We’ve had many meals from here and they are usually ok but tonight’s wasn’t Our onion bhaji was burnt to a crisp and tasteless the tandoori chicken was very small and dry We won’t be ordering from here again

Lamb dish was tender and spicy and vegetarian dishes equally tasty. Piping hot when it arrived within 45 mins of ordering. We never buy takeouts tbh, but would order from here again.

Dreadful! Not only the worst rogan josh I've ever eaten but probably the worst curry I've had the misfortune to have been served in 30+ years. Absolutely dreadful. Off the scale chilli heat and no other flavour to it. Literally dipped my fork in it, tasted it then threw it away. Such a shame Google don't allow zero stars.

Tried to find a curry to enjoy when moving back to Prestwich. Truly a hidden Gem, fresh cooked food with great use of fresh herbs and spices. Rice is to die for, could eat it on its own. Arrived Hot and Fresh the flavours beautiful. Thankfully we now found that takeaway x

This place is amazing, the food quality is outstanding. This is what an authentic Indian should taste and smell like. The ingredients used "and you can tell there are many" are exactly what makes a good curry, I honestly have not had food like this in years. The staff are so polite which is refreshing. This is a MUST TRY, don't think twice, every meal we ordered was made to perfection. Top quality 👌

Excellent quality of cooking. Best Lamb rogan josh I have ever tasted, packed with so much flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection 👌 amazing customer service and friendly, warm staff. Would highly recommend. Worth the drive from Rochdale to Prestwich!!

Lived here 23 yrs and never used this place. Decided to give a go Sat 13th. Rang up to see if we could have a certain curry with the set meal for 1. The guy was so helpful and friendly. We ordered and he said 20 mins. He rang us in 15 and said it was ready - great as was only 2 blocks away. I am a very fussy about what I eat as I cook from scratch every day. Most takeaways don’t thrill me. However on entering the premises I was delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. You could eat off the floor- and I don’t say this lightly. The guy front of house was so lovely too. Inside we got 2 poppadoms, mango, onions, yog. Then Seek kebab, onion bhaji, chick tikka, lamb tikka. Then the prawn and chick Balti and pilau rice( large portion I might add). Then there was a veg bhaji which we thought would be like an onion bhaji but it was like a curry and same size( not sure if that was a mistake but did state veg bhaji on the menu). Salad and plain naan. There was so much that we put the veg bhaji in the freezer. It was superb.. and I know good curry as Mughli, Rusholme, is our fave place. The food was hot, fresh and just amazing. All that was a set meal for 1...yes 1!!! Only £14. Will definitely be back for the lamb chops.

I've never left a review but thought I had to for this place, it was the nicest kebab i've ever had! If you like spice, great quality meat and a soft naan I would highly recommend the Hot mix kebab wrap (Asian Style) with chilli sauce on top.The Chicken Tikka is really succulent and the donner tastes like high quality meat. They also smother it in just enough sauce - this isn't even comparable to the greasy/sweaty/bland normal kebab takeaway.

We love this place and order regularly. So much choice it's hard to pick favourites, but the chef's special mixed kebab (chicken and lamb tikka, seekh and shami kebabs, onion bhajis), garlic prawn curry and chana masala are definite highlights. Everything is really hot and fresh, and the staff are super-friendly.

Literally the best Indian takeaway in Manchester. I have moved out of Prestwich and still drive there often to get takeaway cos I can’t forget them 😭

4 kids meals 8 popadoms n 2 nann bread was £46 phoned to ask why they said they put the prices up never again will i order from here 😡 the food wasnt that great either

All absolutely lovely people, really friendly and easy to talk to. They are super accomodating, and will make anything vegan if possible. They even do a vegan korma on request! Food is always made and delivered quickly and always gorgeous. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a curry.

Always a great takeaway. No other Indian takeaway restaurant compares in the Prestwich area in my opinion. Staff have always been great too.

It was our first time ordering the other night. After reading the good reviews on just eat we did not hesitate to order. The food came faster than expected and the delivery driver was really friendly. You could tell all the food was fresh and came piping hot. We did customise one of the orders asking for it to be a bit more spicy and they were very happy to do so. Will definitely be ordering again thank you very much saffron express!

I’m a regular at this takeaway. Thought I would write a review. I always have a starter of onion Bhajis, veggie samosas And poppadoms. We then have chicken bhuna and madras. The latter is a little fiery which is how I like it. The meals are always fresh and don’t taste processed or off the shelf. The staff are friendly. I highly recommend this takeaway.

We ordered from here for the first time in a while, the food was fresh and hot, after being recommended the chilli chicken, it was so tasty with the right amount of spice.

I've been through every Indian in Prestwich in the surrounding area, from East Z East to Tiffin Express etc. However, Saffron Express is the one I've been going back to over and over again for the last year now. The food is super tasty and the guys are great - always happy to help, polite and if anything ever goes wrong they sort it for you straight away! So if you're in the area - dont waste your money on the other places like I did for far too long, get your food from here!

Best Indian around, food is always piping hot with a very generous portion, staff are great and go above and beyond. If you have never tried this place then I urge you to have a go. You will not regret it.

Swindled extra money out of us for delivery charge as apparently it was out of thier area... lied about mileage, only to find it was literally 200 yards out of the 3 miles. Food was absolutely diabolical! Delivery was late. Never again!
