Fuimos y pedimos la chuleta de cerdo fideos en el menú en la ventana exterior, pero que no lo hago. La camarera era bastante brusco, pero no de una manera desagradable.

Real auténtica comida malaya es una rareza en Londres, y este lugar es real! El Nasi Goreng y sal/pimienta calamares estaba cocinada a la perfección, y se sentía como estar en KL en mis viajes. El personal es muy acogedor y los precios son muy razonables para la calidad. . . . Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

A bit hard to find but what a gem! Great spot, been here for lunch and dinner. Really enjoy the curry laksa and vermicelli noodles :-)

This place I have been video visit for while and found one best Laksa around for very responsible price, best time to visit is in evening where is less crowded and to avoid disappointment, this place gets madly busy during lunchtime, make your way as earlier as you can to skip the queue.

Aquí me pop en ruta a muchos conciertos en el pub sacrificado cordero en Gran Sutton Street cerca. No es que la comida no es genial en el pub, pero ce 1 es perfecto para algo saludable, sabrosa, abundante y muy barato.

The food took an hour, and it was absolutely disgusting! We didn't eat it. The starters where barely cooked, it was soggy and not edible. Don't get me started on the rest of the food. Totally filthy food, will never eat here again! Will look forward to being on the toilet all day tomorrow.

They showed up 10 minutes earlier than they're target and the food was great! The Crispy Duck is a winner.

Sadly this order was poor. Delivery over 90mins even though quoted 45-60mins, Wrong noodles, requested vegetarian got meat had to throw away. Dumplings cold, crab claws were rubbery and cold. Only positive the cans of coke.

Quick to come out and lots of variety. I found all far too salty to finish eating I had to leave it. They use the same vegetables for different dishes hence the speed however it would be Nicer if it were varied so the dish looks and tastes bit more different . I wouldn't go again.

Food was good, as always. Only small complaint is that we ordered a portion of pork balls, but got a portion of prawn balls, with just two pork balls thrown in. Otherwise very nice food, and good delivery service.

We went there with 8 people for dinner. We got free Krupuk with spicy sauce and tapwater with our food. The roast duck (soup or with rice) is great and the staff is very friendly.

Sweet and sour chicken was fine but the ribs and crispy beef was terrible! The delivery tool almost 1 hour and 15 minutes.Overall not a good experience.

Exceptionally good quality food

Better than most Chinese we've ordered on Just Eat. Half an hour early. The ribs were really tender, though lacking any chilli, and very tasty. The chicken satay, curry, and fried rice were all really good. The noodles were okay. The only let down was the sweet and sour, which was rather bland. There seemed to be a severe lack of chilli in any of the dishes, but otherewise all very good.

This place is up the road from my office, so it's a convenient place to go for a hot lunch - I love oriental food! The food is great, and comes in huge portions! :) You won't get service with a particularly big smile here, but you will be able to have some lovely fried rice/noodles/soup in your lunch hour, no problems. Not too pricey either for the portion size and quality.

EC1 Noodle Express is a cheap and cheerful Chinese eaterie tucked away in a quiet little side street in Clerkenwell. Don't be deceived by the basic surroundings and prompt service - the food is consistently good quality and portions are generous in size.I understand that the people that run it are Malaysian Chinese, hence the Malaysian specialities that they do - such as Nasi Goreng, a delicious and spicy fried rice dish with chicken, prawns, shallots and fish sauce - are excellent. Similarly, I am reliably informed by a Singaporean colleague that their Laksa - a spicy coconut-based soup - is also very good and authentic. They also do a good quality roast duck with egg-fried rice, as good or better than most Chinese places in Soho.Surroundings are basic, but prices are cheap which is another attraction and makes it popular at lunchtimes with local office workers etc.

On the way to the Slaughtered Lamb for a music evening and thought we should have some food before hand. Spotted this down a side street, great tasty food that came very quickly (was indeed express) and also cheap for London. We both had a glass of wine which was not the best but was acceptable. Would go back again if in that part of London.

Yet again another well cooked meal here. I usually go along with my son, but this time my husband came along as it was my son's birthday. He has always made excuses not to try Noodle Express. (" I don't like noodles") . On the way home he actually said, " I would go there again"Wow, praise indeed!The food is flavoursome & well priced.The staff are polite & efficient. Service and atmosphere are not the best but it's always busy because the food is great. Incredible good value for money, the portions are large, more than you need. Perfect for Lunch, Dinner or take out. Really good for Vegetarians and meat eaters a like. Bust at lunch but quick turn around. I was apprehensive to try due to appearance, one of my favorite places in the area now.

OK, so in all honesty Noodle Express won't win any prizes for ambience or an incredible view, but if like me, you enjoy a big bowl of delicious, spicy, coconut broth then I recommend it. The portion is enormous - a basin. I haven't tried any other dishes because the Laksa is the only reason I come here. Bring a book, order a beer and enjoy authentic Laksa for less than a tenner. Remember to take cash as they don't take cards.

One of my favourite cheap eats in Clerkenwell. The laksa is absolutely amazing. It is a bit on the spicy side, but that goes well with a Chinese lager. Very good value for money

This place is at the back of my office and is always really busy at lunchtimes so I thought I'd give it a go.The prices are really good and the portions are massive but I didn't think the quality was particularly fantastic. It tasted like any other Chinese takeaway. Nothing to really write home about. I ordered a chicken ho-fun and it was nice enough but some of the chicken bits looked dubious and it was a bit greasy.I would recommend for a quick one-off, but there are much nicer places to eat in the vicinity.

An excellent little place just off St.John Street in Clerkenwell. Unfortunately, they are only open at lunchtimes, but if you turn up at busy times the queue will be out of the door.The menu provides a range of oriental noodle dishes and soups all freshly cooked and quickly served. The menu rates the dishes for heat (i.e. amount of chilli) so it helps avoid red faces! Service is efficient and friendy without being intrusive.A colleague from China came here every day for his lunch for the months that he was working in the area.If you like Wagamama and are in Clerkenwell, then give EC1 a try...
