Pattaya salad was not as spicy as I’d like, but everything else was spot on

The food here was so boring and unauthentic we had to ask if they had a Thai or a European chef. They confirmed one Thai and one non Thai. I have to assume we just got very unlucky and got the one who had never cooked Thai food before. The fish cakes were small but packed with flavor. Really nice. The papaya salad was a wet mush with zero flavor - just watery tasteless something with zero flavor of Thailand. Inedible. The dish with chilli and basil was nice, well presented and flavor some - rice was like leftovers from day before and no texture flavor or moistness. Like day before Chinese take away and nothing like jasmine rice. Tofu vegetable fried rice was beyond dreadful - a mess of brown mush and tough old tofu you could hardly chew. Zero flavor and not a hint of Thailand. If I were to rate without the Chicken Thai Basil I’d have given it a zero for food quality. I had even asked for them to make the rice tofu “thai spicy” and their reply was “you can add the chilli sauce at the table” - sauce that had no resemblance to thai flavors. The staff are young, nice, helpful and polite and, without me asking, they removed the price of the tofu rice from the bill - a cute gesture but in soho with so much competition if you are going to call yourself a Thai cafe then you need to make authentic thai food.

The Delicious food and very friendly service, although they take a while to serve and the space is small. El Pato simply SPECTACULAR To recommend 👍🏻

Group of 4 enjoyed Very nice Red , Green thai curries and Pad thai.

Went for lunch, we had to wait a bit of time for someone to take our order. Some of the items we did order never arrived, though we weren’t charged for it. However the food was really good! Lovely atmosphere & great location.

So delicious. Very easy going vibe when you don’t want to stress about atmosphere and reservations. Perfect for a casual dinner.

The authentic Thai cuisine, staff and cleanliness of this place was great. Would recommend. Two staff members, Nok and Noy, made my visit so much better with their hospitality!!

Very disappointing. It’s my second time in a row when there is no Tom Yam and Tom Kha soup noodles. My Pad Thai was greasy and tasteless. The service is terrible, the waitress was super slow, uninterested and a bit rude. Never again

Had some problems getting to my arranged reservation owing to ridiculous traffic, rang up, they very kindly managed to squeeze me in half an hour later than I was expected and kept the table. Got there eventually, and enjoyed the food! Just as I had hoped having owned the Rosa Thai cookbook for many years, all the textures and flavours were there and in many aspects even surpassed. Mixed platter excellent and the mains were sound. However, despite how busy you are, no excuses for not talking people's plates away from the starters before you serve the mains! Come on! Do better! But would happily visit Rosa's either there or elsewhere in the UK.

Service was bad. Had no desert that was stated on set menu! Very disappointing and good taste sweet! Poor service and did not make up for not having food that we paid for!!!

Our dinner was lovely, we got our food so fast and it was tasty. The Red Dragon cocktail was the perfect choice for pre drink. Aleja was very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcoming. Looking forward to go back again.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait a while before we could order. The ambience is good, but prices are a bit more expensive in comparison.

Firstly want to say we have used Rosa’s regularly either in London or up here in Birmingham and always had a fantastic experience, great food and service. Sadly Sunday afternoon at the Soho outlet was a totally bad experience, we had booked as it we wanted to be certain of getting a table ahead of going to a concert, we were hustled to a poky table at the back of the Cafe, we’d barely sat down and the waiter for rushing to take our order which felt quite intimidating. Starters arrived, well one did, in the rush he’d forgotten to place the second order. Then the mains, the sticky rice was a solid slab of something totally inedible, I asked for a new portion, my Duck Curry was left on the table to go cold so when the new portion of rice arrived I had to send the Curry back to be warmed, low and behold the second rice portion was exactly the same, at that point enough was enough and I had to send the whole meal back, my partner said the Pad Thai was ok. We explained we would be leaving and didn’t expect to pay, too be fair the other member of staff went to find the manager but they didn’t see fit to come to deal with our complaint, very poor. We left thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience, it was explained that our original server was new, no excuse, also to mention there were staff asleep on full view to customers in the down stairs area, not great presentation. Will we go back to Rosa’s Thai? we hope so, fingers crossed this was a one off but it definitely wont be back to Dean Street, Soho.

The best Tom ka coconut soup I’ve ever had. I had it with oyster mushrooms and it was fantastic. The Thai fish cakes were not my favorite but I didn’t remove any points as I asked for the recommendation and it is not what I would normally order so that is not their fault. Highly recommend.

