The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! The worst buffet I’ve ever been to. Came to Birmingham for Chinese new year. Googled Chinese buffet restaurants and came across this place. Upon entering the restaurant is was really busy and we had to wait around 30 minutes which I thought was a good sign and that you know the food wont be just sat under a heat lamp due to how busy the place was. We were charged £22.99 each for lunchtime. The food just didn’t look appetising. The utensil handles were sticky. The food didn’t taste that great either. The teppanyaki bar cooked the food soo salty. The deserts were disappointing. Upon leaving we decided to use the restroom and OH MY GOD I’ve never seen a restaurant restroom so disgusting. If I had of used it before eating I would have wanted to stay. Safe to say we won’t be returning.

The food was delivered early and it was delicious.

Absolute quality! Never had a bad meal from here, and we've been a customer since it first opened decades ago, when it used to be called 'Passage to India'. Food always delivered piping hot, tasty and plentiful. Please never change. Thank you so much.

Jamie Oliver you need to revisit this place or have some serious words as the whole experience was a shambles! There is no way I’d put my name to this restaurant and the food / service was something you would expect to receive at a motorway service station. Utter waste of time and money!

I recently visited this buffet restaurant, and I regret to say it was a complete disappointment. The food quality was extremely poor—most dishes were cold, overcooked, or tasted stale. Waist money and time with my family . I expected fresh and flavorful options, but instead, I found unappetizing and low-quality food. Unprofessional staff For the price I paid, I expected much better. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I will not be returning. I would not recommend this buffet restaurant to anyone.

It's nice inside. The food is ok. Pretty much what you'd expect from a big chain. A good place for families with a nice conservatory out back. If you're looking for a nice place to go in Greenwich you could find better.

We had a super meal at Dim T, everyone really enjoyed their meals, service was very good and the cost was reasonable. I will return to Dim T when I'm back in London.

Not happy - ordered over the phone 3x keema naans just Went to collect said cash only well how was I suppose to know card machine broken Expected me to go and get cash when I only had less than 30 mins for my break - I even offered bank transfer/paypal/come back and pay later when I finish however could not accept any of this So in the end I left the keema naans as I had no choice got a coffee and went back to work hungry Oh well never mind

Ok he estado aquí muchas veces y las comidas fantásticas vivimos en Escocia y venimos a Londres al menos un par de veces al año y nunca pasamos por este lugar nos encanta la comida! ¿Entonces qué salió mal? Pedimos un almuerzo razonablemente grande para este lugar para la mayoría de los estándares y la cuenta era de solo 80 libras esterlinas mucho para el almuerzo, pero este es uno de nuestros lugares ir también, sin embargo, a quemarropa se negaron a aceptar nuestras notas escocesas independientemente de la denominación de ellos 10 s 20 s 50 s! ¡Esto nos ha pasado antes en Londres, pero está en su rareza y me molesta la vida! Pensé que Gran Bretaña no era una gran Inglaterra y seguro que no sería aceptable rechazar las notas en inglés en Escocia después de aproximadamente 20 visitas, no volveremos y seríamos llamados racistas si hiciéramos lo mismo, esto es lo que está mal con nuestro país.

Nunca fuimos antes este lugar hizo pero aparentemente no es mucho mejor y más grande por dentro ahora mismo:) que es buena causa era tan popular, así que necesitaba todo el espacio extra. El servicio era un poco lento con la comida que lleva unos 45 minutos, pero no nos importó, ya que era un sábado por la noche y muy concurrido. No íbamos a quejarse, pero nos dieron una bebida gratis a todos decir lo siento. Lo que fue un detalle muy bonito. Y todo el personal era demasiado amable y estaban dispuestos a ir la milla extra.

Ridiculously poor service. Not busy yet staff messing around while customers ignored (3 parties waited by door for table and walked out when ignored).

Weird, really unfriendly staff. I’ve loved Indian food for 40 years plus, in that time I’ve never had starter and main brought together, draught beer replaced by a bottle. Just weird as if it’s eat pay go, I wouldn’t recommend and in reality I should have gone to the one round the corner which was busy. That said food was actually OK, though I didn’t actually get what I ordered.

He comido aquí de 1 a 2 veces al año en promedio durante la última década. Las primeras visitas fueron memorables: platos de calidad y excelente relación calidad-precio. Con el tiempo, y alrededor de antes del Covid, se sintió como si la calidad comenzara a disminuir. Dicho esto, la época extraña, me sorprenden con un plato que retoma los primeros días. Es una opción casual sólida que no quebrará el banco, y se irá sintiéndose satisfecho la mayor parte del tiempo si selecciona los platos adecuados.

We came across this Korean restaurant in the Holborn area just as our stomachs started growling after a full day of sightseeing. Accessed by a staircase at street level, the restaurant occupied the basement of the building above. Our initial impressions were good, helped no doubt by the slightly dim lighting which offered a touch of anticipation. Alas, the food did not quite meet up with our lofty expectations. Don't get me wrong - it was quite tasty, and Korean food is usually deceptively filling. Between the four of us, we had several stews, and hot plates of chicken and beef, all of which came with an accompaniment of unpolished rice (a nice healthier touch). Although reasonably satisfying, the food wasn't going too much to write home about. Service was average at best, and prices were a little on the high side for the size of the portions, but then, restaurant prices in London are on the high side in general.
