Palm Beach Restaurant in Brent

I was there a couple of days ago a waiter asked me to sit in the corner and did not come back for 7 min to take my order, called another waiter he apologised and took the order he was polite too. The sea food kothu was full of cabbage and leek I could hardly taste rotti. I did not order vegetable kothu. Very disappointed

It is a great Sri Lanka cuisine restaurant. Does serve Indian curries too. Value for money and best in taste. Great customer service and good atmosphere. Loved it. Will definitely return. Try weekend special steamed bamboo biriani or banana leaf biriani. It's great. Too busy on weekends so try to be a early bird.

This was the best place I ever met .For starters I ate Fish Cutlet. For the main course I ate Bamboo Mutton, it was so delicious the chef name was Sri Sakthi, he made it very tasty and spicy. I would definitely recommend a family to eat at this place

The food here was seriously amazing everything we got hit the spot and tasted flavourful, the price is very reasonable, we got mutton rolls, chicken biryani, devilled panner (personal favourite), Mutton Fried Idiyapa Kothu, Veechi Roti, Mutton Curry & another curry I can't remember the name of but it was vegetarian and tasted better then the mutton curry, I'm not gonna lie I can't fault anything we received it all tasted fresh and amazing, I would highly recommend going with a Sir Lankan friend as they will definitely order the right stuff for you. ONLY and maybe I'm just being picky but the menu is to big it's like reading a Argos catalogue The location is really good as you have street parking on the side road and if you are coming by train it's also not too far. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, I was watching football on my phone and they asked me what match it was and put it on the TV for us to see, just a little gesture of going out your way which I really liked. Palm beach wont be the last time seeing me as it was my first time trying them and definitely won't be the last

We went to have dinner. Ordered food at 8:07 they told food will be there in 10mins told them we were rushing. And we kept on asking a waiter told 2 mins again 2 mins and again 2 mins and after about 20mins they still didn’t figure out what has happened. The manager asked in Tamil did they forget the order and the waiter replied they are packing . And then we were leaving not even a single apology for the shitty treatment. Horrible service.

I kid you not when I say, I walked out feeling so satisfied and couldn’t stop looking at and thinking of this plate of goodness (Thali or banana leaf as we call it in my home country/ chicken meal set with string hoppers). One of the best and most authentic meals I have had in a while, will definitely revisit and highly recommend to anyone craving Sri Lankan/ South Indian food (which actually has a kick to it 🌶️ - though it could be spicier hehe).

Visited last Saturday for lunch and it was really good - a great Tamil restaurant in the Wembley area! The Venison Kothu Roti was a new dish for me but it tasted really good. The service was good, the food came out promptly and the price very reasonable & fair given the large quantity of food they provided.

Really Amazing food. Must try dishes are Puttu Thali. Mr Anto Sundar really guided us with the choices. He was really helpful as well as we had a nice service from him. Much appreciated. Keep it up. Cheers

Palm Beach serves rustic cuisine from India and northern Sri Lanka, best part is they do not dilute flavours and serves food the way you would expect back home in the Indian subcontinent. Must-eat preparations include Meen Pollichathu (truly one of the best in London), Meen Nirvana, Kodi Vepudu, Butter Chicken Masala, Tandoori Prawns, Soft-Shell Crab Fry and Quail Pirattel (try with Egg Appam). There are excellent vegetarian options as well - on our previous visit we loved Jaffna Style Brinjal and Soy Masala (ask for extra hot). Also commendable is freshness of ingredients used, especially seafood was top-notch quality.

Our waiter Kavi was excellent and went beyond duty to make sure we were comfortable, as were all the staff; always smiling. The food is consistently excellent, as reflected by busy atmosphere.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was poorly prepared and lacked any sense of quality control. Even something as simple as tea was undrinkable. The customer service was equally terrible – the staff were unresponsive and took far too long to prepare our order. Overall, this is the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good place to eat srilankan biryani. The sides with biryani are good. Paratha with chicken curry is good. Busy, nosiy with local songs was bit disturbing. They could have played in low volume. Food is good.

Service was not good ,They literally made us wait 30 minutes , They Ignored us to order ..i have to go to counter to confront the service ..The food was cold and was dry too when it arrived. Most of item we ordered not arrived ... Need to improve the service or else it will affect the restaurant. Avoid...

We have been visiting this restaurants every weeks. Delicious food for both Veg and non-veg. My husband love the Dosa here. Their mutton curry is excellent. The customer service is topnotch. The atmosphere is so friendly and clean.

Palm Beach Restaurant in Wembley offers exceptional service and consistently high-quality food. As a Sri Lankan restaurant, they feature a wide variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes, with my personal favorite being their kottu. Their freshly made chicken rolls are another standout and a must-try. The prices are reasonable, and even though I visit occasionally, I’ve always found the service and food quality to be consistently excellent. They maintain the same high standards with every visit.

I visited the Palm Beach with my family yesterday. We tried to make reservations over phone, but we were told it was walk in only. When we went there, we had to wait 30-45 minutes outside the restaurant, which was pretty cold on a September evening. The staff nearly let people who came in after us inside before us because they lost track. The atmosphere was pretty fun with unique Tamil songs from both the UK and worldwide. The waiting staff were very friendly and reliable, food was delivered swiftly and we were very well taken care of. The food was well presented, good and spicy. Unfortunately, it was not salted properly, which diminished the flavour of the food. I’d rate it 4/5. Ultimately, the food was a bit underwhelming after waiting close to an hour for the food, both inside and outside the restaurant. It was a nice experience, hopefully service is different at less busy hours.

Upset they cheat with prices on just eat deliveroo and uber eats prices are very bad online cheating people please change the prices

Came here for dinner on the spur of the moment with relatives visiting from Sri Lanka. We had the idiyappam kothu with anchovies, chilli kothu parotta (both chicken & mutton varieties) and the kizhi parotta (mutton), and the meen pollichathu for mains. All excellent. Rounded off with watalappum (spelt on their menu as Vatilappam) for dessert - this dish in particular is rarely good in restaurants but was very, very good here. Even my not-easily-impressed Sri Lankan mother rated it “80%” !

We have dined at this restaurant many times before but was extremely disappointed with a delivery as we found a shard of glass in the curry. When complained about nothing was done and we received no compensation whatsoever. When ordering gulab jamun in the restaurant it had not been cooked properly and was still frozen on the inside, and this was with two dishes. This was very disappointing and we did not receive any compensation.

Server Vasanth was brilliant, looked after us in a professional manner.

Genuinely srilankan experience! Although the wait time was 55 minutes standing, I realised I could have probably reserved the spot, also shows why it's so busy, it's just a hotspot! Personally,I found the food super spicy, I barely ate quarter of the curry that too assisted with some raita on side! Next time I'll probably ask for a tub of yoghurt 😅
