Great food as usual great end to a Friday lovely Indian

Fantastic food, great portion size and flavour. Favourite takeaway in the area and always friendly and welcoming when you go to collect order. Would recommend 👌

Beautiful meal, fresh ingredients, tasty meat and lots of vegetables. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff is welcoming, polite and couldn’t have done more for us.

Had a takeaway from the Cinnamon Lounge this evening. It was absolutely delicious. We used to use Radhuni. Have to say that Cinnamon was way better.

Wrong meal sent out then the chicken wasn’t cooked

the delivery guy was so funny and so polite as I didn't hear the door go so called me and was so understanding and had a good joke about it 🤣

They forgot a bag at the restraint and had to get someone else to go back and get one delivered but ultimately caused half the order to get cold

The food was lovely except for the Balti. We ordered Lamb Bulti, proofed by the receipt, and received Chicken Balti, which he didn’t really like. Reported it to Just eat with photos and proof of order, but they have been really unhelpful with arguments about different recipes in different restaurants and mixed lamb and chicken balti. Never seen a mixed chicken and lamb balti anywhere and that wasn’t what we got anyway.

Chose it because it was from 35 to 50 min delivery but when ordered was told it would be an hour to one hour 15 min. Arrived 40min after the hour estimate! Too late for us really. The food was really lovely except for the lamb which sadly was very dry and tough.

Despite curry houses closer to home, this place is the benchmark. Absolutely unbeatable on quality and consistency… started with them in 2020 lockdown, and continue through to 2024. Good value comparatively to the others is also a huge draw! In summary - Good people, great food.

Gave my partner agonisingly intense food poisoning, and one of the staff members later harassed me and my manager at my job for a technical issue that was out of our control. Avoid like the plague.

Got a takeaway from here last night will never be eating here again. Do not recommend give me on my whole family diarrhoea all feel very ill. The next day do not eat her.

After ordering a delivery we only received half of the order!!!!

The boxes were very greasy so I had to be very careful and clean up before I could eat. But didn’t detract from how yummy the food is and how friendly your delivery was too. The Christmas card was a wonderful surprise extra. Even though I had some bad points I would recommend and enjoyed my meal very much!!!!

Having placed the order at 18:15 and told it would be delivered in an hour we thought that was fine. When it got to an hour and a half later we called them. He called the driver on another line, we were the told the driver had said he had delivered it. We explained how this was not the case and we hadn't received a takeaway and then managed to immediately forget about it. We were then asked if we could collect a fresh order they would make for us. After agreeing to a partial refund, this is what we did. When we arrived outside (2 and a half hours after the original phone call) the delivery driver happened to pull up outside at the same time. He took a bag full of food round the back and I entered the front. I explained who I was and then my order appeared at the front. Carried by the delivery driver and if it was the exact bag I saw him carry in from the car, I'll do free deliveries for them for a year. The man then started to process my partial refund and explained how they had just cooked it fresh for me. I then pointed out that I saw that delivery driver carry to the bag from his car but this seemed to fall on deaf ears. Having finally gotten the food on to our dinner table to find it was cold, I think it was fair to say there were more than just a few lies being told to us. If you decide to buy food from this restaurant, you're braver than me. As I will never be buying anything from this place again.

Great food and great Service from the staff

We went for the so called all you can eat Sunday buffet, which turns out is neither all you can eat or a buffet. It is a selection of basic dishes to pick and order. It should be called a set menu. The food is mostly good. Onion bhajis in particular were good, the samosas not so much and the curries and dahl standard/good. However the service, of one particular waiter, was awful. Made to feel like we were doing a favour eating there, didn't appreciate if we asked for something extra but isn't that the point of all you can eat? We went there on that particular day because we assumed it would be quick. Starters were fine but mains took so long to come out and we had two young kids that were bored and hungry. I asked where the food was after 20 minutes and was met with complete disregard, no apology and told it would probably be another 15 minutes and that he would check but he then never did. Surely, advertising a service like this it should be quick and ready (we were the first and only table for a while) but it seemed takeaway took priority. Finally our food came and it was fine but we won't return due to the service and complete false advertising. Also, when clearing our plates, our kids were still enjoying the lemon and the squeezing gadgets and he forced them to give them back which was unnecessary and rude. Go to one of the other Indians, they are better, better value for money and by far friendlier. Not really worth the money when it's not an all you can eat buffet!

Food was good but not hot. The time they estimated was fine as it's a Friday night. However what did annoy me was they showed delivered on the app tracker within the estimated time but it hadn't left them. I called 15 minutes after the eta. I called twice and was told it had just gone .. thank you and hung up. If they said they were busy I would have accepted it but they lied about it arriving and fobbed me off

Had the Sunday buffet which is more like a reduced menu (ie different menu to the full one but still freshly cooked to order). Absolutely first class. The food was delicious and really fresh with excellent flavours and lots of fresh vegetables in each dish. Couldn't fault and would thoroughly recommend.