(We went this place way before pandemic) A "cafe" that automatically charges 12.5% service charge and doesn't allow you to sit where you want even when completely empty, the result of which was when another couple eventually came in they were told to sit right next to our table so we had only a little privacy and it was awkward.. Portions are VERY small and it took 3 attempts to receive the correct change!! they tried brush it off and we found out why - they didn't have enough change in their cashier! eventually they gathered coins from the tip jar. Re: table Waitress said "it's a cafeee..so you can't choose a table" and forced us to have the table by the window (I guess that means we are a good display on/by the window) , we could feel the draught from the window as I guess it's not double grazing and didn't enjoy the meal. UPDATE -- I never got reply from the cafe with my review so it means they don't care about us once they got our money! Never again.

I got the red curry pineapple duck with coconut rice. The flavors were incredible. Sweet and spicy and everything cooked perfect. Highly recommended if you like duck!!

Rosa's quality never disappoints regardless where I go!! It is like they have the same incredible cook; which they all share!! But what made this place more amazing was the customer service!! For instance, Aleja and his colleague were warm and welcomed , and this adds more flavour to our meal!! By the way! You can't never go wrong with the green or red curry!! But, this is a BIG BUT!! Their MASSAMAN BEEF CURRY was made for the God!! Holly Moses!! I am dreaming of this every weekend now!!

Hello! I had an excellent experience at Rosa‘s Thai Soho. The Pad Thai was exceptional, one of the best I‘ve ever had. Additionally, Himal, our server, was incredibly friendly and one of the best servers I‘ve ever met, especially like his attitude while working. The visit was very enjoyable and i would definitely return.

This is a chain which I've been wanting to try for a while. The green curry with beef was really tasty and flavorful. Generous portion size and very filling. The chicken and beef are halal in this location.

Excellent food!!! We had the spring rolls, drunken noodles and pad Thai. Device was fantastic as well!!! Tried the Thai PA Beer and was also pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I had dinner today with my friend. The server Harry gave us exceptional service. Even though it was busy, the staff were all very accommodating. The food was delicious. Would absolutely recommend definitely revisiting!!!

Really bad customer service - my aunt needed seating with a suitable backrest, but the staff member who served us refused to offer suitable options. The restaurant was empty and appropriate seating was available for this, so the staff member chose not to accommodate. Extremely disappointing considering good service in other Rosa’s restaurants. Won’t be returning to this one.

We went here a couple years ago and remembered it so fondly that we decided to go again while visiting London. Happy to get a "walk-in" table on a time limit. Would recommend booking! Helpful and considerate when saying one of us was a coeliac. Gluten Free pad thai for the win :)

Himal was great and a really attentive waiter! Food came fast and was pretty good.

Booked a table for 4, it was a Saturday evening so was very busy. We were promptly seated, after that it all went down hill. Ordered drinks which took ages to arrive even after asking several times, starters turned up with the mains, then incorrect meals were bought out. The staff were very untrained and didn’t understand basic English. The mains came out cold and the food quality was very disappointing. In fairness they did deduct 20% off the bill, but then did also leave the 10% tip on still. A disappointing visit and not a restaurant I would recommend or visit again

Bit rushed because we were last out (they close quite early), but the food is great

Absolutely shocking behaviour by the staff. We arrived 15 minutes late, although we tried to phone them and let them know - had it not been for the automated voice message! On arrival, we got told that our table had been given away and that the next one would be in 20 minutes. After forty minutes, we returned and the manager was extremely rude, snarkily comment on how late we were as she had failed to listen properly and realise that we had been told to come back and not simply showed up an hour late expecting to be seated! We were left standing for another twenty minutes, being rudely spoken to by the staff before deciding to leave - I was certainly not going to be giving my money to people who treat customers so poorly. I haven’t tried to the food but would definitely not recommend based on the staff and the customer service offered!

I love this restaurant, perfect pork skewers with a chicken stir fry and lovely cooked jasmine rice :) The you laddie was lovely and a asset to this restaurant

Mediocre food and no facilities for children - neither a changing table or even space to leave a pushchair/pram

we came because we saw the good reviews but we left disappointed…we were sat in the basement right by the stairs on a sticky table. they have a large menu with a lot of food and it was very good but the portion are not enough and the drinks are served in a can. we ordered noodles and crispy chicken but they didn’t served it at the same time. my friends plate was cold by the time the chicken came. The price aren’t that expensive but for this kind of service…

I had booked but when we went in there was no attempt to reference the booking. Had they done so they would have seen that it was my birthday. That got completely overlooked. My friend and I both shared the same starter - summer rolls - and it came as one meal with three rolls on it. We would have preferred to each have had our own starter and maybe got two rolls each. We had ordered two starters each and asked for them to come one after the other. We were rushed and the second one came too soon. My chicken satay was luke warm and not fresh. We were underwhelmed by the food. The restaurant looked shabby and it wasn’t very comfortable. We will not be going back.

