Didn’t receive the chips I ordered

Burger and Wrap did not come as a meal - this should be made clearer when ordering as would not have ordered if known. Food was very greasy and had a weird taste to it. Very salty and burnt too. Would not recommend.

First order chicken had a repugnant smell! Rung and got a replacement the next day not exactly happy and won't be ordering from these again!?

Food is terrible over charged and very rude delivery driver I used to always order here I am not anymore very disappointing

Unfortunately once again, part of the order was missing, it then took a further 50 mins to get the missing item, quality is good but unfortunately it doesn’t make up for the mistakes in the order. Several times now we’ve had to get mistakes rectified, which is then magnified by the poor service to correct the error. This is now once to many. Won’t be using them again.

Food cold cheesy chips was like the got reheated

It's a franchised chicken and pizza takeout cafe. It's popular with people leaving town after a night out. We always call in after such an event. There are other similar cafe's close by,but we've never had a poor experience so always head back . The menu is as would expect chicken burger, chicken piece meals and pizzas. I experienced chicken parmisan for the first time a few years ago there. In your late 40s it's great to find something that good in your local chicken cafe that is new.

dropped off at the wrong address then charged me delivery again to bring it back

The driver never turned up and was adament that he had been there 30mins. Ended up loosing £13 due to them not wanting to deal with the problem

The 2 portions of chips I ordered would be one portion in a normal takeaway and the doner meat was like cardboard why I cannot post a pik though lol and for 18 quid disgusting freddys. And while writing this 2 of my 3 kids have said there bellys hurt one said it then the other walked in the room and said the same thing

Having hard great food every time I've ordered from here, I'm extremely disappointed today as it took nearly 3hrs for my food to arrive... And to top it off the driver asked for a extra £3 because the address was wrong no it wasn't as I've had deliverys to this address since last year and never had a problem.

The chicken hardly had any coating on it. Very disappointed

Even though we've asked repeatedly they still put the chicken and spicy chicken in the same box if we forget to ask. Kinda defeats the object as it all ends up spicy!! No complaints with the pizzas though. Low star rating as they don't seem to learn from feedback

Hot tasty food, timely delivery.

I am very disappointed with Freddy's chicken 🍗 today as I have ordered my family bucket meals with I arrived home shared it with my family I found out that one of the chicken piece was actually off and smelling my daughter have already consumed half of it and started vomiting I returned the food back and explained my experience they said the chicken is good and they can not smell it I requested my money back which I got but I won't be ordering my meals there for a very long time

received 2 boxes and both had chicken smelling and tasting off, so I haven't had no response or refund from customer service, very disappointed!

Very bad quality chicken, there was a stench from the chicken… had to throw it out

It was not good taste was terrible and riddled in sauce and the wrap had half of a whole jalapeño in it.

2 portions of large fries missing from order, chicken wings substituted for a piece of fried chicken and mirinda substituted for a Pepsi, not informed or consulted about the changes and when I rang to tell them about their mistake they told me “we’re busy” and put the phone down on me. Avoid at all costs!

The food was kind of cold and the chips were sooo cold like it being leftover and just used again.. I was craving it after a long day travelling but l wish that I ordered from somewhere else as l had just to throw it away

Abit greasy buns are also not toasted so the burger and their texture just feels abit weird almost as if they just put everything in a cold bun.

Not happy at all. Driver messed up order after few mins called and we have to give some drink. Also no salads on doner kebab but I have requested salads. Fries where cold and hard. Sorry but won't be ordering more from them. Took more than hr to be delivered.

Never calls and says they do this is the worst takeaway in Wakefield I will be putting in a public statement to get your shop closed down your rude on the phone and have no respect for your customers

It is a shame that we will no longer be bringing our custom to Freddie’s. We have been long term, loyal customers of this store. We cancelled our order with 45 mins to spare before delivery time and promptly received a very rude call from (allegedly) the manager threatening to block us from ordering if we cancel again as he had sent the driver out. (Why a driver would need 45 mins to drive 3 miles is beyond me. But ok) Sadly, we will no longer be bringing our custom here due to this despite Freddys practically being tradition in our household. Disappointing really.

