Food was great, just not a fan of the "optional service charge" that is already added to your bill and I don't recall seeing that mentioned on the menu, just a small note at the bottom of the receipt. I understand it for tables of large groups, but there was only two of us.

Ate here as we needed to be in the area. First time and was impressed. I had the chicken pho soup which was delicious. Too many noodles so couldn’t eat it all! We shared a summer roll to start which was really good. Will definitely go back

On Friday, September 6th, around 2:00 PM, I visited the Pho Café in Islington for the first time. Unfortunately, this visit turned into a deeply traumatising experience. Moments after my food had been served, a typically East European man (who looked like a Romanian gypsy, you know, the ones who beg and leave things on the tube) – tall, big, broad-shouldered, round-faced – approached me. He was uncomfortably too close and silently placed a piece of paper with writing on my iPhone beside me on the table (which I was unaware of then). His demeanour immediately made me uneasy. He didn’t speak, but evil stared at me with an unsettling, almost predatory gaze. I politely told him I had no cash and asked if he could leave. The situation felt wrong from the start. His paper even touched my food, further adding to the discomfort. Immediately after this man left, I realised my iPhone 15 Pro Max was missing. The theif had used the paper as a distraction tactic to steal it. I was in a state of shock and panic, searching for him, but he had disappeared without a trace. The feeling of violation was profound, and even now, I feel uneasy about eating out at restaurants. This incident highlights a serious lack of security and customer care at Pho Café. Despite this apparently being a known issue in the area, the staff failed to warn me or other customers of the potential for phone theft. The absence of proactive measures or warnings is a serious concern and needs to be addressed immediately. Had I been made aware of the risks, I would have been more cautious and put my phone away. Instead, I was left vulnerable. It is deeply troubling that the restaurant prioritises avoiding negative publicity over the safety of its customers. The absence of proactive measures or warnings is telling. I have decided never to return to Pho Café, and I strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution if they choose to visit. This restaurant is not a safe environment, and dining there means risking your meal and your valuable personal belongings.

Good place, food was good but service was a bit relaxed

Quality of delivery has really dropped off. No lettuce anymore with spring rolls, hardly any fresh herbs with bun noodles or rice dishes. What happened?

I was spoken to rudely by a blonde person who had her hair tied up in a bun when I requested a different seat due to medical issue. She seems to be the "manager". Rude to staff members and also to customers. She spoke to me dismissively and aggressively when I mentioned that I was unable to sit on a stool. She also spoke to a male waiter very dismissively who was trying to help on my behalf. Won't be back. There was an Asian male waiter there was very kind - thank you to him for trying to help. I feel sorry that your manager is dismissive. Good customer service comes from the top. You can speak to people respectfully and kindly regardless of whatever issues you are going through. I am sure there will be a response from the owner who will not address the crux of the issue - manager rudeness and lack of inclusivity/adaptability towards customers. Update - "safety reasons" were not mentioned in person, so the below response is not strictly true. Is there going to be a response regarding the rudeness of the manager?

Correct, we really liked it, not located in any tourist area, we had a quiet dinner, we were a group of 10 people with teenagers

It was much appreciated - thank you :) Not only did the food look vibrant, colourful and appetising! It was delicious and satisfying! Everything was quick and efficient, which was handy! Great prawn curry, the flavour is lovely and rich and good portions. Love that they give cauliflower rice as an option. Starter of beans were delicious as a side too.

One of the greatest places of asian food in London where price and quality ratio matches up. Always excited to sit here for a quick lunch.

There is no such good food in Hong Kong. If you like spicy food, you will definitely like it. The portion is also very sufficient.

Service was wonderful, very good server Francesco, food was pretty good-alright, chicken curry the 600kcal one was slightly funky like a coconut but not really, but still pretty filling, and I enjoyed it to the extent that I've worn a bit of the soup on my shirt 🤣 Anyways yea atmosphere is nice not bad at all. Service charge 12.5% but deserved absolutely. Thanks to Francesco and the main man with the bushy moustache for helping me with apple pay. I'll definitely go next time, and perhaps for an actual pho. Not bad at all.

