Wing's Chinese Kitchen in Mendip

I always buy their food for delivery at home, I’m not one for restaurants, but the food is excellent, I’ve ordered a number of dishes in the past and everything was cooked beautifully. I’d recommend wings Chinese food to anyone, it’s my favourite take away.

This was almost definitely the best Chinese meal we’ve ever had, they even slightly altered one of the dishes to suite our requirements. It was faultless! We don’t need to go anywhere else now we’ve found our Chinese takeaway. Record highly.

Always get delivery from here piping hot food and never had a bad meal from here ...definitely my favourite.

The best Chinese i have had for a long time. The portions were great and the curry was thick and full of meat. Ordered for 2x people but could have been for 4!

Placed an order for delivery as always, told 45mins to an hour. Get a text message to say its not coming as out of their range yet always deliver here. No time to Organise as back to work. Bloody terrible customer care

My chicken balls were absolutely exquisite but they took 5 business days to arrive so I’m not to happy on that end of the stick and mash

We had our first Chinese takeaway from Wings kitchen last night 17/8. It was delicious and I highly recommend this takeaway. They delivered our Chinese for a small fee and the food arrived piping hot. Friendly service and very reasonably priced.

The best Chinese food in the area. We've been coming for 3 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great quality food, fast service and huge admiration for the staff.

After living in street for 8 months I finally made my first order here today and I will be back for sure. The food was hot, quickly prepared, great portions and tasted amazing.. by far the best Chinese I've had in a long time!!

Excellent. We were staying in Glastonbury but it was not a problem for them to deliver to us. The food is really good and one of the best we have had in a long time. Highly recommended.

I live In Glastonbury and this chineese place always delivers on time everything! 30 mins usually it's so fast and the owner has a system which comes up with your address without having to go through it all again. Quality of food is best around here and always enjoy the food, thanks for coming to edgarley close on time everything with good food and customer service 😋

Good menu choice here. Ordered meals for 9 people over the phone, told it would be ready in half an hour. Picked up at agreed time and food was ready, so no waiting around. Meals were good and enjoyed by everyone. Everything we ordered was there plus some complimentary prawn crackers.

Some items are really good, but really don't bother with their chicken curry. Worst I've had.

Wil not answer the phone when they are there.. when the the food turns up eventually it’s cold.. what a disappointment..

Didn't have much of a choice at the time we went. Food wasn't that great not much taste and I think it was expensive for what it was...not big enough portions for the price you pay...

The worst food i have ever tasted and the owner very rude on the phone and food was dry ,cold, and stunk of urine it was disgusting it went in the bin and also.had a horrid taste of salt ,yuk never again advoid at all costs

ate here the other day, fed a duck to my little lass amy she enjoyed the special ingredient i added of my own she said it was very salty and creamy 👍

Amazing food, best chinese food that I've ever had!

I called Wings to enquire about any Gluten Free alternatives to their current menu. The person who answered the phone was confused by my request, he asked someone else who said no straight away. He then came back onto the phone to say he cannot accommodate any changes to the menu, to check I asked if he could leave out the soy sauce or wheat and he replied "We cannot alter the menu in any way" No understanding of allergies, not bothered. Very dissapointing.

Went to wings 30/10/2020 my son had seshwan beef the beef was smelly and slimy totally inedible had to drive 5 miles to get there couldnt be bothered to take it back wont be going there in our stay here.

We've used them many times for home delivery and have never had any cause for complaint. Food has always been exactly as ordered, piping hot and excellent quality. Good portions too. Highly recommended.

Ok it was new years eve and yes they were busy but the order was delivered late and cold. Its not the best chinese most ofthe time but my normal oriental chef in Glastonbury was shut so gave it another go. They missed dishes and brought wrong orders too. I don't know ? Do they realise we as customers pay hard earned money for this treat why cant they get it right its so annoying .

