Intimate quiet restaurant. The beef Pad Thai was one of the best I've tasted but the sweet corn pancakes were a whole new taste sensation. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely dine here again.

Ordered 2 vegetable Pad Thai and one portion of vegetable spring rolls to take away..Collected the order myself and it was £26.85…A bit greasy and uninspired..Over priced…Disappointed..

This restaurant is in our local high street, we have eaten here several times and every time the food has been really excellent and the service has been sharp and precise. We asked for advice and got lots of help with the menu. We thoroughly recommend this place.

We were staying in a BnB and our host recommended Ims's. We often eat Thai food when out but found the menu to be far more varied than we were used. The food tasted fabulous, the presentation was outstanding the service friendly and efficient. We will definitely return on a future visit to the area.

We've been going to Im's since it has opened and it has been great and getting better! Food is pretty tasty and about as authentic as you can get for quite some distance.

We had menu A which was very good. We felt that the starters were quite oily unfortunately, although they were presented beautifully. Interior was nice and authentic so it is worth checking out.

Always so pleased to dine at ims. The food is always so fresh and tasty. I've now dined at ims for 5 years and after years of loving Thai food and trying out every Thai in the Borough at the very least this place has become my regular. Not only this but jasmine the owner with her husband make the space welcoming and inviting with lovely decoration. It's wonderful, friendly and a humble environment. The prices are very reasonable as I recently had a look at other local Thai restaurants and considering the portion sizes the value is reasonable. Always been very happy to cater to my young child's needs also, high chairs available and patience given. I cannot fault this restaurant.

We went for a family birthday event it was £30pp the food the food was meant to feed 5 adults and a toddler would have more on the plate gave us 2 small bits of fish to share between 5 adults thats not even half each. When I made a complaint and said I was not willing to pay the full £30pp they went over to the people who party it was to pay my extra money its disgusting it has nothing to do with them people it was due to the food size for 5 people but a table of 6 people had 5 bits of fish we was the last table to get food so I assumed they ran out of food and gave us what was left. I will never go back again!! If it was not for a family event they would not have got a penny from me as I would have walked out! If I could give no stars I would don't waste your money

After being to Thailand myself I was really impressed with the food on offer here. So many authentic dishes and so well presented. Prices are very fair especially with cost of living crisis. Staff are so kind and accommodating and met the needs of my vegan friends which was great as so many Thai places have fish paste in everything and can't take it out. I love it here!

Over prices,10£for one small glass of Bourbon Whiskey coke,(1.50 £ for little amount of coke that mixed in the glass )the waitress didn’t know what Bourbon whiskey meant ,charged double, Friend ordered coffee ,the waitress said No milk for coffee,my friend gone out to buy milk and give it to them, Green curry very sweet.Papaya Salad had 90%of carrot in it papaya 10%,, Food not came together ,one friend got to wait until others nearly finish their food,so he can eat. I am Thai and I’m not really expecting anything so originally authentic anyway when I’m traveling , When I asked her what should I ordered for something taste closely to Thai,she said not really ,it’s made for foreigner style .

Just really good reasonably priced food

Consistently excellent food and service here even when busy. The mixed starters come quickly and are hot, fresh and tasty. The curries are fabulous as are the noodles. This is our favourite Thai restaurant in the area. Good selection of wine and beer too.

We shared a chicken dish and duck off the speciality section and I didn’t think they were particularly special. Both tasty but quite dry. However the staff were lovely and helpful. Especially splitting the bill on a table of 12!!!

Tasty Thai food with warming hospitality to match! Definitely recommend the hot & sour soup to start, followed by broccoli and mixed vegetables to accompany Drunken Beef with Jasmine rice. A wonderful evening in Hampton Hill!

An excellent. tasty Thai meal. Sadly was easy to book or even walk in table on a Friday night. Friendly staff. Good variety but not too wide a drinks lists. Stuck to good old classical mains of Chicken green curry, chicken rice noodles and chicken with basil and chilli. Accompanied by steamed jasmine rice. Decent portions for two to share. Very good value. Even with a desert, a bottle of fresh pinot grigio blush and service just over £60. They could and should charge more.

There is always a warm and friendly welcome from the staff at Ims's Thai Kitchen. The food is pretty good, with lots of traditional and contemporary Thai dishes that should keep everyone happy. Well worth a visit.

Menu is bog standard, but quite expensive. Online ordering system places an extra £0.40 'service charge' on your delivery order without explanation (delivery is free for orders over £20). Food was nice, but pretty unimpressive for the price. All in all, not impressed. There are better places in the area to order from.

Another great meal, but sadly, a takeaway for 1. The Chicken Pad Thai was very good. We’ll be back to eat in as a family soon, and we can’t wait.

Ordered 2 Pad Thai main dishes plus a calamari starter to take away. Opened the calamari container (cost £7.95) to find the contents were only about 6 small pieces of cold batter with virtually no calamari in at all! Then discovered that both pad thai meals were mostly stodgy noodle with small amount of chicken and smothered with peanut (which menu said was on the side). Totally lacking in flavour and after a few mouthfuls it went in the bin. I was so cross I went back to the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager or chef. Was told by the waiter that I had to deal with him so I complained about the awful food quality! Was offered a refund for the starter but not nearly enough apology and no one in the kitchen wanted to confront the issue. Wish I had taken the whole lot back! I've eaten Thai food for years in many different countries so can honestly say this was terrible! Don't waste your money supporting this restaurant.

A wonderful takeaway meal. We have just enjoyed a mixed starter for two. king prawn green curry, chicken green curry, and egg fried rice all for under £36. The flavours and quality was as good as when we could eat in. A lovely meal, and we’re looking forward to be able to eat in the restaurant.

