Excellent food with warm service

Honestly. Finding gluten free and vegan food which is tasty is quite hard but here at the cafe you will be wonderfully impressed! This is what I call a hidden gem. Give it a go I cannot recommend it enough. ! Food is very very delicious and every time I go to Frome I like to support the cause x

Fantastic place, fantastic welcome, brilliant staff, food stunning. On holiday from Cornwall, if I was more local we would come in weekly . Nothing to fault this gem. Can thoroughly recommend the house hash , followed by the chocolate brownie.

Fantastic cafe in the heart of Frome, great soul food, relaxed vibe

A really welcoming space and I just love the idea behind it. The food was delicious and if you can, take time to read the noticeboards inside to learn more about their values. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to pay it forward, buying meals in advance for people who would appreciate something to eat.

So glad I discovered this lovely café on my visit to Frome. My friend and I were made so welcome and the food was delicious. I had the House Hash, beautifully cooked by Jo, which could convert me to becoming a vegetarian! I thoroughly recommend a visit; what a wonderful job these kind people are doing for the community.

The Good Heart provided a wonderful warm welcome to Frome for us! Gluten free options available and a great kids menu. Everything was really reasonably priced and we loved their pay it forward initiative.

Love the concept and totally support! Sadly I went to eat there and thought they ‘should’ have been open according to the website and posted hours in door they were closed. I suggest calling ahead before expecting to eat there.

Used to be an excellent Tibetan food establishment run by the most gracious of hosts, apparently all the quality food left when he did. I've had to downgrade my 5 star review to a one star as they've totally ruined what used to be the best eatery in Frome and yet continue to ride on someone else's reputation. Most people would have the common decency to clear all the five star reviews earned by someone else's hard work, but not this place apparently, need I say more? No wonder they have to give away free tea!

Lovely food and the people that own it are lovely and welcoming. Anyone that saids the food here is not good is completely wrong ! Lovely homemade food thats not processed. You even don't have to pay for the drinks , great value for money .we Loved the bright colours too . we will be coming again :)

Unusual set up that may appeal to some. It does need a disclaimer on the door though for anyone with an allergy to dogs as there were 3 lose in the dining area and the lady working appeared quite happy to have them running all over the place. Ordered a coffee and cake for 2 and whilst a lovely idea of free drinks is welcoming, asking the customer to make it too is not ideal. Unfortunately both pieces of cake were unedible. A peanut butter brownie that was unbaked and a coffee and walnut cake that had crunchy sugar through it, either granulated or again unbaked as it was like eating cake with sand in it so we just left. Real shame but a place to avoid unless you like poor food quality, dogs running around lose and making your own drinks.

Really glad I came across this place today. Immediately felt very welcome. They also offer free meals to those in need and an option for those who can to donate an extra meal's worth. Wonderful place run by very compassionate people. Oh, and the dahl was delicious.

Momos were just the best. That chilli soy is what dreams taste like.

I spotted these guys at All About Love Festival. The smell of the food was what drew me in. The food was so delicious and filling. Out of all the food I ate, this was the only food that didn't leave me feeling sluggish afterwards. The flavours were gorgeous, and I felt fully satiated but light afterwards. I went back for more!

The food was excellent, the ambience was great and the person I took to be the owner was lovely. I will definitely be back.

The Good Heart Cafe offers delicious Tibetan homemade food. Their admirable pay-it-forward initiative has provided hundreds of free meals since 2018. A visit here is not just about food, but also about experiencing warmth, tradition, and community. Highly recommended!

This is not cordon bleu, and I doubt it will ever get a Michelin star BUT the food is very flavoursome and the owner is extremely charming. The most important fact though is the ethos behind it. If you can't afford the food then it's free but if you can afford it, it is suggested that you give more than the advertised price so that somebody else can eat that day. There is no pressure The momos are really good, and our chickpea and spinach curry was wonderful. 1 dish of momos 2 chickpea curries 2 waffles with crushed Biscoff biscuits 1 apple juice 1 lime and ginger tea All for £32.00

Fab place for an intimate curry treat. Small and good. Vegetarian dishes only, I can really recommend Momo (cabbage filled dumplings). As Yummy as it gets (me saying as a big meat eater) and hard to beat on price. If you can, spend upfront and buy someone else a meal when they can't afford it (you will still pay less than in any other food serving location). The good heart may not be just another eatery at last, it may well be a lifestyle.

Just popped in for a quick lunch, service was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a tasty beetroot salad, momo's and chickpea curry, it was all flavorsome and thoroughly enjoyable. Would definitely recommend, you come out with a full tummy and a good heart! ☺️

We popped into the Good Heart on Sunday evening after walking from Nunney. Its somewhere you can go for a free Tea or Coffee and a warm. There were about 7 of us in our group. You can pay for food for other people in advance who might be needy. We all chipped in a decent amount of money and it certainly had a good feel factor to it. It's great that there are kind people in the world who go out of their way to help others. If you in Frome pop in and show your support. The cakes we're brilliant by the way. Next time I'm there i will be making a Bee line to it.

