Wagamama - High Wycombe in Wycombe

The manager just abused me in front of everyone I was waiting outside for like 10 minutes for my delivery. and knock on the window multiple times she ignored me and then when she saw me, she showed me middle finger and everyone was looking. This is really racist and annoying that she could do it. She should have the courtesy if there was a delay should have told me if it’s busy it’s not my fault.

Staff was so rude isn’t what I would want on a day out with my family. Kept bringing the food and then taking it away as it was the wrong order NEVER COME HERE trust me better of somewhere eles. Xx

HATE IT!! never come with your family. THE MANAGER ROSE so unprofessional. Really shows why the workers act like the way they did really hated it my family was disappointed.

Visited Saturday. Not too busy at the time although a queue was forming at the door Food was good but it wasn't as fresh or delicious as that served at a different Wagamama I've recently been to. Service was great. The food was lovely. Can’t fault them. Great experience

What a joy the staff at wagamama are. Ch. and Ro. run the place like clockwork and Ol. is always so welcoming. The food is up to its usual wagamama standard (excellent) but you come here for the service.

Brilliant experience on a busy Saturday evening, staff were really on the ball talking to the people in the queue, table was clean, service was quick, food was the usual good standard as you expect.

Great staff, clean venue. Very supportive with dealing with allergies, and the food was all great, a relief to find somewhere where everyone's tastes were met!

Staff showed good customer skills and even hanged jackets for us as it was so busy. The food was ok and the staff made us feel welcomed. The food is a bit pricy but its just a brand thing. I also think the tables are too close which should be changed as its hard to hear what the other person is saying and always not as spacious to move around. Although can't fault anything else. My son and I visited at the beginning of January and I have to say the customer service from all the staff is always amazing. They are extremely friendly whenever we visit. Special thanks to Rosie, Francesca and John who served us on this particular day.

Shantice (sorry if this is spelt incorrectly) gave us outstanding service. We visited for my sisters birthday for lunch and we were well taken care of. We can with out 8 month neice and they kindly gave us some fruit and veggies for her. Amazing service from all the staff thank you.

Ordered takeaway and the food was amazing! Normally you have to lower the bar for takeaway food but Wagamama have definitely raised it. Fresh tasty ingredients

We have now been to Wagamama High Wycombe countless times, and by far it is my favourite. Every single time we visit, we are welcomed with amazing service from happy staff, and everything from food to service is consistently excellent no matter the business of the restaurant. Each time we go I am especially happy to see Rosie. Rosie is awesome! I remember the first time being served by Rosie, I said “sorry to be awkward, I do have a nut allergy”, Rosie straight away put me at ease and told me that I was not awkward or a problem at all. The care and consideration when it comes to my nut allergy is really really appreciated - and Rosie made me feel super at ease. Having such great employees like all at Wagamama High Wycombe is what makes a good food chain GREAT! Thank you all staff at High Wycombe - Especially Rosie!

I was told by the chef that the chili garlic salt edamame has no salt, strange as for the past 10 years they had and ever other branch does. The ramen broth, was also flavourless. They need to concentrate on quality and not take away quantities.

The staff are friendly. I ordered a takeaway duck saku saku soba, the duck was crispy with a very nice flavour, it was well-seasoned yet only mildly spicy, and the noodles/vegetables were very nice as well. I will definitely order from them again!

I came here for the first time on a Saturday with my family including my 2 children aged 1 and 4 years. I asked the server if the hoki fish coconut kare would be suitable for my children and she said the actual sauce was not spicy and that they can do it without chilli for them. After the first bite my 4 year old was complaining it was spicy and my 1 year old spat out the food and was gagging even after sips of water. I looked in the bowl and sure enough, there was chilli in it! I told a different server and she explained that the chilli was already in the sauce and that I could have chosen something from the kids menu although I was not initially offered a kids menu and was told the dish could be made non-spicy. This is incredibly negligent and disappointing and the staff should be more trained on the dishes. If this was the case of an allergy this could have had fatal effects for the customer.

We eat there quite often. Apart from the Miso soup, the food is great and has a fantastic Vegan menu!! The Manageress is brilliant and really friendly but also totally professional.

I have to review to credit the amazing service we had last Sunday lunchtime. We were a party of four including my 86 year old mum with her walking frame. From the moment we stepped in the door to be seated through the whole meal, the attentiveness of all the staff, especially for my mum, was exceptional.

Truly awful food. Clearly straight from the freezer with stale meagre salad & poorly prepared. AVOID! But the student staff are nice)

Lesley was absolutely lovely. They had a little mishap in the kitchen, she handled it like a pro. I love her work ethic. She needs a raise for sure 👀👀

Food is always amazing but takes a little while! Staff are lovely but one thing to note is sometimes they are abit overly attentive which can be a little annoying when out for food, but such lovely people.