The 4 of us had dinner at Ims’s tonight. It’s been too long since our last visit, and I’d forgotten just how superb the food is. It has the best service in the Hight St, and every mouthful is a sheer delight. Sad that they need to close again, but they will be open for takeaways. If you like superb food, please support this local restaurant through lockdown.

We just had , another delivery from Ims's Thai Kitchen. I Love Thai food, and this is the Best one all around Richmond and Kingston.

We have been coming here for the last year or so now and have returned after the lockdown, the staff are lovely and the food is always good. I am surprised to see negative reviews as all the elements and courses are well prepared as well as being reasonably priced. Thank you!

Ordered and paid for home delivery but never arrived. Eaten here a few times and the food has always been reasonably good if a little overpriced. Always been a little dubious due to it only having a 4* hygiene rating too. However, ordered home delivery tonight which we paid for but was never delivered. Rang several times, no answer and gave up after 2 hours. Pretty poor service for any restaurant, no matter how busy they are if they can't pick up the phone even to say they can't fulfil an order.

We're supporting local restaurants during the pandemic, getting a take out at least once a week. We tried Ims's for the first time and the food was lovely, arrived in good time and was hot on arrival.It was a lovely meal and cheered us right up. If you can help by getting take outs from local retaurants in your area, please do because when this is over, we need these businesses to still be here.

Beautiful place with amazing decorations, calming music and great food! The staff is friendly and pleasant and they get things done quickly! I highly recommend going here to eat!

I had popped in to the restaurant tonight after work and had received a very warm welcome from Ims & Jasmine! The food was wonderful! It was the best Thai food that I had tasted. The restaurant is beautiful and has such wonderful features on the inside. Jasmine had looked beautiful in her traditional clothes. The Pad Thai is to die for and so are the spring rolls! I’d highly recommend this restaurant. I am looking forward to visiting again ❤️

Ordered my delivery at 1945hrs and received confirmation that it would be delivered around 2045hrs. Received a text at 2045hrs stating my delivery was on route, I live less that 10 minutes away. Called restaurant at 2100hrs as delivery not received and was told to expect a call back shortly once they ascertained where my order was. Received a call back at 2105hrs apologising that my order had gone missing? Was offered to have the meal cooked and dispatched within 10 minutes a.d with me within 20 minutes... by way of apology I was offered a 10% discount off my next order which enraged me! Not only have I already been waiting 80 minutes for my food the restaurant seemed it only worth a 10% discount. If they had offered my meal for free by way of apology I would have still been annoyed as I am hungry, however the offered discount is insulting. Not sure how they run a business with customer service like this.

Food is good, service is very good, restaurant is nicely decorated, it's not overpriced, good value. Parking in street, sometimes you can park outside the door. Bushy Park is very nearby and the Lido. Would definitely recommend it, good value Thai restaurant.

These guys never fail to delivery in spectacular food. We have recently had our family over from Australia (Big Thai Food Lovers) and we brought them to Im's! The service was spot on considering we have 12 people and the food was delicious. We were advised to try a couple of different dishes as we had so many people and they were as good as if not better than our usual choices. Thanks guys!!!

We often order (weekly) from this restaurant and it seems like they change their cook or recipe. There will be weeks when its really great and fresh however some weeks its really not good at all especially the padthai and tomyam.

Had a meal with my family, food was ok and amazing service from the old thai lady. The young lady owner seems to be condescend, she is not welcoming at all. The portions were extremely small and not worth it.

They did the usual annoying restaurant thing where it is half empty and they direct you to sit right next to other diners. We asked to sit at a table for 4 (we were a couple) and they said it was a table for 4 only, so we had to sit within 2ft of another couple and consequently felt on top of each other. What was particularly frustrating, was there was a couple already sitting at a table for 4, and then they showed a couple to the precise table we had asked to sit at!The soup Tom Kha tasted good but was such a meagre portion. The Pad Thai was good and what you would expect. The service was random, as having asked for a specific glass of wine and double checked it (a Rose) they rocked up with a white wine. On asking for the bill, they carried on serving everyone else and I had to ask for it twice in order to get it. so an average experience and wouldn't particularly recommend

It was Mother's Day so I temper my review with the statement from the lady who served us that they were 'very busy'. Unfortunately the restaurant was far from full so we did not quite understand why she said this!

Three of us ate dinner here in mid-week, without having pre-booked; there was no problem in getting a table.

I’m a bit embarrassed about how long it’s been since we’ve enjoyed another meal at Ims’s.

We've had take aways from there and were really impressed with the food. We decided to eat in, and it was a real disappointment. The waitress wanted to seat us at a table near the door and I asked for a table at the back as it was a very cold evening with snow falling. She agreed reluctantly. The service was indifferent, not very friendly, just robotic. The food was disapointing, very well presented but small portions. I had the vegetable Pad Thai and there were lots of vegetables but not many noodles. My husband had the Yellow curry with vegetables and egg fried rice and there weren't that many vegetables. The portions when ordering for home delivery were bigger. I think we'll stick to that in future and not eat in again, which is a shame.

Ate lunch here today. Lots of choice. Went for the main + beer. Green chicken curry was excellent. Good value at just £10 and service was good too.

We have not had a meal in the restaurant yet, although we mean to at some point. I am writing a review based on take away food, done three times at this restaurant. The restaurant has recently changed hands, it has really improved under the new owners. The food arrived sooner than scheduled every time and the person delivering it was different but pleasant each time. Being vegetarians, it's always challenging finding suitable dishes, but we both enjoyed the vegetable dumplings for starters, the red vegetable curry, egg fried rice and vegetable Pad Thai. All were deliciious and the vegetables were fresh, lightly cooked and the presentation very good for a take away. We are definitely regulars now, and will dine in soon. Highly recommended.
