The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

Nice food but lesson learned, always have a itemised bill when eating there. We paid £82 for 4 meals, 3 nans and 4 coffees ( cold drinks were purchased separately on arrival) I emailed the owner to ask if he could check the bill, because I felt that the restaurant prices on the menu did not match the bill. I never got a reply until 3 days later when I phoned the restaurant up to try to get a answer to the email I had sent to ask for clarification on the price for each item. I was told there were cold drinks/ mixers on the bill, which we did not order or consume. I asked again for them to check the prices and get back to me. After contacting me back twice via email, once to ask for the payment method and the other to say they would look in to it, I have heard absolutely nothing since. The service was terrible on that night too.

Impressive looking,welcoming staff,live music ,Buskers etc most nights of the week.Reasonably priced drinks and great location.Give it a try the new owners are turning it around

In terms of Indo-Chinese, there is nothing to touch this place. The food is packed with flavour and cooked with great skill and expertise. If you’ve never eaten this cuisine, you can’t go wrong trying the Chicken Manchurian or Hakka Chilli Chicken. A real treat for the taste buds!

A very clean & tidy place but they got our order wrong, kids had to wait for food. Our peri peri burgers had no salad & were bland. So disappointing

Primera vez que ordeno. Entrega rápida. Gran porción de pollo y un montón de arroz. Realmente sabroso y hecho para dos comidas. Muy buena calidad y lo recomendaría.

Went for a quick lunch yesterday. Ordered pad thai and spring rolls. Small shop but big flavours. FAB thai street food. You guys rock and the service was so good. Front of the restaurant was smiling and inviting. When I said the food was good, you were humble enough to pass on the compliments to the chef. The best thing i liked here was hot hot food served. I spent £40 yesterday on dinner on 1947 restaurant and I spent £14 for lunch in your place. I am a happy camper that i selected your restaurant. Will definitely return. Keep up the good work and keep up the smiling faces in the front of the restaurant.

I ordered delivery through just eat. Saw their pamphlet on my door step and was craving some flavorful soup as I wasn’t feeling well. The ordered arrived in 15mins, which was surprising as on the website it was showing one hour. We were happy but when we opened the food except the crackers nothings tasted good. We ordered two Tom yum soup as it’s our go to from any Thai place. But trust me this is the worse I have ever had. No lemon grass, no galangal and no kaffir…. are you serious??? How is it even a Tom yam soup then. It was just flavored water with few mushrooms, prawns and cherry tomato. I was so disappointed we paid 14 pounds for that :/ we also ordered Pad Pring so we thought let’s try that, might be better but again disappointed 😔 the Pad pring had three chillies on the menu shown for the spicy level but this wasn’t even close to spicy nor there was salt, it was just bland. Paid nearly 30GBP for this food. Biggest regret ever. Please don’t write “taste of Thailand” on the menu when it’s not even close to it.

One ignorant member of staff who served me ice cream asked if i wanted anything or not in an abrupt way

I often pop in here after a late one and my experience is a good one. Reasonably priced and really tasty burgers.

This restaurant in Egham used to be quite good although the service could be patchy. However, it has been closed for several years. Please remove entry

No exaggeration, this is the worst customer service I have received anywhere. They make a mistake with the order and then are rude when you pull them up on it. Avoid 100%. Much better desert places around.

fideos King solía ser una total atlético. Auténtica comida, un gran servicio. Mis 3 últimas visitas no ha sido muy bueno, así que no volveremos.
