I was very happy with the service and food I received at Yori. The meat was fresh and tasty, and the Tteokbokki was out of this world. If you are looking for a protein boost with a lot of different and delicious flavours, Yori is the place for you!

Great service from our waitress Angela. Food was served quickly and pretty good. Though for others, like us who have spent time in Korea and studied Korean cooking... it's not as authentic nor as spicy as it should be. For london not bad though...

2.7*. Food was fine. At all my previous experiences with Korean bbq they offer to cook it at the table for you…disappointed this was never offered. We went peak time on a Friday and I also find it shocking that the management thought 6-7pm on a Friday was the time to do their admin and all I was staring at was them going through receipts. Also found the tables very small. Struggled to fit the dishes we ordered for 4 people. Just felt like nothing was properly thought though.

We were not greeted for 5 minutes when we walked in and were just ignored. When we finally got sat we were told we just order on our phones and there will be no waiter. We noticed every other table had a full waiter but for some reason we were told to just order on our phones. We ordered some food and drinks. My friends food came out 10 minutes before mine and our drinks never came. The mobile ordering app even says “order at the same time so your food all arrives to the table at the same time” - which didn’t turn out to be true. They never even offered if we wanted water. We were almost done with our meal and asked 3 times if we could get our drinks and they finally showed up but since we didn’t have a waiter we would have to just flag down people walking by. The food wasn’t bad but the service was a complete let down.

Really great place for Korean food, I would definitely visit again. I loved the kimchi jjigae, and it wasn't too spicy which is good for me. I marked down a bit on service as I asked for water 3 times before getting it unfortunately. But food came out quick too.

I recently visited Yori for my first Korean BBQ experience, and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Kazi and walking me through how to cook the meat and pair it with the side dishes. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly on the grill. The variety of banchan (side dishes) added so much to the meal, and the sauces were delicious. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a fun night out. If you’re new to Korean BBQ, this is a great place to start! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more.

Kazi - SK was friendly and accommodating despite being busy with other customers. We lived in South Korea for several years, and the experience brought us back in time. The food was excellent and authentic. However, the portions could be improved, as they were proportionately smaller.

It was a bit confusing as we were relocated 3 times at a table due to the business of the restaurant, but Kazi made us feel welcome and at home! The food is fantastic, and overall, I would consider coming here again. A great place, but perhaps at a less hush time!

We loved Angela’s customer service and she was very accommodating. Provided vegan options and tripled checked with the kitchen. Soft Tofu Jiggae is one of my favourite dishes ever and I’m glad they’re had the vegan option available at the Piccadilly Circus branch! ✨🎉✨

We made an online reservation for a table on 1 Jan. We received confirmation email, but when we arrive the restaurant, it is CLOSED! It is so annoying! If you plan the closure, you SHOULD NOT CONFIRM THE BOOKING!

Amazing restaurant. Grace was the best host we could ask for.

The chef seems to have read about Korean hot pot on Wikipedia and interpreted it in their own way. It had nothing to do with the Korean hot pot I’ve eaten before. There were no sauce options, the seafood was frozen, not fresh, and there was no proper ventilation, so all our clothes ended up smelling heavily of grease.

Waited over 30 min to have our order taken 🥲 so we left

I visited this restaurant with a friend for lunch. Although it was a busy lunchtime and there was a minor communication error between the kitchen and the serving staff, Grace handled the situation efficiently and professionally. She even offered us an extra dish as an apology, which was a lovely gesture. The food was absolutely delicious, great value for money, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I ate pork belly, LA ribs, and kimchi pancake, and I wondered if this food was Korean food. Even the pork belly was seasoned and had a strange aroma. To be honest, the service was good and the atmosphere was young, but the food was not very good. I've been to a lot of Korean restaurants overseas, but the quality of this is something I can only count on one hand;; It seemed to be popular with Chinese and local people. It's a good idea.

It was the first delicious Korean food I had in a long time. It wasn't until I cleaned off all the food on my plate that I realized I had forgotten to take a picture. Thanks to the hearty meal at YORI, I was able to walk 20,000 steps. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, Grace!

