Half of the items on the menu are unavailable, because this is a smaller banana tree restaurant according to the girl who served us. Then perhaps they should have a different menu instead? The table is greasy and sticky. A deep clean is long overdue.

Tasty main, no GF starters as out of the one option and kitchen closed at 9.25pm so no desserts! Waitress was so disinterested in providing service. Restaurant was freezing as heating wasn’t on. Such a shame - this use to be a great local restaurant.

Banana Tree Maida Vale is my favourite restaurant in the area! I had the prawn pad thai which was amazing, and Nishika made the experience even better by checking in on us to make sure everything was going well! The service is very quick and always exemplary. Thank you so much!

Cozy restaurant with intimate atmosphere and a good food selection. I had a grilled duck which was a little overdone for my liking but the marinade was so moreish I couldn’t stop eating this dish🙈 Jamni was very lovely and friendly during our visit.

Having tried many different Banana Tree branches, we think this one is by far the best in terms of spice, speed of service and exceptional staff (thank to Bhavtik for all his tips at our last visit!) would highly recommend. Would also like to thank Nishika for her recommendations. Our compliments to the chef as this laksa is always very coconuty and delicious 👍

Very nice Asian restaurant that has 40% of its menu vegan and is proud of it. The vegan options are well marked on the menu and the dishes we chose were very tasty and interesting. Nishika's service was very attentive! I highly recommend it!

Ordered via the Banana Tree website for click and collect, had no confirmation email or text. Money was taken out of the order nonetheless. Very unhelpful in trying to reach a resolution for either refunding and reordering or honouring order. Once we got fed up and placed another order anyway in shop staff were difficult about second part of order, wanting proof of it and was difficult and rude despite showing confirmation email and bank details. Food tasted okay but portions were rather small and still hungry after. Very stressful and frustrating order.
