Nice bar just a couple of minutes walk from Dalston Kingsland station, with a rooftop terrace that is lovely in good weather. There's a decent cocktail menu with prices that are pretty standard for London these days. I ordered a Watermelon Martini, for some reason the barman made (and charged me for) two, I wasn't complaining at the time but my head was the following day, it was such a nice cocktail though. Negatives were that it was early on a Saturday evening and they'd already run out of Prosecco when we wanted a bottle or two for the table, not the end of the world as we were able to get a rosé instead. Also the rooftop is at the top of a hotel (not well signed, you had to take a lift up to the 5th floor and then follow the corridor along) and for toilets you had to go back downstairs.

Wow, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food in East London, but this was above and beyond. Kin the new manager (with whom we had a lovely friendly chat!) has thoughtfully redone the interior so it feels very cozy, and the garlic pho was the best I’ve EVER had. Great selection that’s more unique than your standard pho place. Bravo, this is my new go to spot for Vietnamese!

Salt and pepper crispy tofu is delicious, best tofu I’ve had! They’re also very nice and helpful. Thoroughly recommend!

Basic dining experience but tasty food. We enjoyed the vegan tofu curry and the summer rolls, the pho was quite bland but ok. These three dishes were plenty for a meal for two and came to £31. Service is non-existent; ordering is via the website (frustrating with poor internet signal) or cash only, the staff barely acknowledged anyone. Nice enough surroundings and still busy just before closing at 10pm. Not the best Vietnamese food around but quick and simple and not too expensive, go for a quick post-pub tea, not to linger.

Lovely fresh flavours. Great menu. Beautifully presented summer rolls. Lots of vegan choice. We really enjoyed our evening here. Attentive, friendly team looking after us. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. Support a local neighbourhood business and avoid the chains!

I really love the food here, and they are friendly, but the space can be uncomfortable, very cold in winter and hot in summer. When we went this week the table was uncleaned and tacky , and the menus had splotches of sauce on them. We had a table by the kitchen and one waiter kept almost running back and forth, skimming past us with millimetres to spare, which began to make us a bit tense after a while. In a tiny space it's good to be considerate of everyone. He told us we could get a 10% discount if we gave a good review while we were there, and gave us cards to scan barcodes with links to Google reviews, but although we did try to, it was complicated because there was no network cover in there, you had to sign into their WiFi, giving your name, email and date of birth, then verify your identity and not being a robot by clicking on photos with cars in them, then sign into your Google account with name, date of birth, and password....we gave up in the end, as it was just too much of a faff. I preferred the previous system where they gave you a discount card for your next visit after you bought food. Some poor girls chair collapsed while we were there, but they kindly provided her a stool. Despite these niggles, the food is really delicious with the chicken satay a highlight.

The place look good but the food was so poor. I asked for aubergine fritters kelp soup. It was not tasty at all. So plain and it was £12. To improve the flavour I asked for chilli oil. They charged me £1 extra. It was not good at all. Tasteless and extra payment to try to improve it. I asked after for soya sauce as the flavour wasn’t better, and the waiters look at the menu to see if she could charge me. I am not coming back, and definitely there are many other places that can offer better value for money. I love Asian food, I love noodles soup, this was a disappointed.

Got a takeaway there as they don't allow dining any more even though covid is over. The food was average - not as good as the Chinese restaurant New Tastes next door which was sadly shut. Quick service.