Went to Pho Islington as a group of 4 For starters we got baby squid (standard flavours 5/10) Vietnamese chicken and prawn pancake (exceeded expectations, great sharing dish, 9/10) Mains, we got king prawn curry soup (similar to Thai green curry but lighter, generous serving of prawns 8/10) House special crab pho (fully bodied broth, hearty and great with chilli oil 7.5/10) House special chicken pho (tomato and lime broth, the green veggies were very fresh and tasted even better with the addition of chilli oil 8/10) We also got drinks - dragon fruit lemonade and the non alcoholic negroni was sour/ citrus- perfect if you prefer something tart Thr Vietnamese iced coffee was the best coffee I've had in a while! Get this when you visit. The service was great too, servers were very friendly and helpful Overall experience 8/10

Don’t like that the service charge is already on the bill because if you are not check it you could pay it twice. Also I prefer to have the option how much to tip the amount I think is ok.

I tried to have lunch here at 3pm. There were tables available even though only about 1/4 of the restaurant was open, one of the tables had a couple of boxes on it which could have been easily moved. I was not welcomed to the restaurant, in fact my visit started with rudeness from what appeared to be the manager! I was then told there were no available tables! I pointed out the various empty tables (in different parts of the 1/4 restaurant which was open) but I was told “that part of the restaurant was closing” - which bit? All of it?? I have experienced rudeness from this restaurant before, but I doubt I will return again.

Good food, fresh and flavorful. The brisket pho is very good. Definitely worth a visit. The staff is very friendly and will do what they can to make sure your experience is good. The place was busy which caused the staff to be a bit overwhelmed, but the food came out quickly and they made sure I knew they wanted my experience to be good.

Just WOW! Hands down, this is the best food I’ve eaten in a long time! It’s incredible. So tasty! I loved everything, also their cocktails. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. The service was great too. PLEASE come to Sevenoaks Kent!! Yum!

Tasty and interesting food, but most dishes I tried were just a bit too salty.

I ordered on deliveroo and the tofu mushroom vermicelli came with fish sauce. I am vegan haven't eaten fish in 15 years and l felt nauseous and sad from all this. Eventually deliveroo agreed to refund the order apart from this dish because they got it redelivered. When the redelivered one turned up it contained fish sauce again. All items labelled VEGAN. The tofu mushroom vermicelli noodles turns up with fish sauce. I realise because I pour it over my noodles and it gets on my finger and I licked it. I am disgusted. Not only that but the food contained an undisclosed allergen, FISH, on a dish labelled VEGAN. The restaurant phone number wouldn’t connect and it wouldn’t for deliveroo either. It’s like they took it off the hook. So I couldn’t phone to confirm the vegan dish and I also can’t warn them to stop sending an allergen out. I am horrified and feel sick. Someone could die from this.

Good place to grab a bowl of Vietnamese noodles. The soup is not overly salty and the bun sauce more sour than fishy. Service is friendly and prompt.

Delicious Pho with tons of vegan options and pretty consistent taste/quality over the times we’ve been here (Tofu Mushroom Curry Noodle is my go to!). Only downside is that service can be really slow if they have a lot of delivery orders (we waited 45mins for our main on a recent visit so were quite hangry by the end). Worth flagging if you’re hungry like the lady near us as her food was out in 10mins 🤷🏽‍♀️

This was a revelation. Such delicious food. You gotta try the pancake, with peanut sauce. Amazing. Forget the rice paper. Eat with your chopsticks! Spicy chicken curry was so delicious. We’re coming back!

Unsure if I had time to eat. In and out in 30 minutes. Starter was almost immediate. Main was soon after. Both delicious. Very helpful and lovely staff. Would come again