Amazing restaurant run by a lovely man. Can't go wrong on the menu, everything is fantastic. Simple, nourishing, home cooked food, made with love. The pay it forward system is also commendable. The world needs more places like this.

Heavenly vegan food. I got addicted to the fried momos and the gently fried, green salad. A lovely bright place to sit in. 5 stars also for hygiene.

The Momos were great! Recommended by the host, they are a cross between a spring roll and a dumpling. The curries, served with rice & Dahl, were hearty & flavourful. And a bottle of Somerset apple juice between us. All the food is vegetarian. There are desserts available too. Seating inside & 1 table outside. The host was a very welcoming, friendly & accommodating gentleman. We will return.

Visited Frome for the day and stumbled across this lovely place. The home-cooked food was delightful and the pay-it-forward system is such a good idea. The low cost of the dishes meant we managed to pay for a starter (the momos are a must try) and 4 meals for less than £35. I highly recommend this cafe and for those who visit to donate meals if they are able. Namdi is so friendly and such a good host. I hope to see him again and try more of his menu in the future. The ethos of this cafe is very admirable and discovering it made my day.

Great food, affortable and very tasty. People working really nice. We got the momos, which were awesome, particulary with chilli oil. Also the chickpea/spinach curry and dahl, everything had so much flavour!

What a lovely place to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan food here from the Momos for starters the Mixed Veg Curry for main and the Bubble Waffle and Ice-cream for dessert. I highly recommend it.

A friendly stop for tea or lunch. The food was Tibetan, vegetarian and a touch spicey. The service was very friendly.

The good heart is a friendly small restaurant that believes in kindness and pay back to the community. Always nice freshly cooked food, great momos (dumplings), pay what you can afford.

This is one of my all time favourite places to eat - Namdi provides exceptional service, the food is stunning and also reasonably priced, AND they run a pay it forward scheme. What a lovely experience. Kind welcome, delicious vegan momo's and beetroot salad, the Tibetan owner even gave me some extra chai tea to take home. Inside is peaceful meditation room. It felt a little bit like being back in India :)

The food was absolutely delicious! We had fresh salad and greens grown on the owners allotment - and a selection of the most delicious curries - fresh and full of goodness, fresh spices. The location is very cute and welcoming, the owner is friendly and genuinely cares for his customers. The pay it forward concept is exemplary, you can pay for an extra meal to help a vulnerable person. 100% recommend! The price is great value. I even got a takeaway for my lunch the next day.

Very tasty food at good prices. We had momos and greens to start and then curry for main course. Quick service. Amazingly polite chef. Don’t be put off by the ‘pay it forward’ concept. We just paid for our food and then added a bit extra on for someone else. There’s no obligation to do this though if you don’t want to. Great for everyone but especially vegetarians/vegans.

The food is amazing quality. Super tasty. And great value. Be sure to gift future meals to those who can’t afford it, if you can.

I visited Frome for a day trip which I've done before. This little restaurant serves wonderful food for vegans. Very friendly staff. Had a great experience.

We had momos and salads to start and then decided to continue on to currys. All tasty and freshly made. The food is not spicy unless you add the chilli relish. The chef is the waiter and a charming host so be patient if it is busy.

Momo’s that are amazing & such a wonderful host. All for a most amazing cause too. Don’t miss it in Frome.

Good range if teas and drinks, owner couldnt be any more lovely or helpful, really lovely place with a great outlook and that does great things.

I tried the Momos at the last Frome Independent Market and they were so tasty. I managed to visit the restaurant today at lunchtime and the Momos were even better than I remembered :) highly recommend this very reasonably priced restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service. I can't wait to go back again and try a curry next time.

I was luck enough to find Tibetan Memories at the Frome Artisan Market in early July and I am so glad I did! The food is outstanding (particularly the Momo's!) and the owner is so friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Had the momos this evening from a stall at the Frome street food festival. Really tasty. Excellent chilli sauce too. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon.

What a find. The owner opened early especially for us. We had two speciality teas and the potato and pea curry/and chickpeas in a spinach sauce. The food was fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. What's not to like (and I'm not even a vegan)

A really authentic Tibetan menu. We had great conversations with the Tibetan owner, and delicious meals. So much so that we were back the next day. It's incredibly good value for money. Child friendly too. There are also often other events happening there, including music. Highly recommended!

We get a lunch curry from these guys at least once every week. The momo's are to die for.
