and 1-time guests. Maybe it was a fluke. Maybe their food is actually good. I will never know and won't ever care to know since our experience was a bad one. BTW, we walked about a block and got some indian takeout and ate it at the hotel and it was delicious!

Still remember this meal- their sushi and food was awful which is why we never came back here. Was a mistake to place such a large order for a party at a new place. we threw half of it away!

the food smelled really bad, smelled expired/moldy like been left out for days and tasted horribly and when i talked to the manger “he kept insisting its fresh and all food is fresh” which obviously isn’t true, and when i tried to ask the manger to smell the food he kept refusing. i did eat at this restaurant before but another branch, it was nice and tasted good. and did order same exact dish. i don’t recommend coming here it was a very bad experience.
