Pho in Islington

Tuvimos un tiempo fantástico! La comida era absolutamente increíble, no podía faltar, con un ambiente que simplemente hizo todo mejor. El personal era muy amable, nos recibió cálidamente y nos registramos para asegurarse de que estábamos disfrutando de todo. Además, la limpieza y la rapidez del servicio estaban en su punto. No podría haber pedido una mejor experiencia!

Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing and not what I expected. I really like Pho in Clapham Junction, so I assumed the Angel branch would be just as good. However, the noodles were stuck together, and the three types of mushrooms didn’t seem very fresh. Most importantly, I felt unwell after eating, which made me question the freshness of the ingredients. I hope they improve this.

An amazing meal thanks to Vishv especially, great service and food from him and his team. He need a a promotion asap!!

I always love Pho for its reliability and vegan options. This particular experience was made excellent by our server Deshane. He was attentive, accommodating, but most of all so friendly and he deserves a raise.

Loved Islington Pho tonight, friendly and helpful staff. Knowledgeable and aware of coeliac disease and careful to explain menu and make sure we felt reassured but in a relaxed and low-key way. Added to that the ever-delicious pho curries and summer rolls = a perfect meal!

‘PHO’ is a rice noodle restaurant that I always visit when I stay in London. Warm soup, soft noodles, and great service will make you forget the cold of London. 😊 The basic PHO is really delicious, and the spicy PHO and nem are also great! Whenever I stay in London, I always visit the pho restaurant 'PHO'. The warm broth, tender noodles, and amazing service make you forget all about London's chilly weather. 😊 The classic PHO is absolutely delicious, and the spicy PHO and Nem are also fantastic!

I am also Korean, and I felt that I experienced racial discrimination. We live near Angel Station and have always loved the pho at this restaurant, having eaten here many times before. So we know that there are plenty of seats inside. When we visited last night, all the staff members were white. The restaurant seemed full, and there were tables near the entrance and next to it. A white man, who appeared to be the manager, told us that all the seats except for the entrance table were reserved, without even checking the inside tables. At first, we didn’t think much of it, but then a white couple who arrived after us was immediately guided to an inside table by another staff member after checking the availability. I asked if there were any tables inside, but the staff member ignored me and turned away. Only after seating the white couple did they come back and tell us that a reservation had been canceled and guided us to the table next to the entrance. Additionally, they spoke to us in a dismissive tone, saying they only accept card payments, not cash—something they didn’t mention to others. When our pho was served, it was brought out separately, and we strongly felt that our table was being treated carelessly. After that, the manager never approached our table again; only a younger male staff member came by once to check on us. Although I didn’t want to pay the service charge after this experience, I still paid it in hopes that the white manager would reflect on his behavior. It feels incredibly upsetting to experience racial discrimination at an Asian pho restaurant that I used to love. I never want to visit again.

Jola, was a lovely server very accommodating. Food was great, and for how quickly it came out the quality held up.

I am Korean, and I visited this establishment with one other person. Upon arrival, we were told that all the tables were booked, and the only available table was near the entrance, directly exposed to the cold draft. Shortly after, a white couple walked in and was promptly seated at a warmer, more comfortable table inside. This experience left us feeling clearly discriminated against based on race. We will not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others.

I am a regular at pho Islington. Food is always freshly prepared. I like coming early for dinner or late for lunch as it quiet and staff let me sit for any time I want. I often choose bowls as opposed to actual Pho. But all the dishes are quite tasty. Better than most stir fry fast food chains by far. Also great value.

Terrible service, takes ages to get served no apologies when they have forgotten some stuff (special mention to the blond waitress). They are not attentive either. When you ask for the bill or anything else they clean the tables instead of prioritising customers and you just WAIT FOREVER. Staff need to be trained properly!

I came here after 5years and l and I find this restaurant very good, fresh food and attentive team members. Food is delicious!! I used to work for Pho in Liverpool and this restaurant is a top 5 !! Thank you very much! Hope to visit you soon, again!

Disfruté de mi tiempo aquí, que es importante cuando se come solo. El personal no me apresuró y me dio el espacio y el tiempo que necesitaba, pero también fue bastante tranquilo en mi visita. Disfruté de mi comida, pero leyendo otras críticas a continuación estoy de acuerdo - tal vez era soso. No soy experto en fotografía, así que no pensé mucho en eso en ese momento, y me lo comí todo. Tamaños de porción buenos también.

Food was amazing! We had two lovely attentive waitresses, one who was on her trial shift!

Pete served us and was fantastic and so sweet, made sure were well looked after and recommended great dishes. Defo coming again!