It was so delicious! The atmosphere was like a restaurant, so I was nervous when I went in, but I was surprised that the prices were so reasonable. I couldn't believe there was a Korean restaurant this cheap in London! The kimchi fried rice is just like the ones I had in Korea, and the chicken is especially delicious. I definitely want to visit next time I come to London! Grace's service was especially friendly :)

Absolutely delicious Korean food. The vegetarian Japche was so delicious. Grace was amazing and took time to understand our dietary restrictions and recommended some amazing dishes. She took extra care to instruct the kitchen and we got our order as we wanted. Would love to come back 💕

We had a reservation for 8pm and didn't get seated until 8.20pm, it was Saturday so we were not too surprised however we were not informed that the table had a time limit for the BBQ so less than one hour later around 9.10ish pm they just brought us the check while we were still eating without asking us if we wanted anything else and literally just dropped the bill on the table and walked off. This was already after a very bad service from the blond waitress with glasses. I asked before ordering, since she didn't ask for allergies which she must do by law and she didn't, if the kimchi was vegetarian as their online menu had the kimchi rice listed as vegetarian. she said she thought it was but wasn't sure. I told her to check as traditionally kimchi is made with anchovies sauce. she came back after checking with the kitchen and said that the item was vegetarian because it's made with fish and shellfish sauce but the actually meat of the fish is not inside. I looked at her to make sure she was being serious and told her that then the item is not vegetarian and she insisted that it wasn't vegan but vegetarian. clearly she didn't have a clue about allergies and dietary requirements nevermind what vegetarian means and the chef knew even less. also shellfish is one of the 14 allergens that must be declared by law it's absurd that it's contained in dishes and the waitress doesn't know she must ask before taking an order. then another waiter brought us the meat for the BBQ but not the oil to grease the bbq with. appalling service, we will not be returning and I wanted to ask for the service charge to be taken off but the group in front of us did and and was subjected to a questioning as to why they didn't want to pay for it. stay away, there are much better korean restaurants in London.

We were served by Kazi, Dhaval and Gani and they were amazingly friendly and welcoming! We totally enjoyed the experience including the vibe, food quality and the service. Will definitely come back soon! This place is also affordable!

The food at Piccadilly is really delicious. It's not much different from what I eat in Korea. Plus, Grace kindly served us, so we ate comfortably.

It was the most delicious Korean food I had while in England. Everyone in the group ate every single piece of it. Tteokbokki, kimchi stew, yukgaejang, soft tofu, budae stew, seafood and green onion pancakes were truly the best. Grace’s friendly Korean service is also excellent.

