I ALWAYS order from here. I've tried most others in the area and these guys are good and consistent. My only issue was last night, the delivery was around 90 mins. After spending £30 I'd expect a couple popadoms thrown in after being such a loyal customer. Also, I always order spicy as I love hot food, but the food didn't have any kick. The flavour was still lovely, just not to my taste. The delivery driver is always super nice and the staff are too. I'd definately recommend them.

Best Indian takeaway in East Dulwich, never disappoints.

Ordered when i got back from holiday as I had no food in the house. When the food finally arrived, it was nice. It just took ages and I was hangry and lightheaded by the time it turned up.

Their normal curries are very good, but the specials are the real treat. I've had a few now, and each has been different but delicious. The adraki chops are absolutely amazing too.

I paid for a litter of orange juice and they gave me one open and certanly no one litter but 3/4 I do not think this is acceptable even for a hygienic point of view

Queríamos comer cine post y este restaurante está casi en la puerta de al lado de la que inicialmente fue rechazado, Picturehouse, ya que estaba vacío, pero después de haber mirado otros restaurantes indios en el señorío de carril que donde muy ocupado o vacío, regresamos. Nos alegramos de que lo hicimos. El personal es amable y servicial. Una cena deliciosa y una factura vegetal muy razonable. Algunas personas vinieron después de nosotros, pero nos hubiera encantado alojarme allí solas, ya que el restaurante es bastante pequeño. Haremos de este un lugar Pre/Post regular cine para comer.

I've ordered from here at least 15 times now, trying other places in between. Nothing else has so far matched this place. Their food is consistent, and being a northerner, a good curry in London is not easy to find

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. When it came it was luke warm. Message from just eat to say it was delayed but now on its way was sent 35 mins before it finally arrived. Very disappointing.

Food wasn't good at all, was really runny and didn't taste anything like the menu described... Naan bread was a little undercooked and rice was sticking together... Won't be ordering from here again I'm afraid

Good food quality however I was given the incorrect size, I received a side dish of dal instead of the main I ordered. Portions have been small before which is a shame as the food is above average.

Good delivery times but honestly a very disappointing meal. The pilau rice did not taste fresh at all. Almost a stale after taste to it. Ordered a chefs special prawn dish which was simply flavourless to be completely honest.

Delivered 10 mins early on a Saturday evening. Piping hot, and great service. The Lamb Bhuna was really tasty and the meat just feel apart. Best Indian on the lane

I was really looking forward to this meal but I requested a certain time and it arrived 40 minutes eat which I did not want that's why there is an option to choose a time right? The curry was not as nice as the last time I had it from here so very disappointed.

The delivery took over 1:30 to arrive and when it did the bread was stone cold and the dansak curry too sweet. I rang the restaurant after an hour to check on the progress and was told it would be 10 minutes when it was actually closer to 40. Unlikely to be ordering from here again.

Food was excellent, good quality chicken. Delivery took 1 hr 20 mins on a Friday night, but we live just down the road so we should've just collected and we'd have got the food about 45 mins earlier. Would order again.

We've been eating here for years and the food never disappoints. It's a really friendly place and they often add freebies to your takeaway order. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We frequently order from Swadesh and this time were massively disappointed. I don't know if it has news chefs or owners but it wasn't the same. Usually we received free mint yogurt and mango chutney and also a popaddom. This time, nothing. The rice was undercooked. The portions were smaller than usual. MASSIVELY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED

Very average meal, avoid the Paratha. Delivery was over an hour late.

delivery guy did not have the correct change and instead of saying so made my niece have to ask why the change was short, it was only 4p but it would of been better customer service if he had stated this and said sorry instead of making her ask for the difference. Also only one poppadom when the order consided of 3 curries was a tad funny.

Me and my friends decided to go down the "Thali" route with a bunch of small, mostly vegetarian dishes. It didn't disappoint! Everything tasted individual and delicious.

Fuimos a Swadesh Pal con una semana pasada y pedimos un menú para dos. La comida era razonable, pero parecía que estaba calienta y no recién hecho. Quizás porque era domingo pero realmente no está a la altura de las expectativas. El pan era bueno y fresco pero los curries un poco aburrida. El personal era muy amable. Café era confirmación. Lo cual fue una pena. Opino que el sábado a la noche este lugar sería un poco mejor cuando la comida a petición. evite las noches tranquilas.

We usually have a fantastic experience here but ordering on a Friday night ended up leaving us disappointed. The food is fantastic, but it arrived after 1 and half hours and was luke warm. Even after this experience, I would recommend Swadesh.

Este es uno de los locales en señorío Lane. Con mucho, mi Indian Santino. Los chicos son muy agradables y cercano, comida fresca preparado para usted. De hecho comprender lo que 'no picante», y se donit tan picante como quieres cuando usted pide que (madras o incluso más! ). La comida es delicado y muy bien. Recomiendo encarecidamente el puré de gambas como aperitivo y pollo Tikka Buhna como plato principal. ¡Te encantará!

Unfortunately was 40 minutes late, but the guy at the restaurant did inform me that they were understaffed. Why has JustEat changed the system where restaurants good put their own delivery estimate to this vague 45 minutes one? Anyway, food was good, spicy and well spiced but a bit on the lukewarm side.

Lamb Bhuna size seems to be getting smaller.

We've been ordering take away from Swadesh on a biweekly (if not weekly) basis for over a year now. In that time the order was always right and every meal we had was absolutely sublime. We've tried other indian take-aways in the area but always went back to Swadesh as they would never even come close to the delicious food we get here. Great selection, good price, food was tasty and of decent quality if a touch greasy, LOTS of free extras. Delivery took about an hour which is not great but I guess it's fair enough for a Saturday night... They forgot my coke which I was not happy about but the delivery guy was very polite and apologised and said I'll get one free next time I order, and I will order again :)

Mi marido y yo tuvimos una comida de 2 platos por £19,50 preciosa cortesía de Tastecard Londres (una noche de sábado!! ). Realmente precioso, fresca comida todo seleccionado en el menú normal, no el típico 'tastecard limitada de opciones; menú se ofrecen normalmente. El camarero era amable y atento. Las porciones de comida no eran enormes, pero justo y los popadoms eran gratis, y teníamos unos pocos! Cuándo definatyely iremos de nuevo y se lo recomendaría a un amigo!!