I had the Chicken Katsu Curry at Wagamama, which was absolutely delicious! The crispy chicken paired perfectly with the flavorful curry sauce, creating a satisfying and tasty dish. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect for any occasion, even for a quick tasty lunch.

The staff are really nice and friendly. The food is delicious, and the service is good. The walls could with a lick of paint as there are lots of stains and the restaurant looks like it needs a refurbishment.

Ordered online to collect Ramen order id 154769 , first time disappointed with the purchase. This was my favourite chain for japanese food. May be i need to look for other options

Our server was Oh, absolutely lovely lady. Food was delicious. Marked down atmosphere because it was so noisy.

Another spot-on meal here. Miso cod ramen with rich broth option of miso & dashi plus a tea-stained egg. Juices are good, as was the Korean beef bun. Yum!

Usually call in for the delicious deep fried chili squid, however they are purchasing an alternative squid, it is tiny compared to the other, dry, tough and heavily coated in chili powder, I had to return it, it just wasn’t edible. I ordered the prawn skewers instead and they are were also rather miserable to be honest, tasted ok but presentation was off and only two skinny prawns per skewer? I could be wrong but I thought there use to be three. I had a cheese sandwich when I got home 🤦‍♀️ Shame , mini ramen was lovely and so was the green tea

Always have a great meal here, you just can’t fault the food. Lovely staff and I really enjoy having a little lunch break here! It is my fave!! Special mention to the lady manager who always makes diners feel welcome. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is happy and I am sure others notice too. Fantastic customer service and 5 stars from me.

Food isn't as good as you would expect for the price. The staff are excellent though.

The only complaint is that we could not book a table on a Friday night, and it was stressful until we found out if we could get a table for 16 people.

It offers a mixture of Asian cuisine with a touch that suits the European taste. It has good options of noodles, soups, appetizers, and also Western desserts. I recommend trying the hot pot and caramel cheesecake variety, as well as the chicken noodles.

Food was quite nice although I found the staff not particularly friendly. Service with a sneer! My daughter went to use the toilets but we’d finished eating and they asked if we were going. Of course we were but unfortunate tone! Not sure I rate the customer service. Lack of smiles!

I go here once a month or so, the service is always excellent, foods always fast and fantastic, drinks are genuinely good and fairly priced, honestly just always have a Great experience at this waga's. The staff are a really nice friendly bunch.

It was my first visit; had a pleasure welcome from the staff, helpful and easy to talk to, love the look of the restaurant, it's clean and spacious. The food as per asian standard is spicy. I recommend the drink called Up beat. I was given additional up beat on the house so it an unexpected and pleasant going the extra mile customer service. Special thanks to waiters Emily and John, you are amazing =] Visited on Monday shortly after opening so was cosy and quiet. Affordable prices. Don't like giving tips but this time I felt I must, such a lovely experience!

The food here is absolutely fantastic, with a plethora of options to choose from, particularly for vegans. The staff are incredibly friendly, exuding warmth and a welcoming demeanor. They go out of their way to accommodate families with children and pushchairs, making it a truly inclusive and enjoyable dining experience for all.

We love Wagamama in general but we did not have good experience with High Wycombe branch as food we ate gave us sore throat instantly (take away also gave same issue next day). Also service was also not great. Perhaps they were tired after full day work. Not going that branch again.

Not for me. You order two main dishes and 3 sides (starters), it comes at random times, one main course immediately, another 20 mins later, one side dish 20 mins after that, as for the other two sides they didn’t show despite asking, paid the bill and left. I’ll leave wagamamas to the kids

Nice place, good service... but nothing special for that price. If compare price with quality and quantity, it is quite expensive.

Once I had passed the intimidating, helmeted motor Bikers all waiting their Deliveroo to be handed out I had to wait to be noticed and shown a seat. I was obviously an inconvenience as only one waiter on duty it was another wait for my order to be taken. Food was again another wait but up to usual tasty standards. I think the Wagammas need to think about is it a restaurant where you come to enjoy a meal out or a fast food joint full of Bikers....

Food tasty caters well for vegans. The High Wycombe branch though lacks atmosphere and feels quite crowded.

Wagamamas is my favourite restaurant in England. Service is always good and friendly. Always go for the chicken ramen. Great service from OH today in high Wycombe very friendly and receptive !

Good but the amount of protein vs garnish is ridiculous. Just bump prices up a bit and provide a quality dish.

Our waitress was really nice, but that’s as much as I can say as after 45’ waiting since we place our order I had to leave without having dinner. And the manager actitud wasn’t nice at all. It look like he was making us a favor for removing the food from the bill that we haven’t received.

We arrived for an early lunch, just before midday. All of the staff we met were really friendly, helpful and engaging. The questions I had about the menu were efficiently answered, and so we ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and Salmon Teriyaki Sobu, followed by Banana Katsu and Smoked Chocolate Caramel Cake. There was no problem when I asked that a couple of ingredients be left out of the Sobu, as a personal preference. All of the food was delicious, the service was quick and the surroundings were clean and comfortable. We'll be back again. Thanks.