I ate here this week... I gotta say it was pretty poor... £7 odd for a mix seafood dish which is more than reasonable... however it came out cold, cooked in some sort of soft mushy batter ... had it stated it came in batter I would not have ordered it and by the time I scraped it all off it looked pretty appalling also. I won't return.

Don’t expect quick service. When the food did arrive it was dry and burnt (microwave cooked by the look of it) As locals we won’t be returning or recommending to anyone.

The food was very nice, swiftly cooked whilst we waited. Unfortunately, a dish was missed from our order that we were charged for and upon getting home and calling Wings, I was told there was only one of the dish on the ticket. As it is a cash only place, with no receipt, I had no come back. Very dissapointed.

Comprehensive Chinese and Korean menu. Generally quick except at peak times. All the takeaway favourites and some interesting dishes to try.

Always had lovely food fresh food from wings! Definitely the best Chinese in the area by far!! Knocked off a star because there has been a couple of times the food has been warm not piping hot but still tastes yummy!

Ooh what a good meal! Had the vegetarian set meal for 2, they made alterations to it to omit the egg for us. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely return!

Just ordered chow Mein & was able to collect within 20min, which was good as its peak time now. Meat & veg, as well as noodles were great but overall not the best dish I've eaten. When I got home it was already half cold & very salty, shame as I heard good things. Usually i go to Glastonbury & think I will return as prices are lower too.

Always have a good takeaway from Wings. On lazy days the delivery service is good in town. A good menu and consistently greatfood.

We all enjoyed our takeaway from Wings last night, delivered on time, hot and tasty food. We had spring rolls, king prawn dishes and chicken chow mien with egg fried rice. All the food was a high standard and deserves praise for an efficient delivery service which was extremely prompt, thank you.

The pancakes coming with the aromatic crispy duck were microwaved, not made in-house and far too thick. They were a bit like a leather cloth. And the duck was tough, not tender as we had it in better restaurants. And this tough duck and leather pancakes were more expensive than good quality aromatic crispy duck, even when had in high-end London! So: worst Chinese I've had in years and I will never go there again.

Just moved to the area , it was recommended to us , tonight was our third visit, first two meals lovely and fresh but tonight was so bad we couldn't eat it , chips and chicken balls clearly days old and reheated , chow main tasteless... not going back ...

Excellent restaurant. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Both my husband and I thought it was the best Chinese meal we had ever eaten.

This was the first time for me to order in Wings kitchen. And the food was terrible. Ordered Crispy chicken and Chicken cashew. Crispy chicken is worst and not edible. It was too hard and not crispy. Full of starch and sugar and it went straight to bin. Will not recommend this place for anyone who likes healthy chinese meal.

Worst food ever. Crispy shredded cat hair. There is more doh on the chickenballs then the Michelin man and slimy like a car wash. Won tons, springs rolls were fine but same quality as an asda £1 box. The ribs were floating in diahorrea. The king prawn rice was ok but a steamed rice packet and prawn ring from Iceland would be better! Avoid like the plague cos you'll likely get it after eating Here!

Always good service. Can't big them up enough. Adds and takes stuff out for the kids. Always friendly and polite, even stops and chats when we meet in town. Use again and again.

Have ordered a few times for a home delivery to Glastonbury from Wings, excellent service and food arrived quickly every time and was piping hot and delicious, delivery was free when spending over £17 or only £1 if not!!, was even able to pay with my card over the phone and was given a receipt for the payment on delivery, excellent takeaway highly recommend will be using them again regularly

First experience, worried about other reviewers but they were not recent. Judging by the past experience. Wings have upped their game, food delivered hot, on time, and very tasty. will be ordering again.

I've waited a hour for our food to arrive and I'm now been waiting for some of the food to be replaced so the rest is now going cold! (Not far off from cold), I'm not happy at all, normally there is no issues... but I am definitely thinking about ordering from here again. Very poor service!! Then I just rang up Wing's again and I spoke to a manager he even put the phone down on me! Disgusting service!! (Very unhappy Customer)
