Armaan, Exquisite Indian Cuisine in Bury

Terrible service, waited 15 minutes for a drink and when inquired about how long it would be I was asked if I still wanted it!? Asked for no fresh coriander and got fresh coriander. Ordered a lamb shank that wasn't a shank at all and was chewy and tough. Food came out disjointed with missing items.

Fantastic place. Great food. Cracking staff. My only downside is the tips you leave for your servers DO NOT go to your servers. Management keep ALL tips. Bare that in mind when ya visit.

Ordered takeaway Onion Bahji chicken tikka , madras curry , pilau rice and naan . Everything cold and no madras curry they sent Bombay potato instead waited over an hour 20 minutes disappointed to say the least .

We have been dining once and we love it! We have ordered takeaway on Friday 14th. I found a pice of stainless steel wool in my samandar curry while I was chewing which it was almost cut my tongue. I felt terrible as I was enjoying my curry. It’s a shame, that’s really put me off from this restaurant. Staff need to pay more attention on food hygiene seriously!

The food here is absolutely fantastic, as always—easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. I recently came for a birthday meal with my wife, and though we hadn’t mentioned it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with a slice of cake and even sang for me without us asking or expecting anything. The service is truly exceptional—always going above and beyond. And let me just say, they have the best peshwari naan in town! Highly recommend!

Love this restaurant. When eating in the staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you. I signed up for the text messaging service over a year ago. You will get a message advising that if you spend over £25 you will get a free portion of onion bhajis or chicken pakoras, or sometimes it can be 10% off your bill. They alternate the offer. Tonight our order equated to £35 including delivery. We purposely left onion bhajis off our order thinking they would be included, unfortunately they were not and this is the second time it’s happened. Very disappointing! Come on Armaan, stop making false promises and get it right!

I doubt it's an Indian restaurant. Only meant for rich people flashing cash Service is very bad for people who don't drink alcohol. They have a rule that per person they need to spend atleast 10 pounds excluding tax which is okay. But not with the type of services they offered and felt a little rude.

Visited Armaan restaurant on New Yeats eve 2024, table for 3 @ 6.30pm. The restaurant was extremely busy, we waited about 10 mins to be seated and then about 15 mins for someone to take our order, which was absolutely fine. The staff who were extremely busy and never stopped attending to people, clearing tables but throughout this they never stopped smiling and nothing was to much trouble! When the food arrived it was all hot and tasted delicious, I even told the manager how excellent his staff were. I would eat here again in an heartbeat. Well done and a Happy new Year!

2 of my friends and I, went for a meal this evening. When we arrived at the restaurant it was 5.40pm. We ordered drinks quickly and the service seemed fine. We then proceeded to order food at 5.55pm. Although the restaurant was pretty much empty it took well over 80 minutes for our food to arrive, without a word from the waiters to even check on us. Then when the mains arrived, they brought my friends food, and only half of my meal, not even giving me a plate to begin eating on. I then had to wait another 10 minutes for the other half of my meal aswell as my plate to arrive. Finally when asking for some sort of compensation we weren’t offered any monetary version and only a round of free soft drinks (pretty much after our meal was over) Will not be returning here.

Hands down one of our favourite indian (and we do go to many indian restaurants). Food is amazing at a very good price and the staff is always very welcoming. I'd defintelly recommend!

Armaan is our favourite curry house in the area! Great food at an affordable price. The staff who work there are lovely too.

Lovely friendly restaurant with 10/10 food

We booked a table here for 19:00. We placed a drinks order which didn't arrive for 30+ minutes after we chased the order. We chased a waiter so we could order our meals. Poppadoms finally another 30 minutes later after we chased the order. We chased the food order again and eventually we were served somebody else's starters before then being served our correct order after 90 minutes or so. We bought our own drinks from the bar after that because we didn't trust the table service. At 21:10 we still hadn't been served our main meals. We told the staff that we were leaving and a man hurried to the kitchen. Soon after our food was pushed out on a trolley, but our minds were set and we had already made the decision to leave. They tried to sell us the food to take away at -50% which I found hilarious. The food I ate was nice. The people were friendly, but the service was chaos. We will not return as I don't feel like they did enough to by way of apology. Dining out should be special and you should be made to feel special by the establishment you are attending. This restaurant fails spectacularly at doing that.

Had a good night but started to get a little noisy when the kids started coming in otherwise couldn't fault it.

Attended Saturday night for son in laws 40th, food exquisite, staff are lovely and friendly and very attentive, nothing too much trouble even when our 18 month old grandson launched a bowl of rice on the floor, they laughed and cleared it up. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go again, nicest food ever.

The food and service was really great. Really nice staff. I wasn't a fan of the dance music but I guess it was Saturday night!