Pretty standard Thai food, nothing ground breaking but good sized portions and freshly made. Quick service despite being busy and the staff were friendly.

The food was tasty but portion sizes were on the smaller size. As many have said, rice is extra and not included in the meals. Restaurant is small and awkward, but the staff were lovely and helpful so I cannot fault them.

Our first visit to Rosa’s last night was a hit.Although the menu is quite limited the quality of the food was excellent, can recommend the beef massaman and also the cashew nut stir fry.Even though we went early the restaurant was exceptionally busy so probably best to make a reservation 👍

Tock a long time to be served lady was nice , food turned up very quick obviously not fresh most probably microwaved , I had curry with tofu all it had in it was sauce chilli and hard small lumps off tofu , had to pay extra for rice , others drunken noodles, all were small plates of food all very underwhelming would never go back , advice only use if desperate

Probably one of the worst rosas I've been to. The green curry was bitter and tasted awful. Usually one of their better dishes. Did not enjoy the meal at all

We had the pad-see-ewe and pad Thai, very good. The noodles had a wonderful firmer texture but not too hard, almost a like al dente which we loved and have not experienced elsewhere. Staff let us order 15 mins before closing, very kind.

Ordered TomYam Noodles and Crab Khao Pad. Absolutely not tasty. No crab meat at all in the fried rice. I could do better. Table next to us refused to pay service charge as it was so bad. Tried once and never again.

Came as a party of two, ordered beef massaman curry and steamed rice to share. The actual curry sauce was quite tasty, but unfortunately there wasn’t much beef, and the chunks that were actually in the curry were very tough and dry. As for service, it wasn’t good. The food came fairly quickly, but there was no cutlery on the table, even when our food was brought and we had to ask several times for basic things. It was pretty annoying and they also messed up our receipt on multiple items. Maybe it was just this particular branch, but we didn’t like our experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

I hadn't been to Rosa's for a while as it was a favourite of my ex-partner. Last night we managed to get a last minute table at 8.45 on New Years Day. The portions are slightly larger and the food seemed better prepared and cooked to order. I missed the 3 Chili Spicy Fish plate they used to do, so instead tried their brand new Tamarind Crispy Duck with rice. Wow! Amazing!! Good sized duck breast with crispy skin served on green veg with a pile of soft steamed rice! My only concern is that my partner chose a 3Chili curry which was definitely lacking in heat! I wonder if they should add 4 and 5 chilli options as the spicy dishes are much too tame. Apart from that we had a good meal with a carafe of wine for about £30 a head... maybe a tad expensive for a shared delicious calamari starter and 2 main courses, but for New Year's Day it really hit the spot!!

The best Drunken Noodles in town!!! Loved the atmosphere and would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone else I meet who wants good asian/thai food!! We will definitely be back here for sure!

Today i had the pleasure of dining at Rosas thai soho. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Reg the food, it was a symphony of flavors! Each dish showcased the skill and passion of the chef. From the vibrant curries to the perfectly cooked noodles, every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this thai restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Thai culinary adventure with outstanding service.

Rosas has always been great in our experience but this specific location was not. Food was outstanding but the staff were generally pretty poor. One chap in particular could’ve been brought in off the street or woken up & dragged into the the restaurant he was so slow. I’d happily visit Rosa’s again but won’t return here.

Tom Yum soup is relatively refreshing. The fried pork with soy sauce and cashew nuts is salty and greasy, similar to Chinese food, not very authentic. The service was excellent. Nice atmosphere but quite crowded. Although there are a lot of chili peppers on the menu, they are not very spicy.

Excellent Thai food in the heart of “Seven Dials.” Great location to escape the foot traffic at night. Very compact dining room but where in London doesn’t have a compact dining room? Staff took great care to accommodate our stroller to not wake the sleeping baby! Superb service and highly recommended!

Very Bad experience in family The waitress was unpleasant It seems like we were botherîg her all the time !!!!! Nous avons réserve pour 20 h et a 20 h30 a peine, les deux serveuses faisaient le ménage autour de nous en nous faisant comprendre de nous dépêcher. Les plats sont a moitié lances sur la table. Aucun sourire Ces serveuses devraient faire un autre boulot Dommage car la nourriture est plutôt bonne
