Ordered... didn't arrive no calls being answered ruined a birthday evening in.

Amazing Curry’s highly recommend. Have ordered at least 5 times and never disappointed!

Dansak was tasteless, Madras just tasted of oil, naan bread was undercooked, but the mixed starter was good.

Do not order from here. This is last nights takeaway that my son ordered and when they phoned to complain they told him they were closing and nothing they could do. The chicken was raw. Terrible service and waste of money.

I don’t know where to start so firstly we waiting 1hr 45 for this to come which was over the estimated time, we then had a notification saying ‘enjoy your food’ when we had not received wI called the restaurant and the gentleman on the phone was rude and abrupt. Lastly we received the food and it was inedible the chicken was RAW

Tasty curry (the Ceylon is HOT). Missing a cauliflower bahji and replaced with some strange veggie dish. Naan bread crispy. Overall OK.

Hiya, Right so how shall I start, I ordered through just eat originally, which was accepted and how I ordered which was for myself (so for one person) I ordered three starters. So unfortunately my order was cancelled for which I had received no reason, it was a little after 21.00 hrs and with the shop being open till 22.30 hrs I can only suggest that my order was a little below them . Sorry guys but you let me down tonight, even though my order was three starters it was still below the minimum amount to qualify. My cash will be well spent elsewhere 👌

Ordered by phone at 6.50pm. 2 meals arrived at 7.10pm. Piping hot. My Balti exotica was superb, as was my wife's Vegie Jalfrezi. Excellent. Really enjoyed.

They had forgot to put popadom in the bag. Not as much flavour as normal and the rice was a bit greasy

Ordered 2 biryanis, it was bland and flavourless. They were so sad that it gave me depression. It also came with vegetable curries which were definitely out of date and smelled a bit. And it wasn't the cheapest as well.

Excellent quality of food and orders are quick too. The menu selection is excellent and diverse, everything tastes great, looks and smells divine and is always HOT as well, no cold food here. Have lived in the area for a while and so glad I've stated to get food from here. Can't recommend enough and good prices too. Keep up the great work!

Few items missing. Portions have got much smaller than they used to be. Quite underwhelmed on the whole, which is such a shame as it used to be my "go to" Indian takeaway.

Really great food, consistent quality, good choice, lovely taste. It's hard to find a quality Indian/South Asian takeaway, these guys really do a fantastic job, repeat customer and still very happy! (Try the Ceylon, it's beautiful!)

The food is definitely not Indian. No chicken curry in Indian cuisine is sweet. Food doesn’t have to be spicy to taste good but you can’t make everything sweet. Also, there is a lot of food coloring in the food. Tasteless and disappointing!! Complete waste of money.

Pre-Ordered for delivery @ 6pm. Order arrived right on time. Food was piping hot (including onion bhaji, naan bread and curry). Possibly the best peshwari naan I have ever had!!! Ordered the butter chicken, very tasty, rich, thick sauce and chicken cooked well. All round a cracking experience. Would recommend

The delivery driver was the nicest guy going; efficient and polite! The food arrived and we were missing a dish we had ordered - this was rectified and the delivery driver apologised and redelivered the dish very quickly! The problems start when you receive the food and begin to eat….. the chicken was chewy, it could even be described as hard! The sauces were bland and cold and it was just not edible. I hope this is a one-off for poor quality because other reviews seem very positive!

The food arrived quicker than expected! Only negative is that butter chicken was grainy and had coconut in which was not mentioned on the description.

Arrived in good time but cold and the butter chicken we ordered was basically watered down tikka masala. No flavour what so ever and chicken wasn’t of good quality- very chewy. We tried it and had no choice but to throw the full meal.

Absolutely shocking. Raw chicken, Cold rice, stale papadums. Online order delivered within 10 minutes was the first red flag. Avoid this place, dangerous food and packaged as if it was cooked today.. avoid , avoid, avoid!!!! Terrible!!

Both the curry and Aloo Gobi were really watery. The spices aren’t as strong as they could’ve been. The restaurant did update each step of the delivery which is rare. The delivery man was polite and on time.

