The best restaurants serving Asian food in London

Went in today and have been going here for the last decade. Most of which time I've had and used my gourmet card. Today- plug in fire /trip hazard round our table. That's ok i was aware though I figured this out for myself when I enquired about the heat and fire. I would think this would be on the website so people can decide to eat there on a cold day. Non the less it wasn't too cold at first. Got greeted with its very busy lots of large tables food might be 45 min wait..would have said I'll go elsewhere but have always enjoyed it here Then We have no cheese toasties left? What a restaurant with no cheese and no bread? £16 for a chicken burger was extortionate. The meal was delivered in 20 mins.. great! Then I'm told we do take gourmet discount caeds but you have to find the restaurant on the app for me to put the discount through we are no longer allowed to force membership numbers through? I was so surprised and slightly embarssed as this is new to me and only last night I was at the rose and crown in Ricky and only had my membership card on the app and this was good enough. Seems it's made to be awkward here? Sorry 10 yrs I've been loyal but I'm afraid after having to be forced to pay full price for an entitled discount I'll stick to last nights venue. I didn't appreciate the experience at all today. I pay for my discount card and hope to get full use of it when I'm meeting freinds as I have been this week. I feel quite robbed today in many ways. Sorry to say Tracy your colleague has some things to address A soup a chicken burger a coffee and a coke was £30! *Update! April 2025 I was invited back after the mess up of gourmet cards. The meal was complimentary for me and a friend thanks to the manager Tracy. She made up for the last visit with this and further clarified gourmet card is indeed accepted and all staff are aware, so if you go and this is disputed check with Tracy the manager. Our food was really good and the kindness has restored my faith. Many thanks for the experience Tracy

This is a lovely Thai restaurant on the banks of the river Thames at Kingston. It comprises of a large indoor area and has several outdoor tables too. It has a good menu offering a wide range of Thai inspired dishes complemented by a good range drinks including lovely smoothies and cocktails.  We had a very late brunch at 14:50! My choice of Omelette Pad Thai Jay was excellent as was my Koh Phi Phi smoothie (orange and strawberry with coconut). The rest of my group enjoyed their choices too.  Initially we were a group of four and were looked after by, if my recollection is correct, Alison.  We did not have to wait long at all but when we were joined by two others at an adjacent table something went wrong. Drinks were served promptly but, when the food did not arrive after about 20 minutes we found out that it had not been placed. Unfortunately as we were on a schedule we could not wait on the order being placed again. This spoiled an otherwise lovely dining experience.  Nonetheless I would still recommend it.

The food was nice, the service was fantastic, and the woman there, with a beautiful smile—her name is Kim—made everything excellent. I recommend it.

We arrived without a reservation on a Friday evening, which wasn't a problem at all. The staff was very friendly and gave us a table after a short wait. The food came quickly and was incredibly tasty, and the price was right. A real recommendation! 😊

This gem is my new favourite. My chicken vindaloo was amazing, the atmosphere was decent and it had a lovely designed layout. What would be amazing though is if they had Cobra on draft and not just served by the bottle but that’s one for the owner. I definitely recommended the Moghul, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be returning

Pls update your website. We arrived at 10pm to be told that you were closed even though your website says closing time is at 11pm.

It’s just about 4 stars food wise for me vermicelli was not up to my standards taste wise, rest of dishes wasn’t too bad!

I recently dined at Hamro Chautari , and I can't say enough about the exceptional experience I had! The service was outstanding, the staff member was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our meal enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and well-prepared. What stood out the most was the owner, who personally welcomed us and checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. We have been going there since it first opened. The food is delicious and always consistent. Last few years is our favourite take away food. Always arrives warm and tastes as good as eating there.

Items were missing despite me buying from them weekly. Very disappointed

Won’t be ordering again. Awful food. Raw onions and chewy lamb. The ingredients tasted stale and reheated. Had to throw it away.
