I absolutely love the food from the Greenbank Balti, Everytime I've ordered it's been delicious, my go to take-away

Best Indian takeaway in the area we get the set meal for two and the staff are always happy to amend one of the curry's for us. Food is always stunning and full of flavour we will continue to use in the future

Easy to order via the web site. Food was hot and arrived on time. Everything was very well cooked and tasty. Some of the nicest authentic indian / Bangladeshi food I have tasted. Excellent! 5 Stars! Edit: Over a year later and Greenbank Balti is still our "go to" for Indian/Bangladeshi food. Top marks for consistency and a big thanks to their delivery team who are always cheerful and pleasant when dropping off the order. Also top marks for their Web Site & IT which has always performed well with orders and updates.

Had a big order and delivery for our works Christmas party at owley wood club in Weaverham. Food was absolutely fantastic, delivery bang on time, curries so tasty, highly recommend this restaurant, thank you greenbank balti we will be ordering again 👍🏻

Ordered food at 6:30, said delivery was 7:55, which we thought was quite a while, but was doable. However by 8:16 the food still hadn’t arrived so we rang the restaurant, where they assured us it had just left to be delivered. By 8:55 it was an hour late, so I rang again, where they said it was close and they would give us a discount, which we found acceptable. When the food eventually arrived it tasted pleasant, however I then found a long bleach blonde hair in the food, when none of us have this type of hair. So safe to say we will not be returning and definitely don’t recommend.

Loved the takeaway service not very late

I phoned at 16:35 and asked for my food to be delivered for 19:00, it turned at 20:10 after 2 calls asking where it was, usual bull, "the driver left 20 minutes ago" When I got the food it was cold, I phoned and complained and they didn't care. What they do is deliver all the food to Kingsmead in one delivery irrespective of what time you ordered it for, and they have have the arrogance to charge for delivery. I won't be going back to Greenbank Balti and hopefully others will stop too, then let's see if their arrogant attitude will change then

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is not the first time we have had issues with this company and our food being cold or having the wrong food delivered. Tonight I rang up after waiting a long time for our food to be delivered as it turned up freezing cold. When I say freezing cold I mean freezing it was as if my onion bhaji hadn’t even been cooked. I called and was passed around a number of people and told that when the food left it was warm so what was the problem. We will not be using this company again. Customer service is terrible. They asked me for a picture of my cold food so they could see if. Have you ever heard anything so silly. A picture of my cold food. Why were they excepting icicles on it? Don’t us this company.

Regular customers…Ordered my food over the phone, not only was it 1 hr late but it was cold, the sauce to our masala was watery and the chips were soggy and cold too? I’m confused because we use your take away regularly! Won’t be coming back again absolutely gutted! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I think it's the best takeaway in Northwich. Counter staff and cooks friendly and helpful. If you like your curry in a particular way, ask and I'm sure they will try to satisfy you.

We have been ordering deliveries from Greenbank Balti for some time now and have never been disappointed. They have a large and varied menu which caters for all tastes and their portions are more than adequate. Their use of spices is very authentic and their chefs are obviously well trained. We will certainly continue to order from them.

Though I have lived in northwich for a long time, I have never ordered from Green Bank Balti before. I am not a person who usually leaves reviews but I must admit being an Indian , it was one of the best lamb biriyani I have ever had. I felt I have to leave a review. You have earned a regular customer ! Hats off to the chef.

Food good although a bit one pot. Ordered a Makani on one occasion and butter chicken another and got the same dish. When queried was told its basically same dish. Best to go in and order as ringing ahead doesn't work, hadnto wait 45 minutes after ringing ahead. Prepare for a wait, but it's a testament to the good food.

We bought a mixed kebab and chicken kebab and they were both excellent! I live in Manchester and they easily matched up to the kebab shops there! The garlic and coriander nans were very tasty too 👍

Always great curry and such a range. My nephew (2) loved his chicken nuggets, rice, popardom and Nan bread as well. Well worth trying out.

We've just had a delicious takeaway from here and couldn't fault a thing. Friday early evening, the busiest time of the week, and yet the food arrived piping hot within 45 minutes. Highly recommended.

Very good quality Indian take away with a wide choice of specials as well as the more standard offerings. I would evaluate better than any of the local sit down restaurants for the authenticity of their dishes. Lamb saagwala is excellent

Busy local takeaway: forgive them if your delivery is a bit late, this crew work flat out. Great rice, I'm vegetarian so favour those meals... Always very tasty and hit the spot for depth of flavour.

