Chan's Noodle Bar in Hackney

Got a takeaway there as they don't allow dining any more even though covid is over. The food was average - not as good as the Chinese restaurant New Tastes next door which was sadly shut. Quick service.

the best Chinese around here. chan is the man. he is so welcoming and even remembers my name. The food is so delicious, Singapore noodles mmmmmmmmmmmm. Always hot, fresh and delicious.

La peor comida que he probado en años, la comida sin sabor, pedí fideos con verduras que estaban hechos, pollo en el arroz frito con pollo era duro y graso. Los llamé para decirles esto y la dama fue grosera, le pedí que me devolviera el dinero y estaba enojada. Por lo que sé, soy el cliente y si creo que algo está mal con lo que he pagado, tengo derecho a recuperar mi dinero. No recomiendo este restaurante a nadie. Por favor, evítelos a toda costa para usted y su bolsillo.

Un buen café chino en el verdadero sentido de la palabra, caracterizada por una decoración básica con algunas medidas que hasta rustles super wok sus peticiones en ningún momento. Era un domingo por la tarde en junio y me apetecía algo chino. Yo había estado Chan's unos años antes y recuerdo que era estupendo en lo que hicieron. Consta de una habitación principal, se paga en el mostrador al final de la habitación, tome su asiento y los platos vienen cuando esté listo. Los precios son francamente sorprendentes. Yo tenía un marisco brillantemente básico pero perfecto y sabroso Ho - diversión con fideos fritos crujientes para un fiver, además de una taza de té chino para 50p, además de algunas brochetas de gambas con salsa satay para cuatro libras. Llamada de 10 libras. De locos. Negocios es rápido y hay una interminable procesión de casa los jinetes moto entrega entrando y recoger pedidos - para aquellos que no quieren venir aquí en persona, pero claro valor y calidad básica cuando lo encuentran. Y hay ciertamente mucho de la competencia como parte de esta calle Mare está repleta de restaurantes y supermercados orientales. Hay una buena variedad de platos para probar pero recuerda que es su platos chinos más básicas que son todo cocinado de manera competente. Como Chan es sin licencia, también puede traer sus propias bebidas alcohólicas, si así lo desea. Maravilloso.

Comí aquí una noche cuando me alojaba en un hotel sobre la carretera. La comida era bastante buena y volvería.

I have visited this place a number of times with my family. The food has never disappointed in both flavour and quality. The children eat anything I order - which is a real testament to the quality of the food. The establishment looks as if it is a family run business and has a feel of home cooking about it. Some of the dishes have been adapted for Western palates - which is a shame as the originals are almost always better. The noodle soups and the aubergine stews are highly recommended. The seafood never tastes as if it's been in the fridge for days. On a sad note for those who know the place - the guy who used to take phone orders and was always at the front counter - Hai Tran - passed away in March 2017. He was a character and a real pleasure to deal with and I for one miss him and his charm at Chan's Noodle Bar.

Ok... So I've been here about 6 times as it's next to my work place. Now I'm not a big fan of Chinese food and I've had a fair share. Missy of the time I'm disappointed but every time I've been here I haven't been disappointed. I usually order the egg fried rice with salt and pepper. I've tried the other dishes like the duck and chicken fried rice and they were fine. The food won't blow you away but personally it's the best I've tasted near my work place.

the food and service is good for what you pay. good if you are in the area looking for a cheap lunch.

Not fresh....bland taste....avoid and go somewhere else....The waitress was really good and helpful but the main star ( the food) was truly disappointing

Just one thing, I'll never go back there. The food is surely not from today, the quality is really bad, there is no taste. It's really cheap and I understand now why. I'm about to throw everything in the bin, that's a shame.

С виду это не примечательное заведение. Очень простой интерьер. Но еда вкусная, порции большие. Видно что сюда ходят местные. Обслуживание быстрое. Можно принести свой алкоголь, но не простые напитки.

I used to own a recording studio in Clapton until 2006. We always used to phone Chans for food to be delivered, up and would often go there. The food was always very good. I went there earlier this month ( March 2015) for the first time in years. The food was seriously disappointing, to say the least. I ordered hot and sour soup , followed by seafood ho fun. The hot and sour soup certainly looked like hot and sour soup, but unfortunately didn't taste like it. The main course was brought to the table literally 30 seconds after the soup, so was cold by the time I'd finished the soup , which was ( temperature) hot. The seafood ho fun besides being cold also tasted highly bland, and actually had bean sprouts in it.... I asked for chilli oil, thinking it might partially save the situation, but was told that would be 20 pence. I declined, as I've been eating Chinese food in Chinatown, and restaurants up and down the UK for 40+ years, and never ever been charged for chilli oil . A highly disappointing experience , and I certainly won't be eating there again.
