First time we have used them, six of us for dinner, everybody agreed that the food was excellent and hot when it arrived!

Food was amazing, fresh tasting and the right level of spice/heat. Delivered early. Love this place!

Always have my curries from here but this last one was salty and lacking on all of the flavours I've come to expect from Balti hut. It was average at best which is saddening for a restaurant which has been my go to for over 10 years. Maybe the chef changed? My last balti was from JCs and was far superior to this. I'll order again but if it's the same it's goodbye as take away food is not cheap, it's a luxury that cannot be afforded to be anything less than excellent.

Well it seems my experience is totally different to others here. The fish pakora was unfortunately awful, just a very thick batter and hardly and fish I was surprised anyone would serve it. The curries all tasted the same and showed no concern for spicing. I also don’t think pilau rice should just be coloured rice with no spices, it was disappointing overall.

Another amazing biryani from Balti Hut. It's my favourite place to get a curry from in Wakefield. The food was hot and tasty. The delivery driver was polite and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Order was late with no update about arrival time. Called restaurant after delivery time and was told that it would be the next order to go out. So had not even been sent out after the delivery time slot. Eventually arrived 30 mins late.Restaurant had been recommended to me. Will not use again. Would like a refund.

Delivery took 2 hours but was worth the wait, really yummy stuffed paratha and my little boy loved the lamb pasanda. Lovely friendly delivery guy too. x

Delivered early, great as I’d left it to the last minute to order. Food was hot and lovely, however I don’t know how good their popadoms are, every time I order them they are missing!

Shami, popadoms, chapatti and madras was perfect. Rice was too sticky

Our go-to Indian. Small takeaway but huge choice and fantastic food. Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Saag tonight were delicious with tasty pilau rice, peshwari naan and onion bhajis. Recommended. Not a bad takeaway yet, and doubt very much this would ever happen. Please do give them a try. You wont be disappointed

I would absolutely recommend this place. They have provided us fantastic food at a consistent standard for many years. I am yet to experience a bad meal from here. Sometimes there is a wait for the food so order earlier and you will not be disappointed!

Shocking service!!! Can't even rate the food because after 90 minutes waiting it still hadn't been thought about!! We were given another 30 minutes waiting time after complaining. Cancelled the order. Don't bother

Rude staff very unclean and caught one eating chips out of the tray they provided spoke in their own language and started laughing I won't return here again food went in bin

Went to pick up my partners takeaway this evening and was absolutely appaulled at how I was spoken to! I was very nice and said I was here to pick up an order for (partners name). He said I dont have an order for that person and basically told me to go ring my partner in a very rude manner. I rung my partner and went back in with my phone and told him he's on the phone and after basically taking no responsibility that they had not wrote the order down told him again they didn't have the order he said I will make it now. I said no you won't I am NOT spending my money in such a place! He said go on get out of my takeaway. If you are a woman going alone I would definitely reconsider, these people talk to you like a piece of dirt. They did not intimidate me but easily could somebody else. Spend your money at places that appreciate you

Absolutely Terrible Ordered a delivery was 2 hours late on top there was missing items and on top the meat was absolutely horrendous I will never ever ever been trying these guys again. I hope this review helps other people because is place truly a JOKE

We always order our curries from the Balti Hut (we order through JustEat). Always really tasty and more often than not our order arrives earlier than the expected time given on JustEat.

First time ordering must say worth the wait was really good. We struggle to find a good curry for delivery but I wasn't disappointed..

First time but not my last, beautiful

I used to think it was the best indian takeaway around this area. Food was decent however service isn't so good. They have missed items off our order several times, and it took 2 and a half hours last Saturday to recieve our takeaway, so we will now be looking else where.

Ordered a madras and spicy tikka Masala and have to say it's the beSt curry I have had in Wakefield by far will definitely be ordering again

Ordered my first Just Eat takeaway from Balti Hut and was impressed. Meal arrived earlier than we expected and delivery man very friendly and smart .Good menu selection, we tried a variety of starters with a mixed starter, amongst one of the best we've tried. Main courses Hydrabadi and Murgh Masala - delicious , pilau rice ok , not the best I've had before. The only let down in the whole meal - the Nan bread cold and hard. This was overall an excellent meal and we will use the Balti Hut again.

Just ordered from here and all I could taste was sugar. Both my korma and masala was soo sweet all 4 of us couldn’t eat anything. Popadoms were like cardboard and the naan was like a rock

We were staying with friends in Wakefield and decided on an Indian takeaway. The price for the foods was very reasonable and the food it's self was decent enough. Not the best Indian I have ever had nor the worst. The food is well priced for what it was. Nothing special but overall a decent meal.

I am disappointed to have to write this review.I have been ordering food from here for years & swear by it but last night it was so disappointing.Had a lamb Balti special & the meat was terrible.It was tough & grissly.The service is not great as it is a very tiny place so your orders wether picking up or having them delivered take an age.Normally I don't mind the wait as it is usually worth it but last nights was terrible.I hope they are not compromising the quality of their meat just to make a few extra quid.Might be awhile before I go back.

Ordered take aways , chicken saag Balti it was lovely . Very authentic not like the others in the area who do pizzas and kebabs too, and have mastered none . Have visited India and was on par with the best curries we had there. Will definitely order again .

I'm a curry fam and love to taste different slices , I have got to say if moved in Walsall,Wakefield holmfirth and back and massively rate your Currys, waiting time sometimes is long but for us is never a worry as we order then eat later so we are fine with it , son loves the lamb bhuna and Mrs the garlic whal me well all of them.. Thanks for a great meal ... highly reccomend

Had the set meal for two. Plenty of food, starters really good and main courses lovely. Even naan and chapattis fresh and nice. A little bit expensive for a takeaway but worth it for a treat now and then. Jeff

Good food, good portions, at a good price, not keen on the raita compared with other places and the somosas are sometimes not as crispy as i like them, but i can live with that if the food is good, best Jalfraizi anywhere PS my wife also says the fish curry is very good as well

Placed an order over the phone for delivery and was advised this would take an hour. After almost an hour and a half had gone by, I rung the shop to find out what was happening with my order. I was told the driver would be 5 minutes. There was no apology for the delay, just a laugh from the other person and a lame excuse about only having one driver. I don't mind having to wait, but when I place an order I expect the company to be honest about how long the order will take, not to be fobbed off with a random time just so they can have my money. By the time the order eventually arrived, an hour and 45 minutes had gone by since placing the order! This is completely unacceptable. The driver also tried to overcharge by a further £3 on arrival and the curry was flavourless. There was more flavour in the mint sauce. We used to regularly use this takeaway, but it appears to have drastically gone down hill since new owners took over. We shall not be ordering here again.

Definitely the best Indian takeaway in Wakefield / South Leeds. Used Balti Hut for a long time and the food is consistently good quality and cooked well. Lovely flavour and spices. Good owners who look after regular customers.

Had rajastani chicken...was so good! Tasty n hot ,my wife had chicken saag she loved it too! Always the best indian food locally!