Went in with a group of 5, server was amazing and very patient with us and food was great, wish i could remember her name to refer it but if you find out, some praise to her from us would be very much appreciated. Also thanks to Ewa and the other managers for taking great care of us during our visit. Will most definitely definately come again 👌

My order tonight was utterly disappointing. My ebi katsu were overfried, dry, brown with about a teaspoon of sauce. Why is your takeaway service so terrible? Is it because customers can't return the food or complain more vocally?The portion of vegetables for £5.00 had 3 small stalks of tender stem broccoli and 6 mangetouts. Doesn't even count for your 1 a day.

Worst Ginger chicken udon I've had from Wagamama. No ginger at all, but well padded out with hulking great chunks of raw red onion so you'd be lucky to taste gi her even if it was there.

Good place for a pan Asian fusion meal. Service somewhat lacking - my husband had almost finished his main course before mine had even arrived and even then we had to remind staff of my order.

Made a quick stop after work. The chicken katsu felt like I was back in Hawaii. They gave me extra rice and extra curry. Had to pay a little more but totally worth it. The curry has the right amount of spice and the salad they snuck on there was perfect

Busy restaurant at end of shopping day. Food fresh and very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My partner ordered Katsu curry and it tasted like plastic. We told the manager and he asked the chef who told him it must have been from the previous badge.. what an excuse! They should remove it from the bill but we paid full price. Disappointed. Teriyaki Soba was nice, this is why I am giving more stars.

We arrived on a horrid and wet day and felt welcomed by our server, who checked that we had visited before, saying when we were ready to jut give home wave,,,, We ordered 3 starters to share, crispy duck gyoza which were lovely, bro buns with pork and crispy apple fritter and the chicken satay; we shared a duck domburi bowl and were both full and happy… The Wycombe restaurant has very hard surfaces and so was extremely noisy, especially as there were several loud children… this is a shame for us older folks… also the toilets were up several flights of stairs, which I found challenging. Overall we enjoyed our meal but might think twice on a busy day….

Lovely welcome when we arrived. Got seated straight away. 2 of us have allergies and the waiter was very professional with what was on the menu. Plenty to choose from for vegans. Reasonably priced. Food was absolutely amazing and full of flavours. I would say the only downfall was 2 waitresses kept coming to our table asking if we want the bill, we had not finished. Also they tried taking our plates when we were still eating. We felt like we were being rushed.

If you want incorrect, cold tasteless food, with the equal amount of customer service in high Wycombe, Wagamama is the place for you!

Had a good break from shopping with 3 sharer dishes between two of us. Everything was perfect. We particularly loved the mushroom bao. Fab, friendly service

The food was amazing as usual and the staff were very good as usual. What ruined it for us was a couple of men with young children(4 or 5). These 2 children were feral little beasts who did whatever they wanted to do, to which the men did absolutely nothing to control them . The food strewn all over the table and floor the jumping over the table and seats, the screaming, all with not a flicker of an eye by the dad's. The older of the men summonsed a young server and preceeded to give him a huge lecture on hiw to be a good server and when he was finished with him he then ordered the manger over and gave her a huge lecture/bollocking . The staff did nothing wrong atall and behaved very professionally in my eyes. Maybe they should start lecturing the children on .anners and how to behave in a restaurant in future. Apparently not the first time this man has reduced a .ember of staff yo tears..... please bar him from your lovely restaurant

All smiles on entry. We were assigned a waitress but several people brought the food and water. Unfortunately, my husband's meal was served a good ten minutes before my own which didn't get things off to a good start. This happened at other tables too. Staff seemed to be randomly plonking food and drinks all over the dining area as it appeared from the kitchen rather than serving food to a specific table. My husband ordered the firecracker chicken curry which was ridiculously hot. No one came to check if our food was OK. He ate it but it wasn't enjoyable and when asked at the cash register how the food was, he told the staff member. And we said that my meal (chicken katsu) was good. However, she was pre-occupied with the credit card machine and clearly wasn't listening so he asked her if she'd heard what he'd said. We told her again. Her reply was a shocker, "It's called firecracker for a reason". I found that rude and condescending. That assumes that if you believe it's 'too hot', you shouldn't have ordered it, rather than the chef made a mistake in preparation. We are used to very hot dishes having lived in India and all over Asia - the object isn't to make food so hot that its flavour can't be tasted. It simply wasn't a good meal.

The food was great, but what absolutely made our experience was our waitress Morgan. Morgan was funny, kind and helpful, by far the best service I’ve ever had in this restaurant! She was awesome!

I’ve been there so many times but BY FAR had the best service from Morgan!! She’s funny, very helpful and just overall brilliant.

Food was allright although a bit low on taste. Bathroom is a disgrace.
