Nice food but lesson learned, always have a itemised bill when eating there. We paid £82 for 4 meals, 3 nans and 4 coffees ( cold drinks were purchased separately on arrival) I emailed the owner to ask if he could check the bill, because I felt that the restaurant prices on the menu did not match the bill. I never got a reply until 3 days later when I phoned the restaurant up to try to get a answer to the email I had sent to ask for clarification on the price for each item. I was told there were cold drinks/ mixers on the bill, which we did not order or consume. I asked again for them to check the prices and get back to me. After contacting me back twice via email, once to ask for the payment method and the other to say they would look in to it, I have heard absolutely nothing since. The service was terrible on that night too.

not been here for years and i've eaten at most major curry houses , incl those in bradford. collected a takeaway prawn madras, chappatis and seekh kebab and salad for starters. Seekh kebabs were tender and tasty, the salad provided was one of the nicest i've had with a curry as it had crispy fresh lettuce, tomatoes and i think slices of horseradish all in a minty sauce. The prawn madras, just the right strength a good number of prawns unlike a local takeaway not far from there that could not get hold of any prawns due to 'supply issues' ...won't visit there again. The Chappatis i must say rival some of the best i've had and from more expensive restaurants. They were light and fresh tasting, unlike some that can be stodgy and soggy. To top it off i ordered a large tray of mint sauce which was perfectly balanced, with the right amount of mint, chilli etc. Although i travelled from another village, i will make this my 'local' . If you're wanting good quality food at a very reasonable price don't even question it, visit here. Well done to this well established family pairing.

Ordered from Shahban for delivery. Food was delicious and just enough. The chapattis were lovely. Great value for money, quick delivery.

Food beautiful ,good value .staff very friendly .make you feel welcome, Nothings to much for the staff, we love it here .very clean .we have never had a bad meal ever ,we visited here every week before lock down .

Me and my family have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years, the food is fantastic and the staff have always been amazing. The owner will go out his way to cook your curry to how you like it. Nothing is too much trouble for them. This is my favourite restaurant and I have been to many.

Ate here last night, the poppadoms were soft and chewy like they were old, the main course was tiny and I was still hungry after. All of the sides were of poor quality, choice of draft beer was Spanish so bottles it was. I'm glad the meal was small though as I was poorly from it during the night so probably a blessing in disguise! I will never eat there again.

Visited here last night popadoms and pickles nice! Mixed stared dry sparse and cold... Fish balti tasteless and chicken buna sparse chicken and fullboff oil. I reported the issue of oil to staff to be informed this is how it should be!!! Yak yak I have eaten in many India/Asian restaurants and never seen anything like it.

We went here for some food on Friday evening and we enjoyed everything that came to our table,we ordered popadoms which were lovely and fresh and crispy with a pickle tray,😋then we ordered Onion Bhaji,2 prawn puri,a cheese and onion nan bread,a curry with pineapple in,and a potato dish,couldn’t fault anything.well done.👌

We went here last night for a takeaway after having a few drinks. This was the worse food we have eaten in a long time. It was terrible. I ordered pasanda and it was nothing like like pasanda. It was like something out of a jar which tasted of gravy granules. The chicken tasted like rubber. The biriyani sauce was not biriyani sauce. It was no vegetables. It was like congealed gloop which again tasted of gravy granules. The garlic yoghurt was vile. It was a runny mess of yoghurt with loads of chopped up onions. The keema naan was just like a kebab. Just to top it off...: this terrible food made one of us ill. I would say to avoid this place at all costs!!

We thought we would give this restaurant a try for a possible alternative to Tulsa in Roper Gate.So wish we hadn't,as our meals were poor. Chicken tikka was very dry and the Lamb main was like an explosion of red dye. Avoid!

Child was sat at table all night being annoying who was actually son of waitress. Waitress wasn’t professionally dressed looked more like she was pot washer. Food average and not presented well wouldn’t go back. Management need to sort these issues out

Went on a quite Monday evening had a lovely meal with good service. Not been in before but given how tasty the food was and the value for money will definitely be back soon to try a different dish. The flavours of the sauces and the combination with the rice were a good medley. Parking available across the road. Worth trying if you like Asian cuisine.

Thought we would try this Indian for a change. Nothing to write home about. Rubbish atmosphere. Waitress looked more like she worked in a factory canteen. Food was average. Don't think we will be going here again

We visited here on 11.4.17. Terrible service, food took forever. Very unprofessional as child was sat on one of the tables which was slightly annoying. Food took over a hour to arrive and when it did it had a lovely hair in it. Wouldn't go back again.

This is the first time we have had food from here.....omg....our takeaway was absolutely beautiful!!!! Can't wait to try some more.

After working for 10 long hours, on Saturday night , me & my husband decided to order from here , I rang & placed the order & was told our order would be 40 minutes due to the fact they were busy which was acceptable, however after a full hour our ordered hadn't arrived therefore I called the restaurant to see where it was , the lady said it was on its way! after a very long 2 hours we received our order , greeted by a very rude delivery driver who didn't apologise at all for the long delay we endured & left our gate wide open & stormed off back to his car! I thought this was unacceptable & really that we should of received our meal for free, The food however was very good but I wouldn't recommend home delivery & I certainly won't be ordering from here in the near future !

