The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

We booked a table last night for a family occasion, we have used this curry house frequently over the years for eating in and takeaway. Unfortunately now the service and quality of food struggles to meet a 5 out of 10. Poor service - forgetting items off your order & generally a miserable bunch of people along with food that has to go back to the kitchen. I think it’s time that the manger / owner sits down and re evaluates his restaurant as it’s now at the point of sink or swim especially in this climate.

Visiting Liskeard for a night and need to fill up after a long day. Everest had a great menu so I popped in. Had starter and a main. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The food was great. Next time I'm in the area I'll bring the fam.

Had a lovely meal in here, went on a Sunday night. Staff were very good , food excellent , would recommend. Starters and main meals had, exactly as stated on menu...portion sizes very good. Tourist to area and second visit in a few years...

Lovely food. Really great staff. We came her on the back of trip advisor ratings. We weren’t disappointed. The food is great, the chef came out to check we were happy!! Not overpriced.

Even with a 4 out of 5 food relating it doesn't subtract for a first and second time trying their food which I have to say is bang on good.

Visited Lucky Khao for a friend’s birthday, and overall, the experience was 4 stars. The food was okay, nothing particularly stood out. What was a bit disappointing was when we ordered dessert expecting a birthday touch, but there was no candle. When we asked, the staff mentioned that guests usually bring their own candles, which seemed quite unusual for a restaurant. Not a huge issue, but it felt like a small gesture that was overlooked. While it wasn’t a terrible experience, it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to.

This place is so good I can almost just vote 5 stars for all and be done with it. Seriously good! I've been using them for about 8 years since they were in the old building at the top of the hill. Had multiple birthdays here, multiple takeaways (I mean a lot). I have never had one issue at all. Every time I go back I'm blown away how good the food is, I'm almost like "do I remember it being THIS good?". Not oily, not heavy, perfect flavour, great choice, one of the only restaurants that actually make the Tikka masala properly madras hot (unlike others that think you can't take it and don't even make it that hot). Staff are like friends you've always known, service is fast. Atmosphere in the new place is to a really high standard. I could be here all day. Eat here with confidence, you will NOT be disappointed. Oh and did I mention the prices are very reasonable too. 5 stars all day long! Thanks guys!!

Food was 1 hour late and forgot items which I am still waiting for

Having lived in Hessle for a number of years now I thought I’d book here as my husband said he’d like to try it one day. It’s a really quaint little place, lovely decor. Yes it’s a bit pricey compared to a pub but what I had was nice. The food was delicious, we both thoroughly enjoyed everything we had although not much meat for the price. The service……not great! We were told which table we were at, not shown to it although it’s a really small place it would have been nice. It took a while for someone to come and take drinks order, we were then told it would be a while for the cocktails. Husbands drink arrived and we ordered started before one of my drinks arrived (ordered 2 for £16). Starters arrived swiftly. I finished my drinks whilst eating the starters, no staff came to ask if we needed anything else. When we finished we then ordered our mains and another 2 cocktails. Mains arrived before my cocktails. When we finished our food and drinks the plates were cleared, empty glasses were left on table. We assumed someone would come back to ask if we wanted desert or another drink…..25 minute’s later nobody had come! Yes plenty of staff around, taking orders from other tables etc that we could have asked but they never caught our eye and never came to us. Just felt that service was a bit poor! Eventually on the way to the toilet I asked for the bill. I don’t like to be constantly fussed over by staff whilst I’m eating out but would have liked some interaction! There seemed to be plenty of staff (waiting staff) so not sure what the issue was. I also noticed that others seemed to be waiting for service!

Me and my daughter have ordered a couple of times, and we love the food. Red thai curry is so good. Daughter has chilli yaki udon and she loved it too. Delivery is very good, from order we waited 10- 15 minutes.

Literally my go to whenever I get the chance!! Food is ten out of ten ❤️