Had 3 dishes. Prawn puri good. Lamb excellent. Monk Fish massala disappointed as fish was severely undercooked. Won’t order again but instead stick with the classic veg masala and save the £5 premium.

New ownership since our last disappointing meal. Had a takeaway with friends and the food was top notch! Everything was good and the naans the best we have ever had. Will definitely be back!

Didn't get the keema naan I ordered just a plain naan other than that I enjoyed food alot

Ate here last night...had a lovely meal...reasonably priced and great service ..

The food was terrible I had a layer of oil there was more bone then meat the side salad it came faster strongly of Lemon the rice was stuck all together

Appalling!! The worst Indian in the town by far! food stone cold. Only half the order arrived. When I called to query they hung up on me half way through my explaining. Naan was like a soiled nappy. Curries like water with nothing in except the meat, not even a garnish and flavourless. Chips dry. Poppadums stale. Don’t bother!!!! You will be devastated. We used them 2 years ago and had an awful experience but thought we would try once again and that has now clarified that it is just far easier to use one of the other 3 we have in the town. Take away is supposed to be easier not stressful

I ordered chicken tikka madras, but the chicken wasn’t chicken tikka which was a shame.

Managed to get a booking here for a family Sunday lunch. Great service, good food, and very reasonable prices. This was my first visit, but I hope it won't be my last. We all said we'd come back.

Everything was great apart from the lamb tikka vindaloo, it was a bit runny, didn't seem spicy enough and did not have enough potato in it. Some of the lamb was also chewy and fatty. Pathia was brilliant though

Highly recommended restaurant. Absolutely beautiful flavours. I do not eat meat so it's hard to find a good restaurant that give full flavours in dishes without meat. Everything tasted fresh and nothing qas oily or greasy like some takeaways do. The best Indian takeaway I've had in a long time

Worst biryani I’ve ever had. No curry sauce and rice had so much pepper in it that was inedible. Dips either tasteless or luridly artificial. Even the Nan bread and yoghurt were bad!

Even though it arrived a few minutes early, most of it was cold. Onion bhajis looked good but were cold and chewy, samosas were pale and cold. Rogan Josh was overpowered with coriander and the saag paneer was the weirdest one we’ve ever had, too creamy, no cubes of paneer just tiny little bits and ridiculously sweet. First order from here and would not do so again unfortunately.

Absolutely appalling food, workers were talking with an attitude at all times, couldn’t walk outside for fresh air because they thought I was going to run away, Radhuni or coco tamarind down the road are much better restaurants.

I have eaten in a fair few restaurants around the area over the years .This has to be by far the best. The food quality is excellent and cooked very well, with plenty of flavour and no signs of greasy oil. The staff are excellent and we were not rushed .the owner (I think was owner was lovely guy and attentive) .if not moving away would have most certainly visited here regularly.

Our son's 16th birthday meal. The staff (as always) were great. Had a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend. Even the teenage boys were full.

Incredible food, best I've ever had

We visited The Cinnamon Lounge on Saturday 5th February 22. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The food was excellent extremely tasty, colourful at the right temperature. I would go as far as saying it was the best Indian we have eaten for a long time. We will be returning very soon Thank you to all the staff that definitely made our visit a memorable experience

The food was fantastic and couldn't fault it really, flavours in the Lamb Bujon and Saag Chana were great and will order again. Arrived on time, could have been a bit warmer and one of the curries had leaked a bit into the bag which thankfully contained the spillage but made serving it up a bit messy.

We had a takeaway. The meal arrived exactly the time we were told. The food was absolutely delicious and good value for money.

I have been to many Indian restaurants and this place serves the BEST FOOD BY FAR 11/10 would give more stars if I could 🔥

Absolutely appalling... order was confirmed with a 45 min wait...waited 1hr and 45 mins. Phoned and they was to quick to shut the conversation down. Wouldn't recommend all... total disgrace!!

Myself and two others visited late one evening but were told we could sit and eat. Our order wasn't large - one wasn't eating and one only a small amount It became clear we were not welcome at all We were made to feel like we were a nuisance, unwelcome, awkward, and intimidated. to further cement our feelings we were served the bill whilst still eating and drinking. As three ladies on our own in the empty restaurant, this was not a nice way to be treated and made to feel.

A friend and I returned to this restaurant which had changed management some years ago. We were both very pleased with the excellent food (lots of choices). Mr. Delfino was our server and he did not disappoint. His food suggestions were spot on along with his sense of humour. We spent a few hours enjoying our food and never felt rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

Superb value Sunday buffet. We were amazed that full size dishes were served which were all very tasty and tasted different - that might sound odd but sometimes dishes in Indian restaurants are for the masses and therefore not very highly flavoured, not the case...

Cinnamon lounge is my go to place, they have the best curries and so many to chose from, my favourite being their Chicken Tikka Byriani and their Chicken Rezala. Being local I often order for collection and they always throw in some complimentary papadum, salad...
