FAVOURITES DESSERT LOUNGE in Slough

No exaggeration, this is the worst customer service I have received anywhere. They make a mistake with the order and then are rude when you pull them up on it. Avoid 100%. Much better desert places around.

I ordered from these people via Just Eat. After 45 minutes, I received an incoherent phone call from them as their manager was claiming the delivery had been made, but they'd just received a call from Just Eat as no delivery had been logged. They then changed the delivery time. 30 minutes later, the app showed the delivery driver leaving on what is a 5 minute journey - at the most. An hour later, he had not arrived. I called the restaurant - they didn't answer the phone and I could not leave a message. I called the person who had called me earlier - same problem. I messaged this person and got no reply. Thirty minutes later, Just Eat was updated to say they had delivered - which they hadn't. I have now been charged £15 and got nothing for it. Bloody awful service and I would advise people to avoid them

I ordered a crep a few days ago with white chocolate and flake and vanilla icecream and I was very disappointed as I wasn’t sure if the crep was cooked properly or if it was supposed to be like that? The icecream was really nice! But the crep tasted almost fake like cardboard and very chewy.. good icecream and staff were very nice tho!

I have tried to order from these on Just Eat several times over the last couple of weeks. At first they stated it was unavailable ;however, over the last couple of days they have cancelled my order without an explanation. What is the point in offering a service you cannot deliver.

Got a crepe with Nutella and strawberry’s ( chocolate was cheap and strawberries were mushed) Bounty milkshake tasted dreadful and this isn’t the first bad review we’ve had for these when they swapped our dessert for another random one without telling us and not even refunding is. Over priced

This place serves great desserts and coffees. It is very peaceful and calm to spend some time with coffee or delicious dessert. I really love this place.

Called to make a order got told no more desserts really disappointed as this is supposed too be a dessert reserant disgusted no sorry no nothing

I came here when Treatz was being renovated and found that the atmosphere in here was poor partly as the decor was very basically done, the booths cramped in and the customer service poor. It took a long time to get the cookie dough we initially ordered and when it did arrive we found it overcooked and lacking flavour (the ice cream it came with was however very nice).

Ordered dessert online, it came an hour and 40 minutes later (at 10pm!) when the estimated delivery was 45 minutes... not a great first impression, especially since they charge a delivery fee despite us being under 2 miles away. The delivery guy was pleasant although unapologetic. The menu was fairly standard and prices average or just a little below. I wasn't massively impressed with the selection of flavours available, and the sundaes all looked boring even though that's what I would usually go for. We got cookie dough, a brownie sundae and warm chocolate cake with icecream instead. I found it a little odd that a single extra scoop of icecream is £1.75, but that's the way with dessert parlours. The vanilla icecream scoop that came is almost definitely carte d'or... They currently have a promotion where you get a free milkshake on orders above £18- easy to do if there are three or four of you. We got the Ferrero rocher milkshake which was nice and thick but not overly flavourful. I enjoyed my warm chocolate cake, which had lots of sauce, but the cookie dough was quite greasy and not particularly chewy. The sundae came deconstructed so it took us a while to figure out which part of which dessert belonged to who (see picture). Likely wouldn't order from here again as food wasn't great and order was too slow to arrive.

As soon as you walk in you will be greeted with a smile! Been here twice and will return again! Nice selections and lovely cakes!

Ordered the delivery today and it came abit later than expected but it was oh so delicious! Will be preserving again for sure! Favourite chicken need to start delivery then I would be the happiest person in the world!

Hot cookie dough was scrumptious! Nice, clean, neat spot! & If your still hungry... They also have chicken on just the other side of the wall!! Fantastic!

They have a range of desserts including waffles, crepes, ice creams, hot fudges, shakes...loved it!! everything I have tried till date leaves me craving for more... It never disappoints you..not to miss, great Cakes :)

I am giving a full rating coz I love their profiteroles they are tooo delicious, good service and the only place I like for my desserts

No está mal. Tan sólo puedo base esta crítica en mi única experiencia. En primer lugar sólo quiero decir que el personal parecía bonito y agradable, no hay problema. Pedí una Oreo un batido y un crepe con chocolate blanco y fresas. Así que me dieron mi un batido y era tan gruesas que no podía beber, tomé de nuevo y nos explicó que el problema. Tuve que pedir un batido el nuevo ya que nadie había comprado. Luego crepe estaba cubierto de salsa de chocolate blanco, que sabe fatal (esperaba chocolate blanco fundido). Para ser justos, han quitado que así, volví con chocolate de leche. El chocolate con leche sabía a que había sido mezclada con chocolate oscuro y las fresas eran muy suaves. Al final de lo que me hubiera gustado tener no nos molestó.

I've probably used this place over a dozen time now and can honestly say it's one of the best dessert parlours I've tried. The prices are reasonable, service is good and variety is huge.

We have visited different dessert places but Favourites Dessert Lounge is the best of all. Waffles, milkshakes and other desserts were amazing in taste. Very friendly service, no comparison to others in respect of personalized service. Prices are very reasonable, place is very peaceful and clean. Highly recommended.

I visited this dessert lounge today the milkshakes were amazing and the staff were so friendly it is ridiculous! Both the dessert part and the chicken shop are both lovely food and great service.

If you're sick of bad customer service of creams in slough come to favourites. It is a clean and tidy place with (family) friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Always helpful and attentive to tour needs especially if you have childrenPrices are also good for the portion sizes. Ice creams ate served within 10 minutes of ordering (2 adults and 4 children). You are definitely getting you're money worth. We've been coming here for a few years but never got round to write a review. Highly recommended. Only downside is that it is small in size in comparison to the more established ice cream parlour chains. But the staff friendliness and quality of service makes up for it. That said we've never had to wait for a seating.
