We went here at short notice for a relaxed supper and were delighted by our meal. In particular the staff were exceptional. Efficient and attentive but also friendly and enthusiastic. The food was good too but the service made the difference. Very impressive.

Appalling Service.. Been many times at this location and it has gone right downhill. Food was good but lacking flavour, I always order the Singapore Laska Noodles With Tofu.. Staff were lacking nutritional and allergen information which is vital for those who have intolerances. Apparently tofu contains milk to than being told 10 minutes later that it does not after me battling an argument that Tofu is vegan as it states on the allergen booklet as well as it being on their website stating vegan. No common sense in customer service, quite rude and not attentive. Received my Laska Noodles, my mum had to wait 20 minutes for hers after I received my food and our starter was missing, so we questioned it. Definitely will not be returning to this branch that used to be our favourite location, instead we will be going elsewhere. Not happy customers.

I've been to numerous Bananna Trees resturaunts, mostly in Oxford but this was the 1st time here. It didnt disappoint. Really tasty food and superb service as always. Had the Phad Thai for mains with Calimari and Dumplings to start. All were really tasty with good portions. It is set on a nice high street with seating outside.

Asistí al Bayswater Banana Tree por mi cumpleaños con la familia. Muy decepcionado con la calidad de los platos, especialmente el plato de pescado en el que el pescado era duro y masticable. He estado allí en muchas ocasiones anteriormente, pero, por primera vez desde el cierre y la calidad ha bajado significativamente por el precio bastante alto que se cobra en el centro de Londres. Sin embargo, el servicio fue bueno y el personal amable. No volveré allí de nuevo en el futuro.

El lugar es agradable y cuidado, por supuesto. Pero la comida es una versión europeizada de la comida asiática. El curry no era tan sabroso, ni los fideos. La calidad era buena pero faltaba el toque sabroso. Creo que está más centrado en dar un ambiente y una ubicación elegantes.

Vi var 8 kolleger som litt tilfeldig havnet på denne uformelle restauranten. Vi ble møtt i døra av en hyggelig kelner som ordnet plass til oss. Vi startet med å dele div småretter, favoritten hos alle var dumplings. Jeg spiste Spicy Noodles, den mest tasty noodlerett jeg har spist ever. De andre var også godt fornøyd med sine retter. Smakfull mat i avslappet atmosfære til en god pris.

Los buñuelos de maíz que venían con los fideos con especias también eran muy sabrosos. Regresamos dos veces en nuestra visita a Londres y tuvimos un gran servicio y comida en ambas ocasiones.

I was craving Thai food during my visit and found the Banana Tree close to my hotel. Staff was very helpful with my food allergies and the food and alcohol free drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I went for my friends birthday dinner on valentine's day. The staff were accommodating and helpful, quick and polite service and piping hot food on the table within 8 minutes of ordering. Food ok, nothing to write home about, but staff make you feel unwelcome from as soon as you order your food. Took away the plate while my partner was still eating and when we asked them for the bill gave us the bill and waited at the table until we quickly paid and left.

We went here for dinner and was recommended ‘Beef Randang’, . In the menu it said it was slow cooked for 4 hours . When it arrived not only was the food cold but the meet was as tough as leather . This guy came and took it away, no word of apology and only came back to say the chef is having a look at it . Well the chef can look at it as long as he likes but we weren’t going to eat it . So we asked for alternative main course . When we asked for bill the same guy came and dumped it on our table . Never again ! Service and quality of food as bad as each other

After weeks of Mediterranean food, we were delighted to find the Banana Tree. We ate here for lunch yesterday and it was so good we ate again there for dinner last night. The satays were as good as any we've had in Indonesia and Malaysia.If you like it spicy, ask to try their homemade chili paste - delicious!

RAW CHICKEN - The family and I (8 people) visited Banana Tree in Bayswater on the 20th of June 2019, ordered some chicken satay (image attached) unfortunately the kids ate the 1st portion and have been unwell since. The chef was unwilling to accept the chicken was raw, even though ITS BLOOD RED INSIDE! Management still charged us £50 for the drinks we had ... Satay House in Paddington is a far better restaurant with COOKED food

Nice ambiance, nice mocktails and not too badly priced. The problem here was the uncooked chicken satay starter that had us worried we would fall I'll. Honestly it was very pink and when we questioned the waitress she went and asked the chef who said it was cooked but 'it was the quality of the chicken'...hmmm....she did let us choose another starter which was the Kalahari and that was tasty.

Visited a yesterday to grab some food after work, and it was amazing. The menu has quite a few things to choose from and the quality is on point. Customer service was excellent, especially from Kamile who served me. Will definitely be visiting again very soon!!

Everything was wonderful here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Yummy food. And one of the best gin and tonics I’ve had in town yet. I had the crispy chicken with mango and sweet lime sauce. Delicious!

I don't usually write reviews but I was extremely happy with my visit to this restaurant. I received exceptional service from Kamile who was the waitress who looked after me. I only went there for a quick meal and ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice. The size of the portion was suitable for the price it was. However for how filling and tasty it was I would have paid more. I would definitely return and try other dishes!