Got a delivery at the caravan park that were staying..had set meal for 2..tandoori Balti and some breadsI gave delivery instructions cos this place is hard to find especially in pitch dark..after a little multiple exchanges on the phone they found us the driver was apologetic and great..some would have given upFood was generally very tasty and some good heat ..naan was ok but I think it was a roti that didn't travel well..nice portions and lots of padpads..the tandori butter balti was was the weakest dish in our opinion.

Naan bread was missed off, waited longer for delivery (which was paid for) than what they said bearing in mind it was a Monday night and only 1 pot of yoghurt sauce with 4 poppadoms when others were ordered.

Not Great, the curry was OK, but only OK. The poppadoms are inedible, stale, spongy and generally as unappetizing as a poppadom could be, The poppadom, starter and sauces went in the bin, very expensive for an average Curry and a Full Bin! I really do not recommend!. Not really a surprise, but the Contact Us area of their website does not work!

We hadn’t been here for a while and had always been satisfied, but on Monday a couple of weeks ago my husband and I ordered 2 different dishes which were meant to be average spice, but they were both awful. You couldn’t taste anything it was so hot and couldn’t eat it. It definitely wasn’t what we ordered . I have just written this review because I have just spoken to someone who visited on Saturday and ordered 2 different dishes, but they felt they had received the same and said it had no taste at all.

Had my first meal Tonight from green bank, had a vindaloo and it was spot on, igsactly how it should be. so happy to finally find a decent Indian takeaway that can make what you ask for after trying numerous around the area over the last year. Thanks guys will definitely be back but will try a phal next. Top marks

Been going to GB for years and when I moved to chester I missed it. Quality food for the price. Very friendly helpful staff. If you have not eaten from here then you should. Recommend it anytime. Moved back to Northwich recently and enjoyed another meal from here. Still awesome. Award winning takeaway. Try it!!

Order from here frequently, however tonight I chose this for my birthday meal took a long time to arrive, starter lovely, poppadoms stale and chewy, main chicken grizzly I orderd Medium and to me tasted mild, also asked for no fresh coriander and there was fresh corridor in the sauce just not on top

Delivery very late, food cold and not very good!

Absolutely astounded at the poor quality waited an 1hr and 40 minutes for cold food and a cold burnt lump of onion and sad I have recommended this place to my friends over the years thank guys

I live nearby and can state categorically that this is the best of all the take-aways in Northwich. I always order from here and whatever I choose is always first class. The staff are friendly and the delivery is efficient, although I tend to call in as I live close by.

Seriousley ur food is really nice but i have t say i could never order from u again the reason being ur poppadoms were stale all three of the four of my family agreed They r the basics who ever is your head chef and think its ok to serve the jo public with simple food and get away with it is stupid. I spend on average £20 a week on takeaway a week thats £1040 pound a year. Shame really my brother in law knows his indian and recommended u all but i have t say u have all failed with simple poppadons. More importantantly lets see if u reply with my comments.

Been going here for over 5 years and tried most of the places in the area. This is one of the best ones and for a place that delivers cannot be beaten. The curry is always good quality, the sauces have loads of flavour. Delivery times can be high but always worth the wait.Do yourself a favour and try the Lazeeze Exotica (Hot) not overly hot but great value and incredibly tasty.

I have visited many many “indian” restaurants, Balti houses and takeaways and this continues to be the place cooking the best curries I have ever tasted. The menu range is great, the flavours subtle and the chicken in particular is succulent .Meals are always freshly prepared and the open kitchen is great. I have been using the place since it opened and have never been disappointed but was moved to write this review after last night’s meal which was outstanding.

I like to use my local takeaways and this is one of my favourites. Food is always delicious and hot, the Balti is my favourite with garlic naam. Only down side is that they don’t take cards so cash only but I still love their food.

Had food from here a couple of times now and it’s incredible. The curries all have their own unique flavour and don’t all taste the same, as it is often from others. Quick delivery even on a Saturday evening. Defiantly the takeaway of choice!

