Took a long time for the restaurant to start preparing the food. Korma was not very pleasant.

Food was great pre-covid. Unfortunately did not seem to be reopening anymore and phone disconnected.

It's the first time in years I've visited an Indian restaurant. We didn't need to book and were instantly seated. The dishes are reasonably priced and there is a good choice. The meal came quickly and was very tasty. The staff were friendly, but as I've found in many Indian restaurants, we did feel a little pushed and watched. It was a nice meal, but not as casual and relaxed as I was hoping.

From dining in to having our 1st takeaway from Kolkata is equally a great service from this restaurant. Our meal was delicious as always but what was a special touch on delivery was our complimentary poppadoms and dips PLUS 2 small cans of Old Mout Cider to drink. How lovely is that! I went there with my Indian girlfriend.If she cooks me like this I will marry her.

Don’t have takeout curry often but Gurkha has always been my go to. Had my usual Pokhara masala which used to be the best curry I ever tasted but tonight it had the spice but flavour was very bland. Lemon rice was also bland and stodgy and onion baji’s flavourless. Appreciated the free poppadoms, spiced onions and dips but the starter and main was no better than a supermarket microwave curry. I was disappointed tonight unfortunately.

This is an Amazing ,Cosy family restaurant . I absolutely loved the quality, tasty food. Portions are big, tables are set up really nice. Food is served very hot in temperature ,prices great, place is clean. Also service is spot on. The Staff are welcoming and always there for you. Must be visited!!!.

Awful experience simple as that. Waste of time & money. Food was freezing on delivery also what a disaster. Avoid 100% no.doubt.