The best Korean food I've had in the UK. I've eaten at a few other places, but this one is the most delicious! As someone who must eat Korean food (I ate the wrong food in foreign countries), this is the best. If you want to eat Korean food, definitely eat here. Highly recommended! Thank you, GRACE. I love the food at Yori and I've been many times. That being said, yesterday I had a frustrating experience and want to leave a record (turned into an essay lol) so that hopefully staff can better address similar situations in the future. Also this will hopefully warn others to avoid the problem I had. TLDR: I came on my own and had no booking (nobody else did amongst 8 people in the queue) I was told to wait like the rest. I waited 30 minutes whilst starving. Everyone other than me was seated. When it came to my turn I was told there were no tables and abruptly asked to leave with no explanation. The whole time I could see 1 small empty table where I could have be seated. The details: I arrived at the restaurant on my own without a reservation at 4:55pm, and started queuing behind ~8 other people. The place was busy. Within a couple of minutes the first few were seated (they had no reservation) and the rest of us queing were asked if we had a reservation (none of us did) and told to wait. I waited a total of 30 minutes in queue, 25 of which the staff was aware of me having told me to wait. Everyone ahead of me was seated eventually. During the whole time I was waiting I could see at least one small empty table where I could have been seated, but this was not offered to me. Possibly it was reserved, but nobody used it. By the time I was first on the queue there were at least 10 other people behind me. Groups of different sizes, some with reservations, some without. Finally when my turn came, I was abruptly told: "sorry, we have no tables" and asked to leave. This was awful after waiting for 30 minutes and after seeing many other people without a reservation being seated. I can only imagine that they may not have wanted to offer me a table because I was on my own, and there were other people behind me so they may make more money by seating a group of two instead on my place. Well, long term, that strategy may backfire. I've been to Yori at least 20 times before, and have brought my partner, family members and friends (perhaps 8 different people that I can recall) with me. So Yori has made decent business out of me over the last couple of years. After this experience I am far less likely to return or to recommend the place. Short term seating 2 people instead of 1 may yield slightly more profit (better utilisation of space, although less than 2x revenue since 1 person typically orders, eats and leaves much faster than 2). Treating a customer so poorly means that long-term the customer won't return or refer the restaurant. Although there are many variables at play and it's hard to estimate, an incident like this may cost a restaurant hundreds or even thousands of pounds of lost future revenue if the customer never returns and stops referring the place. I'd venture a restaurant will lose a lot of potential revenue if treating people like this. Unless it relies mainly on one-off visits from tourists rather than regulars, which some in this central location do. Yori has many branches though, so it doesn't reflect well in the brand. The place was very busy as mentioned earlier, so I am sure staff was a bit overwhelmed and a bit disorganised and that's why this regrettable incident happened. Not claiming this was some sort of personal attack. All in all, great food, but don't do on your own, and don't go without reservation unless you are prepared to wait for 30 minutes and risk being told to leave afterwards.

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve enjoyed it every time. Very good Korean food. BBQ is delicious I’ve also liked the other dishes. I’ve also been to the one in Covent Garden, but that one is smaller.

I found the food to be bland and overpriced. Food did not have much of a flavour. I kept adding spicy sauce so it had a little bit of flavour. It's not worth the price nor the hype. Also there is no Korean staff which I find odd since YORI is supposed to be a Korean restaurant. At the bennig the waitress was friendly and welcoming and got me to sit down fairly quickly and I was impressed considering I did not book it. The service was okay. At the end of the meal there was service charge added on top of the bill. Since the food was expensive, I have politely asked one of the staff members if it was possible to remove the service charge as I was already paying so much money when I didn't like the food that much and a member of staff got defensive and said "why? It's a team effort". He guilt trip me into paying something I did not want to pay which I find it to be rude and inconsiderate. From my experience, I wouldn't recommend it to be honest.

An amazing dinner prepared quite close to closing time, particularly enjoyed the seafood kimchi pancakes and the radish kimchi. Kazi provided great service throughout the meal!

We went for the beef selection and cooked it to our own liking on the barbecue. The meat was very delicious and tender, the sides really good as well. The best part was the sauces they gave us, one peanuty and another oil. For the things we didn’t quite like - the table was very small and it was a bit uncomfortable to eat. The service was decent but not great, quite slow and we had to ask for things a couple of times before we got them. Overall the dining experience was good.

It was nice to come here to see a musical and then eat some simple Korean food. The restaurant is not big so it is narrow. Travel in 2023.

This place offers great Korean dishes. I did think that portion was not enough for me, but their quality was great regardless. A lovely waiter called Kazi served us & he did a fantastic job looking after us.

We booked a table at Yori Restaurant because our friend was craving Korean BBQ. We found the restaurant on Google, and it looked delicious, so we decided to make a reservation. We arrived 5 minutes before our booking time, but no one informed us about the waiting time. Then, a large group with the same booking time as ours arrived, and they were seated before us. We waited 20 minutes for our table, only to be seated at a cramped table with one head seat. This was inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially for the person seated at the head since guests kept walking past them. We would understand if we were walk-ins, but we had booked a table in advance. The experience ruined our mood, and when we saw the table, we decided not to eat anymore. I don’t usually leave negative complaints, but this situation was disappointing and frustrating. It’s unfortunate that this happened.

Really loved the place. Went for my friends birthday and Dhaval was very helpful in serving and telling me where to get the cake and preparing candles and bringing out the cake for us. Overall very nice people and nice food. Self barbecue was also a nice experience!