The food and service were absolutely incredible, delicious food and the staff were always there when you needed them. My only complaint was the dance music they had on which I felt didn't really fit the atmosphere of the restaurant. But even so I would definitely recommend and return myself again.

Family of 5 and we visited on a Sunday and had the Sunday banquet. The food was outstanding. Everything was well cooked, so tasty, it was outstanding. Will definitely be back again.

Meal was really good we had starter 2 people platter well recommended and main courses were the Balti garlic chilli chicken was delicious and special mix Balti and it was excellent and honey naan bread which was amazing well worth the visit and Mollie was very attentive x

Excellent in every respect ! The food, the service, the drinks, the table, cutlery, toilets, everything was great. We were a party of 18 and they managed to bring all our food out at the same time, even though the restaurant was full. And the food was great, a wide variety of dishes with some unique specials, not too spicy (although very spicey is available) and they gave us doggy bags to take home the leftovers. Next morning, I did not have any feeling of having had a curry - no "curry tummy" - so they must be using good quality ingredients as well.

Always love visiting Armaan's, nice location, nice food and nice staff. The staff always welcome me and my wife with big smiles.

I've order from here 3 times now the food is really nice it's just a shame that it takes so long to receive the delivery all 3 times its taken over 2hrs from when I ordered, this will be my last tome ordering due to this reason unfortunately madras was very hot 🔥

Arrived late. Had to call restaurant to find out where our food was. Finally delivered by someone from the restaurant. Food was Luke warm. Meat ( chicken and lamb) was tough. Nan bread was cold and wet. Two sauces came with delivery which we didn’t order Couldn’t tell what they were as they weren’t labelled , tasted awful. Will not use this restaurant again !

Ordered take-away and then waited 2 hours for delivery! When I called after an hour and a half I was told that the food was already with the driver. We live no more than 5 minutes away. This is not the first time that this has happened unfortunately. The food is always decent but the level of service is just not acceptable. Sort it out guys!

Bury Relics Walking football annual curry night was held at Armaans Radcliffe for the first time tonight but were sure it wont be the last. Everything was as good as it could be with fantastic food, excellent service in superb surroundings. Caitlan who took the original booking was there too look after us all evening and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you also to Haroon who was very attentive to our group. Great food and great service. Take my mum for tea here fairly regular, the food is always amazing, the best Indian I've ever had!! Have tried a number of the dishes, especially the signature ones, all are Devine. Service is great, never have to wait for a top up on drinks and all staff are attentive. Cant wait for the next visit!!!

Every time I come back home to Manchester have to get a curry from here - always amazing, generous highly flavoured portions that taste fresh and interesting. Only oddity is cash only (something to be aware of on ordering).

Bland rushed not nice at all paid 8 pound for 2 prawns would not recommend lamb chops dry chicken dry tasted like old food not fresh at all will definitely not be returning best in bury as it says this is way of best in bury worst in bury if you ask me wouldn’t mind but place wasn’t even busy so no excuse for plane bland dry old food shocking

The food here is absolutely amazing. The best Indian food I have ever had, so tasty. Even the starters do not disappoint! The chicken in the curries is so soft, it falls apart. The restaurant is lovely and big with some good seating around the edges of the restaurants with booth-like tables. One guy who served us tonight was an absolute delight, wish I had taken his name. But we have found some of the other staff to be quite rude, always seem to be in a rush or maybe lacking confidence when it comes to the younger staff. The food is very reasonably priced and they have a good drinks menu. We would definitely return for the food and atmosphere.

We booked the New Years eve special. After booking I spotted some negative reviews from last year, so was a bit concerned I'd made a mistake booking. However the Armaan delivered a fantastic evening. Despite being very busy the service was great and the food really good and served pipping hot. There was a great atmosphere aided by a really good Michael Jackson tribute act which added the great evening. The evening was rounded off with a Firework display in the car park. A great evening :-)

New years eve spent here - the service took forever. We asked for drinks numerous times and we were passed from waiter to waitress like an inconvenience. Then the food took forever and when we finally got our food we were rudely told we need your table in 30 mins. Well maybe bring your food out quicker. Won't be coming back unfortunately

This was the best take away curry I've ever had. The guy on the phone was very polite. When we picked up the preparation of all the food was 10. Absolutely amazing. So much care in everything they did..highly recommended. My new favourite takeaway, thankyou to everyone at Armaan. I really enjoyed it.

Service very slow. Chicken tikka biani.... Sauce watery chicken overcooked and tasteless. Fish dish was cremated not cooked. Told waiter chicken was overcoked.... To be told thats the way it is in a byriani... Told him in 40 years of eating them i have never had anything so bad. Avoid at all costs
