This has to be the best Indian I have ever had. Even as a take away it is spot on the best. Better than any restaurant I've been to as well. Won't go anywhere else now.

Was recommended to go back after a few years away due to many poor meals, but the new management are fantastic. All of the meals for the last couple of years have been very good.

We hadn't used Musa's for about 3 years after one of the worst meals I have ever had despite living 5 minutes away. I had a nice, hot, tasty Madras and my wife had a lovely tikka masala. I would definitely use them again.

Ordered £26 worth of food and it was disgusting. Order was incorrect, food was cold, Naan was stale, Chicken vindaloo was potato muck. When we called back to query and complain I was told my wife, who ordered, was rude and hung up. Complete lie!! Shocking customer service and shocking food.....unless you like incomplete orders and curried Patato.

Food was cheap and flavoursome but restaurant wasn’t nice to look at on the inside, and layout was odd. Bring your own booze was an interesting concept and we were told to nip out of the restaurant to the shop next door to buy drinks to go with our meal. Having said all that, food was tasty and fairly authentic tasting

We had been several times when it was a restaurant and always liked it, being local we could walk and enjoy a cheap evening out, which we did several times! It was a shame when it closed. We tried the takaway for the first time a few evenings ago and it was fantastic value for money. The food was nice, the delivery was fast and the guy was polite. The only reason I didn't give 5* is because although we paid for drinks we didn't get them, which was disappointing. Didn't bother ringing and complaining, seemed a bit pointless. Wouldn't stop us ordering again as it was very nice, would just make sure I checked when it was delivered that I have evering I paid for ;) Would use again without a doubt.

The food is good and great value for money. The service is also excellent. The 5* hygiene rating helps as well.

Came here because it was highly recommended by friends and family, however the only food that was relatively nice were the poppadoms, staff were friendly, but didn't change the fact that the food was appalling, will not be visiting again.

For a cheap meal and a self service canteen type experience look no further. Navigating your way to the food counters when you go for more food can be tricky when the place is busy as tables are very close together. My tip would be to go for the Indian dishes as they have most flavour. Whereas the southern fried chicken, chicken nuggets and chips are tasteless and not very nice. However the sag aloo, korma and Lamb Bhuna are good. You take your own alcohol if you need to have a drink and there is a supermarket next door to buy some should you need to. The restaurant sells soft drinks. Had there been more space I'd have scored this experience a 4. If you want to pay more and have a fine Indian dining experience then this is not the place, but for a bargain dinner with friends then it's ok.

I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the food. I wouldn't go her for a special night out and as is the case with buffets it doesn't lend itself to any ambiance. The main draw back here is that some of the tables are too close together which makes it difficult to get up to the buffet. I take my own wine and don't pay corkage so its a cheap meal out. They have expanded the menu quite a lot since opening so am happy to keep going there

I highly recommend this restaurant to you. The food is delicious and there is plenty to choose from. The atmosphere is important to me though- and Musa's is so welcoming and friendly. I have eaten here many times. But I return because of the warm welcome I receive and the level if customer service is second to none. Good food and great service is a winner in my book- give it a try - I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

14 of us rocked up. Good selection of starters as you would expect. Good service from the attractive waitress. Mains were ok, nothing to write home about but good enough at this price point. You need to take your own booze though. No corkage charge but at £2 for a large bottle of water, it would pay to take your own water in an empty wine bottle 😉. Recommended if you fancy a no frills meal.

Booked table all quite excited as this was a first time for all of us, the tables are crammed so tightly in the people behind you are constantly apologising and visa versa, not a huge choice of vegetarian dishes, and I was almost Ill when I bit into a veggie samosa full of lamb. Not impressed. The young waitress was rushed off her feet and didn't spear to get help from any of the other staff stood watching. On the menu it states a wide choice of desserts, if you can convince them to refill the tubs at 8.30 at night. We never take alcohol we always buy soft drinks at the restaurant as this is where money is made. But they had to go to the shop to get it as the only soft drink available was coke or coke!!! Not impressed really got alot of competition out there if they intend to be successful.

My wife and I went to Musa's for a meal with friends and thought that it was quite good. The truth is that this restaurant is what it is. It is a cheap all you can eat buffet. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The food was pretty good but quite a lot of the dishes were low or had run out when we went to serve ourselves. They need to keep a better eye on replenishing the dishes. Overall a pleasant enough experience.

Nice food, nice atmosphere. Great waitress.Soft drinks are reasonably priced as is the food.Just wish there was more selection of dessert, as I'm not a fan of ice cream from a tub, but the rice pudding is ok.

Good value for money. The starters were very good but limited mains. It was very busy but reminded me of a canteen due to its decor. Overall, it was good value and I would go again.

Sorry but just not to my taste. Concept is very good but the delivery of the idea isn't working.Service was shocking, assumptions made that we knew how things worked, we didn't. Like the idea of take your own drinks but you do need, glasses and such like to be available. Stale poppadoms, odd onion mix served with them. Food was varied with lots of choices but looked so unappealing to me. Tried a few things but it just wasn't great. Maybe a few less dishes and more attention to detail.

