After a disappointing previous visit. This was a much better visit for a business meal. At least we did not wait ages for the meal to arrive. The lamb chops were good but I still think feel the mains could be better and is not better than it used to be.

We heard it under new management thought we would try it again it’s got new chefs and has a new menu which is good coz it’s reasonably priced, the food was Excellent with great portion sizes. The prices are reasonable, especially for Whitefield area. We waited about 10 minutes for a table with no reservation at 8pm. Friendly staff, great food. You won't regret it.

Visited after visiting Heaton Park for a festival late on a Sunday night. Staff were really friendly. Service was good and food decent. Only sight niggle is i like pineapple in a Dhansak and there wasn't any in this, but a small thing to moan about. The Mrs had a mixed balti which she enjoyed rice and naan both good. Also some mocktails going out to other tables that looked interesting. Portions sizes good. Would return if we were nearby

I went to the restaurant last night one hour before the meal was booked for my friends birthday which she intially booked back in October. I wanted to surprise her with balloon n banner decorations upon arrival the restaurant seemed quiet and u discovered inside they were hav renovation work and a sign saying under new management. I could see on the bar area a book which had my friends contact details in and the time and date out table was booked for. I could see a light on upstairs so went up but to my surprise they was a private birthday function on I went back into the restaurant and found a youn girl who apoligised and said my friend should hav received a phonecall to advise it was shut over two weeks ago. I explained my friend didn't get this call and she called the manager who came to see me andagain apoligised and said sorry his staff hadn't phoned us to advise. As only a hour before we was due to come I had to break the news to my best friend who was extremely upset and we had to make other phonecalls to dine elswhere. There was no explanation or sincere apoligies and think this is bad customer service. My friend should get some kind of proper explanation and get some kind of compensation as in the end we paid out more taxi fares and more expense on phonecalls trying to eat elsewhere. I my self or my two friends will never dine here once it re-opens...

It also says on your facebook page you re- open on nov the 4th, but clearly your not. Piss poor management and not even a phoncall too say sorry for your mess up- ruined my birthday as everywhere was booked, will never book with you again or eat here!

I have been here a few times. It looks like this branch is going downhill. The place was not busy but the food took ages to arrive, I think we waited over 30 minutes for the starters to arrive. I thought the mains was just about average. They serve no desserts, they also did not have them the last time I ate here. The restaurant seems understaffed and lets down the franchise name.

I'd probably never visit this branch again unless friends organise a meal here as in this occasion.Previous visits have been poor to average. This was the worst.I and another customer entered. As we awaited at the reception no one greeted us. After waiting a few minutes there was an eerie silence as we nipped around each corner to show ourselves. We both returned with puzzled expressions. Anyway never mind we entered and I grabbed the attention of a waiter and found my table with 2 friends already seated. As the waiter was walking away I halted him to serve the gentleman that had entered the restaurant with me!Lamb chops ordered as a friend had to leave early. Quite tasty. Rest of the fellas arrived. Surprisingly their chops weren't as tasty but not bad. The dish I required couldn't be done / prepared! Opted for a lamb dish which didn't taste like lamb. Unsurprisingly the waiter didn't ask how was your food? The garlic and coriander naan was very good. The service was shockingly appalling.I will definitely stick to the two branches in Manchester city.

First time visiting this restaurant with friends who recommended it .We went early evening when it was fairly quiet and service was slow for no apparent reason.Within the hour 3 large parties had arrived which meant service got slower still as the staff were serving them a lot more. This is an area that does need improving as there is no excuse for slow service during the week when it was quiet. Now to the good things about this place, the food is beautifully cooked and presented.I sampled the lamb shishlik which was a generous portion to say the least. My friends food was also very nicely cooked and presented,so first rate food but service could be improved.

Dined for my partners 55th birthday meal. We started off with the cocktails I got the mojito and it is definitely up there with any bar in manchester. Next I tried the Mix grill, the portion was definitely too big for just myself but i finished it off surprisingly, Very tasty! We were a table of 10 so mix and matched with the curries, from chicken to seafood. Everything from start to finish was a TREAT! We then had to wait a further 30 minutes for our starters, every one of which was cold and then we found a grasshopper on my nephews meal!! An actual grasshopper! The poppadoms were also stale. Visited the restaurant Friday night around 6 so not busy at all. Went straight for a main course. I had the lamb chops from the grill. The menu said served with pilau rice or chips. I asked for Pilau Rice. When the manins co.e they had doubled us up on the rice then charged us. Obviously the waiter didn't have a clue. It said chips or rice. This should be basic. I didn't argue as I just cant deal with idiotic people. Asked for the dessert menu. The waiter returned we dont have any desserts as we are waiting on a delivery. What.... No desserts. Go to Costco or Morrisons and buy some then. Never ever heard of this in my life. Sometimes if it's late a restaurant may say we have run out of the cheesecake or chocolate cake etc. But no desserts but 15 waiters. One of them should have gone the shop. The lamb chops were gorgeous so couldn't have rated them lower. But come on sort these basic errors out.

That’s it - had it with this place. Been getting takeaways from here ever since it first opened. After a few years the food started to deteriorate we decided to give it a miss for a few months. Tried again a few weeks ago the food was right back up there. Well we called in last week, picked up a takeaway, got it home, we could tell just by looking at it, different colour for a start, bland just horrible, even the pickle tray looked mushy, that went right into the bin after tasting the grey onion concoction. The curry was the worst we have ever had, what was left the following day was actually completely set in the tray, awful - did we ring, complain - no - what’s the point we certainly didn’t want another - so hasta la vista - EastzEast - two strikes you are out ...

