Staff and management are amazing, really friendly and welcoming. Always attentive as my partner uses a wheelchair so it can be difficult at times but never feel like a bother to the staff at all. Food is amazing and new dishes are very tasty.

Yo! Sushi may have a cool conveyor belt setup, but my recent visit was underwhelming. The team seemed too caught up chatting to seat us promptly or offer proper service. We ended up just grabbing plates from the belt because no one came to take our order for drinks or off-menu items. Even getting the bill was a hassle, as we had to ask three times. Honestly, you might find it less annoying to just pick up some sushi from a supermarket. Cost me £45, absolute garbage.

No online bookings so half an hour wait outside. Once seated told to book with the waiter who then walked off without taking any food/drink order. Finally got the attention of another member of staff after around 10 minutes and ordered, asked for chopsticks to be told sorry they need washing. Half of the dishes were missing and had to ask multiple times for them. Very poor service at this yo sushi unfortunately, I had visited previously and service was better but this was some time ago and different staff. The qr code seemed to be a better service option. Food was nice once we got it.

My experience of this yo sushi started out abit hostile as a very nice person was about to seat us but one member of staff came out the back and very rudely asked us "where you going" which we replyed to our seat then he very rudely again said your table isnt ready can you wait over there. Which then a nice young lady came back to us when she notice we didnt follow her to the table and sat us down. Food was excellent and service after that was better. The rude member of staff had a very cant be bothered attitude not a nice person at all.

Previous visit was genuinely terrible and I gave 1/5 and said I wouldn't go back. Well, I went back and have to give 4/5! Unlike previous visit(s), there were lots of staff preparing the dishes, lots of staff waiting tables and the belt was full - and it was not full of prawn crackers as happened last time. We asked for a booth but would have to wait, so accepted bar seats. We were seated at the top end and facing us at the end of the staff area were two seated people who were clearly (to us anyway) 'off duty' staff members (one wore a Yo Sushi logo top). They spent the duration of our meal on laptops talking business and it really seemed to us that their presence (visiting management?) was the reason for our food arriving very quickly and freshest ever etc. Amazing!! Hope they are there when we go in future! However we had the same issues with WiFi and were told as ever to order through the App. One of our group had noticed in advance that weekdays in January you could get 3 dishes for £9.95 but we were not told this in the restaurant and there was nothing at our seat to draw attention to this. We asked the waiter and he gave us a menu for this (extensive) but you could not order this through the App, so we then ordered from him and didn't use the App. So, if using the App to order as told to, the 3 for £9.95 offer is somehow 'difficult'. Don't bother with the App would be my advice. Seemed like the offer was being concealed and it gave a massive saving - some dishes on it were individually priced at £7-8 and you got three for £9.95.

Half of the menu unavailable, the food served was ridiculously salty, we were the only table left and the servers were showing us their back while laughing with the Kitchen staff, making impossible to call them. We wanted to ask for desserts, but they came with the bill and the card machine already set even though there was 1 hour left before closing. The quality of the food was rushed and it was also very expensive for what we have been given. We won’t show our face again in this place.

Waited ages to be seated. Little attention from staff. Filthy/ broken bathrooms. A rubbish dining experience. I think they assume that everyone wants to stare at their screens and order through an app too, so staff aren't actually checking in on anyone (and the style of food usually requires more than one order to be taken). Even took the time to email in, as Yo used to be a favourite of ours, but just got a bog standard automatic response.

the food was nice but it was extremely time consuming to place the order on the app and not really customer friendly as you are making the customer work unnecessarily hard to place an order. taking a verbal order is easier for the customer and more customer friendly. it probably took more than 5 minutes to log in finally when this could have been finished in a=hardly 1 minute.

Love Sushi and enjoy going to Yo! Sushi, this was the first time I had been to the Cheshire Oaks branch. Went for lunch and was shown to a seat facing the kitchen. Once we had sat down we had to get someone's attention for cutlery, they only provided a knife and fork, we then had to get chopsticks, soya sauce bowl and napkins ourselves. First time i have used the app and the phone signal wasn't great so went on to the free wifi which was extremely poor and struggled for some time with it, ended up using a neighbouring stores app to order food. Felt the selection on the belt was poor but everything ordered from the app came quickly and was really nice, no faults with the food, wifi needs boosting as reading reviews this seems a common issue

Myself and my partner visited for my birthday recently as we were due to stay in Chester city centre. We love Yo sushi and this is our closest restaurant to where we live in North Wales. It’s always a fab visit- the restaurant is always clean and tidy, the food delicious and it looks like the staff enjoy working there too which is nice to see. The atmosphere is relaxed but intimate and it’s nice to be able to order with a waiter/ waitress/ waiting on person as well as on the app. My personal favourite is the Katsu chicken bowl and the teriyaki beef but it’s nice to be able to try multiple different styles of Asian inspired dishes and sushi!

We often go to Yo Sushi as a treat. Mum and I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful even with us struggling a bit with the technology (user error not software error). It's a great place to stop for refreshment when you are visiting Cheshire Oaks.

I was drawn in by an offer on an A board outside. Got seated and was told I had to order online. By the time I got on the internet and got the app working I was getting hungry. Looking on the app I could not find the offer I had come in for so I asked where to find it. Although it was not mentioned on the advert the offer was not available for those seated in the restaurant.When we did get fed the food was well cooked and tasty but too much hassle to go back again

It was a hassle ordering. The wifi was really bad and the website kept breaking down so I had to keep going back to do it again and hope that I reach the payment section without it breaking down again. Was very annoying

The food wasn’t fit for eating. As soon as I opened the box the smell of cigarette smoke hit me. Still gave it a try in case it was my imagination but no, the food tasted like the chef smoked a cigarette while cooking it and used my food as an ashtray. My partners food was half full, dry, and also tasted smoky. Both boxes of food went into the bin, absolute waste of money.

Not what I expected when ordering a curry just did not Taste like a curry at all rice was cold and felt over cooked or re cooked curry was so sweet? Naan was soggy just not a pleasant meal left rather disappointed unfortunately

Had a Fabulous meal again..food is superb quality...and very reasonably priced too. Bread is freshly made and tastes amazing. I had the chicken shashlik and taste awesome... Mixed kebab starter, others had chicken chatt... Service.is just so friendly and always get a warm welcome..

This is a rare occasion but- Wanting a treat for us on a friday night after a hard weeks work—- we ordered some food from the Greenbank balti, as it is local etc…etc.. I really wish to support local business BUT this was a truly low quality meal - not really much to recommend it - low points were boot leather Lamb in a lamb tikka Jali bhutan, which was utterly awful and inedible———but overall the meal was rather mean in portions and lacking in a sense of love. I had chicken tikka which was okay and i would give a 2.5/3 ( as I was hungry) as I would the tarka dhall and cauliflower bhaji. The chicken was warm and not too dried out but as a food lover it lacked flavour and the pathia source was too sweet…. Particularly the lamb tikka was not chilli hot. We love food and would love to support local business’s. …. any ways not a good experience and unless something is radically different we wont be back- Sadly AM