Visited here with a couple of friends and as you take your own alchaholic drinks we knew exactly what we would be paying. The starters were my favourite bit the samosas were lovely and so much choiceThere were a lot of curries to choose to choose from covering all range of spice levelsI went for the hotter ones and wasn't disappointed after reading previous reviews I was worried that wouldn't have much flavour but they were just right my friend who likes milder was was just as happy they've pulled there act together from the first reviews on here so don't be put of it wasn't a posh place but it was clean and comfortable and the staff very attentive Would very much reccomend

Great if you like chicken nuggets not a great fan myself. There appeared to be a management family party going on and everyone was running around for them and no the customers. The three couples in there kept asking for food and sitting waiting and being ignored maybe just an off night but we won't be going back

Three of us visited this restaurant for a second time. The food is buffet style with a fixed payment of £9-99 Monday to Thursday and £11-99 any other time. We visited on a Friday at 1830. There are about 10 starters to choose from and I can recommend the samosas meat or vegetable which are probably some of the best I have had previously. There are about 5 vegetarian and about 9 meat or fish dishes with two types of rice and three different naan breads. There is also salad and various sauces to accompany the currys. The restaurant is not licensed so you just bring your own. Soft drinks are on sale. I'm not normally a fan of vegetarian curry but really enjoyed a Cheese (Paneer) and spinach curry. I had Lamb Bhuna which came a thick gravy and the meat was so tender it melted in the mouth.

I must first confess to not being a great lover of the buffet style restaurant, and after trying a few locally vowed never to bother again, but after being recommended Musa's by a good friend who began using it when it first opened and had only good things to say about it i was persuaded to try this style of restaurant again. What a mistake that was!!! Firstly i was pre warned by my friend than all the dishes were very mild, but not to worry as if you ask for something thats a little hotter they will make you a portion of it and it'll be included in the buffet price. Upon finishing a few starters (which were the best part of the menu) i tried a few of the curry options but seeing as a curry pot noodle would of been hotter i asked for a chicken jalfrezi. I was then informed ( much to my friends astonishment ) that i would be charged extra for this dish. Despite his protestations i said this would be fine and sat down and waited for my dish. When it came i was shocked at how hot it was, i've been a curry lover for 20+ years and eaten them all over the country and i have had less hot Phalls than this!!! But an avid believer in never sending food back in a restaurant both i and my friends wife( who had ordered the same jalfrezi dish this time and on previous occasions she'd been there) just didn't eat it. When we were finished we went to pay the bill (my friend still not happy about having to pay for the extra dishes ) and when they asked how things were my partner said that it wasn't a great selection on the buffet and that the dish we ordered extra wasn't anywhere close to what we'd ordered. Upon hearing this the guy at the reception went absolutely mental telling us that if we didn't like it we should p*ss off to Bombay Brassiery. When i objected to his tone of language towards my partner he proceeded to offer me outside for a fight. I couldn't believe this sort of behaviour could happen in a restaurant, especially from the staff. All in all even despite the recommendations of my friend (who now has vowed never to set foot in the place again) the poor food ( there are at least 20 100% better indian restaurants within 10 mins of here ) the sheer rudeness of the staff ( if they treat customers like this how do they treat the food they serve you) i would not recommend this place to anyone. I seriously can't imagine why anyone would travel here.

We visited whilst staying at the Travelodge ten minutes walk, away. The place was busy and bustling on a Friday night. You could buy drinks from the shop next door. It is an Indian buffet meal which might not suit everyone but was ideal for us. After a long hard day we were seated and eating in minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good quality and good value. Will come again if in the area.

This place needs to improve its food if it is going to survive. All the "curries" are thin and watery, and taste pretty much the same. The best thing about the food is probably the starters which had a bit more flavour and were not swimming in some sort of watery liquid. But ignore anything that claims to be hot - its not. A bowl of chillies would have been useful to spice up the food a bit.It may be trading on the fact that it is cheap, but I'd rather pay a bit more for food with flavour.

The beauty is you know how much your bill will be and you shouldn't leave hungry. If you want a good quality original meal then this isn't ghe place for you. Quick reasonable food and there is a range, in an informal setting, then give it a go. There is a reasonable amount of parking close by as well.

Just had a delicious take away from here for dinner with my husband. Staying for a few days locally and passed this play on side street so thought we would treat ourselves. We had the vegi set menu, with an additional veg dish and a meat dish think it was 36 pounds. It was huge and could have easily fed two more people (left overs tomorrow !). It was great quality lovely fresh veg and with a bit of crunch left in it. Hidden gem!

Maria was absolutely amazing. Talked me through the entire process and when I was unsure she helped me more until I decided to go from small to large box, so glad I did! She’s an asset to the company. Thanks Maria, you are one of the loveliest staff members I’ve come across. 5* for chopstix. Food was delicious

Lovely place, nice food. Good service. They top up the food regularly. Not quite as much choice as other similar places I've been but enough. The pizza is lovely! We will definitely go again.