The food is tasty and fresh, a great place to eat at a reasonable price the naan bread is second to none. Well worth a visit.

always a high stranded of food very tasty and the chef will adapt any of the dishes to your preferred taste/strength. very under used restaurant due to location but well worth the visit

Aunque bastante buena decoración la comida no es nada especial y como no es tan barato no regresaremos.No basura pero hay muchos más bonitos restaurantes cerca. También era sábado por la noche y éramos los únicos. ¿Qué es lo que te digo?

Popadoms estaban bien, pero los chapuzones mango, cebolla con chili y col? El con yogur no eran buenas.

Visité aquí el domingo con amigos y me quedé impresionado. Las Habitaciones limpias y ordenadas y lugar acogedor con una gran variedad en el menú y la comida es deliciosa y muy agradable. Sin duda lo recomiendo y volveremos de nuevo.

My food was late tasted and looked like cold gravy the lamb was so hard I couldn't chew it would never use again

went back for a second time for the buffet meal and once again found it well worth the price charged, bargain for less than £10 each.. The starters are excellent especially the tandoori chicken.. the main meal choices are a tiny bit spicy for my tastes but this is an Indian restaurant after all ,however on our first visit after mentioning this to the waitress she explained that if we mentioned this on arrival then the chef could cook something less spicy to suit our tastes. This was accommodated without fuss and my partner got a freshly cooked main course.The meat used in the meals seems to be of high quality, chicken breast used in most choices , The buffet for the price is well worth trying however there is not as much choice as I would have liked but this is because the restaurant needs more customers to the buffet hence why I am writing this review,I have eaten in other highly popular Indian restaurants (wont mention the names) and had worse lower quality food payed higher prices for the privilege and had to wait to be seated etc.Please try the buffet here, get some custom fore this well deserving restaurant enjoy the food and hopefully that will lead to more choices on main courses there are sweets available on request, but after filling on the the excellent starters and quality main courses .. we just could not find room for them.... next time perhaps... will be back

Eaten at this little Indian a few times now. The food is always excellent and has that freshly cooked feel. On this visit I had a chicken special balti and it was one of the nicest Indians I have had in a long time.The restaurant does lack a bit of atmosphere but if you like your Indian it's well worth a visit. The owners are very nice and always make you feel welcome.

I eat here every week! It's always empty but to be fair, the amount of deliveries made shows why. Nobody wants to really eat out anymore.The chicken pakoras, mint sauce, meat samosas and mango chutney are to die for.Garlic chilli chicken curry and chicken and potato balti are just yummy and the name bread! Out of this world. Amazing staff and beautiful food for such a reasonable price! I love this place.

Brilliant buffet, loved the the choice, starters and mains, friendly staff, would recomend to everybody worthy of 5 stars.

Had a meal in this restaurant to celebrate a pay rise I got. The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Very friendly staff and owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I regularly go to this restaurants as it is my favourite indian restaurant, I also order take away deliveries from here as well if I fancy an indian at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food.

Had a meal here last night, it was delicious. I cannot understand why we were the only couple in the place, tho it was a bit late. Definitely give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

When I saw the 5 stars for the this restaurant, I could hardly believe it! Couldn't wait to get an authentic Indian meal here and dine in a such a top voted establishment. But of course when we entered the restaurant.... things were not at all what they were made out to be. It was the total opposite of a 5 star dining experience. Nothing could be further from the truth! The first tell tale sign, before we even sat down, was the fact that there were no customers. None at all in the restaurant. Secondly was the fact the menu's which looked like they were out of an east end cafe, and thirdly they did not even display the drinks which were on offer. This should have been plenty enough of a warning to turn around and leave, but feeling that the food might, just might be out of this world, considering the 5 star rating, we sat down to be fed. We sampled several dishes from the starter list, picking dishes which would show off the cooks talent, and ability. Looking for a great blend of complex spices and fresh herbs combined with a knowledge which can only be passed down through the generations. Sadly, not one of the starters was made in the kitchen. All of them were pre-made, defrosted bought in pap, with zero taste. The pakora was of particular note, as the batter was like that of a bad cake mixture. Dense, spongy and nondescript.Similarly was the main course curries. They can only be likened to that of something which came out of a jar. The most disappointing curry I have ever eaten in my life. Your JD Weatherspoon Thursday night curry for a fiver, has 10 times the flavour over these sad offerings.I would save your cash, and never darken this doorstep. What a disgrace to the name of Indian cooking. There is no cooking that goes on here, so you may as well go to Weatherspoon's for the money. 5 star's I think not!

This is a fab place for takeout or eat in. Staff are always polite and friendly. Food is excellent and good value. Def not just an 'after the pub' place!!!!

Not a bad curry and pretty cheap - Great Chappatis. Just the job after a few beers!