Food wasn't very hot and it took 2 hours to arrive, wasn't happy with it an we usually are.

The guys at Salma are always really helpful and the food is top drawer. They sorted out the order even though there was a problem with the delivery address and it was delicious as ever. Best Indian takeaway in the city. 5 stars.

I ordered a nann bread but didn't get it

We placed a huge order and it was ready in 20 minutes - bang on when they said! Staff were lovely and you could see their preparation space - fresh ingredients, freshly prepared. Already looking forward to the next one!

I don’t Trip Advise much, but had to make an effort today. It’s my girlfriends birthday, having a quiet takeaway with her, her sister and a few friends. Easy ordering so her sister did it on her phone. We’d only had one drink, couldn’t get it wrong surly. Well, we waited AGES for it. Completely out of character for the place as we Oder from here regularly. Ok, it’s Friday, maybe everyone’s having their birthday this weekend?? Nahh, her sister’s only gone and ordered it to her house 4 mile away eh! The delivery driver was knocking for 20 minutes solid and ring her phone. Turns out, her sister is on the sick so has her phone to divert!! Anyway, we get hold of the driver and apologies profusely. Less than 5 minutes later he turns up with a massive smile, and we have a laugh about it at the door. The bloke is a credit to an already creditable takeaway. Lovely chap and we gave a small tip (he deserved bigger, I was not in charge of tips!!) the order was perfect, nothing missing and was still hot (not piping hot but it had been sat in a car for at least 30 minutes). It was delicious as always, very filling and I’ve nothing bad to say about the place. The only thing the driver asked was we leave an honest review, and I thought that’s the least we could do. Service excellent, food excellent, experience excellent. If I could leave the review on just eat too I would but I’ll have to leave that up to her sister, who will probably review the wrong restaurant in a city 200 miles away!! So I thought I’d leave a review just incase.

Absolutely gorgeous food from Salma grill tonight, really impressed. I gave the wrong address but they brought brought it to the right address straight away. Really recommend this takeaway and will order from it again

Delivery was late. Items were missing. Member of staff on the phone was extremely rude, refused delivering missing items or refund and put the phone down. Worst Indian takeaway we have ever had. AVOID!!!

The starters weren't very good but the meal was lovely.

First order from here. Food was quality, we was very impressed with how well it was cooked and the condition of when it arrived after being delivered. Not one complaint.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn South at the weekend, ordered from Salma as it had some good reviews. Ordered early on in the England V Italy Euro final and it came at half time, earlier than advised. Food was delicious. I'm not likely to need to use them again, but highly recommend!

Food is always absolutely superb from Salma Grill. Tasty hot food delivered promptly and courteously by very friendly staff. Keep up the good work, guys, can’t fault it in the slightest.

On returning home one of the items ordered was missing. A bit disappointing. Food was nice. Just eat asking for restaurant service rating, bit this is a take away establishment?

Delivery man didn’t pull the order from an insulated bag it was just in the back of his car. Food was only warm when we received it.

No problem about late delivery as this depends of traffic and the driver called me to explain. Excellent Naan bread, curry sauce, rice and prawn starter, but the lamb was chewy and impossible to eat unfortunately. I'll stay with the prawns in the future for sure

Nearly didn’t get my dinner as I was sorting my 2 year old out for bed and didn’t hear the door or phone as they were 30-40 mins early. Not necessarily a terrible thing being early, but nevertheless was unexpected.

Tasty food, fairly priced, generous portions. Order by phone and collect if you can to avoid the lottery of delivery drivers.

Always amazing food and service

Ordered online at 5.10pm. App said would be delivered at 6.10pm. 6.50pm it still hasn't arrived. Called the takeaway to be told my order was on the way even though they hadn't asked my address to check! Clearly just making it up! She then said "we're just busy". No attempt to apologise which I queried and she just said "thanks. Bye". Shocking service. Something similar happened last time I ordered. This place used to be so good. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. Shame.

Food was good but it turned up nearly cold.

Curry was far too spicy, despite ringing and asking for it too be mild. The other curry hardly had any flavour to it .