So disappointed, great starters however , both main courses laden with garlic salt, had many takeaways from here and have , for the past few months been tasty, but this evening we had to put both main courses , tikka masala and rogan josh, in the bin, I rang and told them , but was shrugged off, not an offer for another meal or discount off our next meal, or even taken that seriously, won’t be ordering from them again.. I’m off to drink 10 pints of water even though I only had 2 mouthfuls of my main course, total waste of money

WOW... Just had my first meal from this takeaway. Simply the BEST Chicken Tikka Masala I have EVER had. Naan bread was very good. Chips were fries as I anticipated and we're OK - that isn't a criticism I'm just not a fan of fries. I WILL BE BACK. I've lived in Northwich for nearly 4 years and have travelled to Winsford to use my regular haunt for an Indian but won't be doing so again!

We have been to a lot of Indian takeaways and restaurants but none even come close to this place! The food is always perfect. Hot, tasty, and always met at the door with a smile, and the order is always correct, sometimes with a little free extra which we love. Collecting from here you can see how clean and tidy everywhere is. If having a delivery it’s normally around an hour wait but it’s DEFINITELY worth it! We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I no longer live in the area but I have used Greenbank Balti for a number of years and I have found Greenbank Balti Curries to be of exceptional quality and I still order when I am visiting Family. Due to sheer volume due to its popularity deivery can sometimes take a while but that is a minor negative and the quality of the curries far outweigh the occasional delay during busy periods. Do not hesitate in ordering a takeaway if your passing or live local. Freindly staff who are always helpfull and prices that are not extortinate.

I usually order from another local Indian restaurant/takeaway in Northwich however based upon recommendations i decided to give Greenbank Balti a try. This was a mistake! We ordered our food at just after 6pm, we were told that they were busy and that delivery would be within 1hr- 1hr 20min we were fine with this.

Our food arrived 2 hours late, we have a few items missing then when we called up, the man on the phone was rude and hung up on us twice. It was a further hour wait, before we finally got all the items we ordered (and even then we were one rice short). Adding insult to injury two of our party the following day had food poisoning. Worst take away in northwich.

One of the best curry house in northwich no doubt about it. Bangladeshi cuisine They have a various types off dishes available. Always something new to try. Their chicken tikka massala tastes amazing. Very flavourful and sweet great for someone that likes mild curry. Must try the speciality dishes some a very unique which you will not find at any other curry house. Their chuntnies and dips are to die for never had something like this before. Food is very well priced. Can get a set meal for two for around £20. Can pre-order your food online or over the phone. Saves time waiting. I will recommend collecting the food in person as delivery can take over an hour on busy nights. Collection is usally ready in 25-35 minutes. Also they always give free popadoms, onion baji or vegetable side dish over £10 order on collection. Staff are veryfriendly and polite. Always helping you pick a dish to your liking. Its sad to see people leaving fake review's to put the business down. I have had food from the British raj down the road but nothing compares to Green Bank Balti.

Not a fan of Northwich curry houses, sometimes good and other times awful. Thought I’d try this place for a takeaway as not been for years. Glad I did..... the mixed tandoori starter was really good. Well cooked and spiced beautifully. The main course of Rezalla chicken was a bit spicey but still good... the mint yoghurt and onions that came with poppadoms really good too. Reasonably priced and much more flavourful then the restaurants in castle

Rubbish. We were told it would take an hour to arrive, took 2 hours and when food arrived it was cold. Curry was too salty to the point where we were all avoiding the sauce completely and wasted a good half of each meal. Shame as used to be our favourite takeaway.

Amazing food great chefs. And I have to admit. I left my wallet in there a few years back. I'd just been the cash machine and had £350 in it. Any way went home wounderd we're my wallet was thort nothing off it. And around 11.30 to 12pm a car arrived at my mum's address I went out walked down the drive was very suspicious cuz of the time. Any how it was only the guys from greenback balti with my wallet and all the cash I got £40 out and said thank you they didn't accept It after me saying I didn't want it back. So not only the best curry in Cheshire but exceptional people thanks again

absolutely disgusting to be fully honest, I've had explosive dioharea for the past few days. it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. it was unhygienic and i even found a long black hair in my chicken korma. just terrible it was very overpriced. it cost me over £18 for just one meal. i do not recommend, i wouldn't even feed it to my dog.

food was terrible gave me food poisoning and I had really bad diareeha I was on the toilet for about 6 hours after the chicken korma also the customer service was really bad one of the delivery men said really offensive words to me at my door and it was very over price for two meals it came to £59.73 and there was some form of flying insect in my meal