I ordered and paid for a double apple pie and only received one.

Rang to order & asked for a certain time, they said ok. But then it came 30mins early so by the time the family came home it was cold. I rang & said i was upset & not going order from them again. He said ok, i,ll block your address & put phone down on me! Something like that. I had to pay the full amount though!

I would order from here again and with no hesitation and recommend to anyone

Food cold and order has come wrong, way overpriced for what we received. Never ordering from here again. Ripped off completely, called them up and they had no intention of rectifying it and blamed just eat

Our order was cancelled by the driver and when we rang to find out the reason of why and in a very rude manner he was saying he’d rang us loads of times which wasn’t the case and just was down right rude through the whole phone call.

Ignore all the negative comments. Iv never had a problem with Freddie’s. It’s as good as KFC if not better and cheaper and they have never got an order wrong

First tried Freddys back in 2009 - Still the same great taste it’s your standard burger but done really well. Supreme burger with hash-brown. Sauces are nice too - garlic, chillie and bbq ✅

Calzone was very greasy and I had to throw it away and the chips were very cold and soggy

Driver turned up at 1am after screaming at me twice down the phone and wouldnt listen as i aas trying to explain were the address was he refused to tell me what street he was sat on kept sayin he was on my street but there were no headlights and i had t walk outside at 12am midnight trying to find him while being screamed at he event ually turned up with cold food at 1am i told him to go away as he was repeatedly banging on my door very loud woke up my nabours i was very upsrt and the conpany have still charged me for this

Food tasteless, feels like is been cooked yesterday and served today,fries absolutely dried, on top of this delivery took ages and food been delivered cold. Never ordering again.

Really disappointed. My children didn't even eat the pizza. When Ive tried salami on it tasted aufull, old perhaps. Chicken is not better as well, well the little of chicken what you find on the bone. Don't know what's happened to this place but I will be not ordering ever again. Spent £33 for food and the only good thing was mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers which they buy already made..

Part delivered on time. Some arrived late! Get over that then the food was next to none. It is one of the best takeaways I have ordered from, food was fabulous can’t fault the food, the rude little man on the phone was a different story!!!!

Me and my wife ordered 2 pizzas and some cheesey chips, food was still red hot when it arrived and everything tasted amazing.

Driver was very ignorant and 9 mins late .. he never thanked me for his tip which I didn’t have to give.. he was too busy on his phone to thank me 🤷.. but food was nice apart from the fries were cold

The best chicken shop in Wakefield, plenty of deals to choose from at reasonable prices and the food is good, cash or card payments accepted, the service is good too

The delivery was great but the food wasn’t the right pizza I got margarita when I ordered something different

No chips with donner, no dips came, the tower burger didn’t have a hash brown on and the chicken seemed undercooked. My partner is feeling unwell 2/3 hours after eating. Still got half left as evidence if needed.

The quality of this place has suffered a steep decline. Used to be the top place in wakey for a takeout. Not anymore. The picture should have been enough to put me off but i was somehow persuaded by my sis. She was wrong. Very wrong. Everything about this is disgusting. Thank you

Chicken was nice wrong amount of chips (less then what it says) told driver he just shrugged it off and they was cold not how it used to be poor service tried to call no answer

Good parmo but the fries need a little work, the kebab meat could've done with being a fresher too. All over not a bad meal by any means but not great!

One of the best pizzas i've had in the Wakefield area, would totally recommend them for pizzas!

Ordered the worst donner meat and chips with salad ever, the salad was a bit of shredded lettuce, ordered garlic sauce which never came and chicken pieces which must be 3 times cooked. I waited 1.5 hours for this disaster.