Visited this evening with some friends and unfortunately the experience was poor. The food was way below par, side salad was just red onion pretty much, garlic naan was bland, lamb chops were super fatty and chewy, the Pinot Grigio was awful and undrinkable and the rest of the meal was pretty average. Our server was great and this review is no reflection on him as we fed back our experience to him several times and he did his best to rectify. When it came to the bill we asked to speak to the manager when our server went away to get him and he came back saying the manager “was busy” even though we were one of around 3 tables that were occupied at the time. Eventually the manage came over to speak to us, more or less said it was our fault because we didn’t tell him about the problems earlier even though we mentioned some to the server and then knocked a small amount off the bill (which wasn’t what we wanted as we asked to pay the full bill in the 1st place). It seems that these guys don’t want feedback from customers and just want you in and out ASAP while serving average/poor food and poor drinks. This is a huge shame as we eat out a lot and live in Whitefield but unfortunately we won’t be back again

After visiting deansgate branch I thought this would be a good experience for my family.. Although there was no doorman dressed in Punjabi clothes but there were 2 young ladies dressed in traditional clothes.. It was a Friday evening a week after I tried the deansgate one.. I was informed there could be a 15 minuites wait for our table which was no bother we tried out the cocktails and mocktails the strawberry dream and sex on the beach should do the job for everyone..once we were seated we had 6 popadoms accompanied by a pickle tray.. I asked a gentleman in a very prestigious suit if we could get some extra mango with a blink of an eye it was there.. Truly amazing.. This time round I tried the 1/2 tandoori chicken the misses tried the seabass tandoori and the kids the lamb chops shashlick and a chicken tikka makhani.. The flavours were perfect the balance of salt to the dish every inch of each dish was splendid. The staff were nice and lively but serious the atmosphere was really good great choice of Indian music, excellent decor excellent staff and marvellous food what more could you ask for? I and my wife thought after some year's of never going out together as simply no time, we'd treat ourselves. We read reviews as regard this place, so thought why not, plus it was a birthday treat for my wife.Booked at 5pm and arrived to what seemed a nice pleasant calming looking interior, no worries here then.Lady who greets at front door had the false same olde different day, same olde .... looking on her with a fake false smile.I thought it be just her personality alone that would ruin our experience, so was took to our table and as waiting, i notice a woodlouse merely making it's way across the floor.I picked up napkip and picked it up not to make a fuss infront of other customer and handed it to another chap whom was polite.Approx a minute later we were greeted by a pleasant chap by name of Ali.but to look at someone whilst speaking, whom's personal hygiene was not the best, brown rotting teeth, was not appealing.I tried my best to continue for my wife.Poppadom's arrived and the sauces in the basket they provide. All round the inner side of the basket was old remains of the food and sauce remains in the gap's of the basket, and what seem'd like thin spider webbing, this put me off, thou my wife said, well at least the sauce pots are clean? The table had ring stains from old glasses etc, bear in mind we are here when they just opened, so i assume these are from previous day.The chrome stand of the table was filthy.I really wanted to walk out, but wife would had been not best happy. Our samsosa's arrived, yes 2 tiniest things i had ever seen for £3.50.We have pakistani neighbours and the wife makes stunning samsosa's compared to these, which did nothing.During this, the waiter was continuously walking up and down looking at us eat, this was annoying me alot, along with him continuously sniffling which i assumed he had a cold.Even some occasions stood to the direct left of me within 3 foot distance.I was getting warm to say the least. Then the main came, tikka massala with naanOh my days, it was tasteless, watery, nothing like a tikka massla at all and i have had a fair few from different places, this was the worst FACT.The rice was stodgy, nothing like pilau rice, again no flavour.Only thing with flavour were the naan, that is what made me continue.Again during this, the waiter would simply not jog on and leave us be, asking if we wanted more drinks which is where they make their money robbing you of £3.50 for a thin small glass of coke with loads of ice and a lemon ( I do not drink alcohol).NO, WE DO NOT WANT ANOTHER DRINK, but was asked again approx 15 minutes later.I wanted to finish and get out. Then comes the bill....... £49 for a tikka WATERY massala NO TASTE, 2 naan, 2 x thin watery glasses of coke and samsosa's x4An utter joke.I review is an honest review and not i am a misery sod.I speak the truth, which some may find they do not have the guts for as may look silly in front of friends and family.Well it is true, overpriced as stuck in Whitefield, deluded money to waste or be conned out of people will go here.Well....... carry on being robbed.Really ruined our evening

The reason I done this I told the manager was because the last time I came they missed part of my order. To which he did not respond. When I looked at the chips in the bag they had been put into a brown paper bag and the bag was splitting due to the grease so I took them out and show them to him and he just looked at me and said there are chips I said yes but look at the grease all over that and that's not acceptable and I have just spent over £100 with you he trotted and went back into the kitchen and I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to be made again making the rest of my dinner cold for my guests. Very bad service. I will never ever spend my money here again they do not look after their guests spend your money somewhere else there is far better food and service the curries here are bland the bread is awful and the chip to make me want to cry

I love the food at EastZEast, it isn't cheap but it is consistently good. The portions are large and the food is all fresh tasting. We opted for fish masala and chicken tikka for starters (both hug, very tasty, crunchy), and lamb and chicken curries on the bone (specials). The lamb on the bone dish wasn't quite as succulent as the last time but still delicious. The popodums are served with a great selection of very tasty dips (probably the best I have eaten), and the drinks reasonably prices (great mango lhasi). Huge tasty and light nanas fresh from the tandor and rich mushroom pilau.Service was friendly, unhurried, and so much better than it's big brother in town. A friendly welcome and greeting when we left from the manager too.Unfortunately no space in the car park but easy to park in the free car park across the road. Will definitely be back.
