They were about to close on Sunday evening but thankfully stayed open for us to enjoy a meal. Very good.

I LOVE the food here. it's amazing; some of the best Indian food I've ever had to be honest. I highly recommend the chicken tikka, but all the food is great - you'll like whatever you get. The people there are so kind and try to make your experience great. We go frequently, and I think it's fairly priced.

I have been coming to Bengal Brasserie regularly for over 20 years and there has never been an evening when I have been disappointed. The food has always been of the highest quality, regardless of what day of the week I came. The menu is varied, though I invariably pick the same small selection of dishes each time - because why wouldn't I! The service is obviously friendly, I have been coming for 20 years! It is always such a convivial atmosphere. From the first time coming to the last (tonight) the welcome has been authentic. And the reason it has survived so long, seen off various competitors in that time, is because it always scores on all those aspects.

The food was not up to the expected standards of quality. The madras was mostly just sauce and the bhuna did not have particularly nice sauce. The naan was fine. This is a shame as this was previously my favourite curry place when I lived down the road from it a few years ago.

Do not go to this restaurant!! We ordered a takeaway from here and after arriving 30 minutes after it had left the restaurant, the food turned up cold. When we poured the curry out we saw a THICK black hair in the pasanda. I rang up the restaurant to complain and ask for a refund and was faced with a man telling me I was lying both about it being cold AND the hair. You can see in the picture, this is not a lie. Neither of us have dark hair so it cannot be our hair. Absolutely disgraceful service and we will never go back.

Whatever you do, do NOT order from this restaurant. We ordered a take away from JustEat. It took half an hour to get here (after being told it had left the restaurant and we live 10 minutes away) even though the worker lied and told us it only took 10 minutes total (we could see how long it took on the app). The meal turned up stone cold with a HAIR in it. I rang the restaurant and he accused me of lying about both, refused to refund us and hung up on me. Disgusting behaviour and clearly the restaurant is struggling.

The best food for a good price recommended

Food wasn't the best. Lamb was very chewy and was seasoned almost to hide the chewiness. Naans were great, but the lamb dishes ruined the meal for me.

On a recent visit from Australia we dined here on several occasions, it is my family’s go to local restaurant. This restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere and the staff are friendly and extremely attentive. The service was brilliant. All the dishes we ate on our 4 visits were excellent, tasty and individual. I would recommend this place if you want to enjoy good Indian food with no pretension.

I have always had great curries from this restaurant, it has been here longer than I have lived here, even friends have taken up ordering takeouts from them😀 . I’ll be having a very cheeky one tonight 😀 . And the manager, Abdul, who was a young waiter when I first started going there, is now the manager and very proud husband and father of 2 kids 😀 . Honestly, they are so friendly, and my god they dress to impress. 10 STAR local restaurant in my opinion 😀

Entrance is on streets level, inner door is manual but as you arrive someone opens the door for you. This is a lovely curry house. I moved out of the area but visit here when in the area. Certainly flavourful but the majority of that flavour seems to be in the watery liquid that even the rice can't seem to soak up. A bit disappointed after seeing the reviews.

Fantastic service, friendly and attentive from the moment we entered. Smartly dressed and making it seem formal whilst at the same time very chilled and laid back, hats off to you guys. Popadoms to start, Naan, Mushroom rice, paneer shashlik, creamy chicken and couple beers for main = what a meal. Fresh food, piping hot and genuinely very tasty! I have been to several similar establishments in the area and Surrey and this topped them. No grease / fat with the meals, decent portions and decent prices. Great Location - Bus stop right out side Turn left outside and walk down the road you will be at Teddington High St. 10min walk if that. 5/5 without a shadow of a doubt - highly recommend.

The food was nice enough but the tikka masala was pretty dry. Also we got yoghurt sauce and salad extras but no free popadoms as we have previously. Maybe they were forgotten? It was 10 mins late, not end of world. Otherwise all good.

Great restaurant. The food here was really nice and the staff were funny and accommodating. We came in with one of my siblings who has autism and the staff were very understanding and made him feel welcome and included. My family and I will definitely be coming back here in the future, I recommend it to anyone in the local area looking for a nice Indian restaurant!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bengal Brasserie, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant itself had a cozy and inviting ambiance, with beautifully decorated interiors that transported me to India. The lighting was just right, and the background music added to the overall atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food. Bengal Brasserie offers a wide range of Indian dishes, from traditional to contemporary, and all of them are absolutely delicious. I started off with the samosas, which were crispy on the outside and filled with a flavourful mix of spiced vegetables. For my main course, I tried the lamb rogan josh, which was tender and had just the right amount of spice. The side of garlic naan was the perfect accompaniment. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of the dishes was visually stunning. It was evident that a lot of care had gone into preparing the food. Overall, I highly recommend Bengal Brasserie to anyone looking for a top-notch Indian dining experience in Teddington. Absolutely amazing restaurant. We only came for few days and tried few different cuisines. But this? Absolutely lovely and tasty. Great service and equally good food. Can’t recommend this place enough. When we come back to London again, we will surely come back again.

Dined in with family, ambience is good but no high chair for infants, very small serving size for the price, Could not find any paneer in 'Sobzi paneer' (might have been ground) it was more like 'Sobzi aloo'. Staircase of 10+ steps to access the restaurant with no lift/ buggy access.

I ordered in Black Friday just-eat deal. I’ve ordered same meal for years and this time it was different- two tubs of rice and a sauce, it was like someone messed up the order, or gave me something different as it was 25% off this time. Tad disappointed this time.

The food was delicious, every dish was freshly made and had a lot of flavour. I hope it will stay the same....I definitely order again.

Collected order but had to wait 15 minute after the collection time. Got the order home and the bag was so greasy and wet the paper bag bottom fell out. I paid £3.25 for a wet bag of soggy chips that didn’t even fill a small side plate! Ordered 2 naans both were very under cooked I could squash them back in to dough balls. The keema naan was completely inedible. The curry’s tasted good but a were under seasoned and was not spicy at all and only warm not hot despite only living 5 minutes from the restaurant.

Worst food ever. portions are very small . Paratha is uncooked. The balti lamb is not balti lamb but some random mutton gravy . Seekh kebab and shaming kebabs are same .. they just the same seeking kebab mix and made round shami kebabs... the rice portion is good for a child. Pls save ur money and dont order from here at all

Delicious authentic food from our local, family run restaurant, well established for many years, and very reliable. We really appreciate our local venue because the food is always fresh - very good chef.

The starters (samosa, onion bhaji and mixed grill) were very good
