Once I had passed the intimidating, helmeted motor Bikers all waiting their Deliveroo to be handed out I had to wait to be noticed and shown a seat. I was obviously an inconvenience as only one waiter on duty it was another wait for my order to be taken. Food was again another wait but up to usual tasty standards. I think the Wagammas need to think about is it a restaurant where you come to enjoy a meal out or a fast food joint full of Bikers....

Our waitress was really nice, but that’s as much as I can say as after 45’ waiting since we place our order I had to leave without having dinner. And the manager actitud wasn’t nice at all. It look like he was making us a favor for removing the food from the bill that we haven’t received.

We arrived for an early lunch, just before midday. All of the staff we met were really friendly, helpful and engaging. The questions I had about the menu were efficiently answered, and so we ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and Salmon Teriyaki Sobu, followed by Banana Katsu and Smoked Chocolate Caramel Cake. There was no problem when I asked that a couple of ingredients be left out of the Sobu, as a personal preference. All of the food was delicious, the service was quick and the surroundings were clean and comfortable. We'll be back again. Thanks.

My order tonight was utterly disappointing. My ebi katsu were overfried, dry, brown with about a teaspoon of sauce. Why is your takeaway service so terrible? Is it because customers can't return the food or complain more vocally?The portion of vegetables for £5.00 had 3 small stalks of tender stem broccoli and 6 mangetouts. Doesn't even count for your 1 a day.

We arrived on a horrid and wet day and felt welcomed by our server, who checked that we had visited before, saying when we were ready to jut give home wave,,,, We ordered 3 starters to share, crispy duck gyoza which were lovely, bro buns with pork and crispy apple fritter and the chicken satay; we shared a duck domburi bowl and were both full and happy… The Wycombe restaurant has very hard surfaces and so was extremely noisy, especially as there were several loud children… this is a shame for us older folks… also the toilets were up several flights of stairs, which I found challenging. Overall we enjoyed our meal but might think twice on a busy day….

My partner ordered Katsu curry and it tasted like plastic. We told the manager and he asked the chef who told him it must have been from the previous badge.. what an excuse! They should remove it from the bill but we paid full price. Disappointed. Teriyaki Soba was nice, this is why I am giving more stars.

Lovely welcome when we arrived. Got seated straight away. 2 of us have allergies and the waiter was very professional with what was on the menu. Plenty to choose from for vegans. Reasonably priced. Food was absolutely amazing and full of flavours. I would say the only downfall was 2 waitresses kept coming to our table asking if we want the bill, we had not finished. Also they tried taking our plates when we were still eating. We felt like we were being rushed.

The food was amazing as usual and the staff were very good as usual. What ruined it for us was a couple of men with young children(4 or 5). These 2 children were feral little beasts who did whatever they wanted to do, to which the men did absolutely nothing to control them . The food strewn all over the table and floor the jumping over the table and seats, the screaming, all with not a flicker of an eye by the dad's. The older of the men summonsed a young server and preceeded to give him a huge lecture on hiw to be a good server and when he was finished with him he then ordered the manger over and gave her a huge lecture/bollocking . The staff did nothing wrong atall and behaved very professionally in my eyes. Maybe they should start lecturing the children on .anners and how to behave in a restaurant in future. Apparently not the first time this man has reduced a .ember of staff yo tears..... please bar him from your lovely restaurant

All smiles on entry. We were assigned a waitress but several people brought the food and water. Unfortunately, my husband's meal was served a good ten minutes before my own which didn't get things off to a good start. This happened at other tables too. Staff seemed to be randomly plonking food and drinks all over the dining area as it appeared from the kitchen rather than serving food to a specific table. My husband ordered the firecracker chicken curry which was ridiculously hot. No one came to check if our food was OK. He ate it but it wasn't enjoyable and when asked at the cash register how the food was, he told the staff member. And we said that my meal (chicken katsu) was good. However, she was pre-occupied with the credit card machine and clearly wasn't listening so he asked her if she'd heard what he'd said. We told her again. Her reply was a shocker, "It's called firecracker for a reason". I found that rude and condescending. That assumes that if you believe it's 'too hot', you shouldn't have ordered it, rather than the chef made a mistake in preparation. We are used to very hot dishes having lived in India and all over Asia - the object isn't to make food so hot that its flavour can't be tasted. It simply wasn't a good meal.

I visited Wagamama on a lovely Sunday afternoon at around 14:20. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff. We wanted to sit at a booth, and the manager, Tharun, immediately attended to our request and quickly sorted it out for us. My daughter can be quite picky when it comes to food, but Tharun was exceptionally patient and helpful in guiding her through the menu. With his assistance, she chose a dish that she absolutely loved. The entire dining experience was delightful, thanks to the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff, especially Tharun. I highly recommend Wagamama for anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service. Kudos to Tharun and the team for making our visit a memorable one. We will definitely be coming back!

This is my friend and I's favourite Asian restaurant in Wycombe, come here every month. We always order the same things actually, the steak soba and pad thai. The quality of the food stay consistent, always so tasty! We normally order some gyozas and chicken skewers on the side as well, just enough for 2 people! The waitress Emma today was very smiley, sat us down straight away when there were seats available. Both service and food were on point!!

I really enjoyed the food here, especially the shirodashi pork belly ramen - it’s the best when it goes with spicy broth!! The sides are all great, we ordered a portion of the ebi katsu, chilly squid and wok fried greens, really filling. The staff were very attentive, asking about allergies and gave good recommendations! You know you’re going to get tasty Japanese food served quickly at any Wagamama, but this branch also has some of the most helpful and welcoming staff you’re ever going to find in a chain restaurant. Gets super busy from lunchtime, but turnaround is so quick you won’t have to wait long. If there’s any negative it’s that the toilets upstairs could do with a bit of TLC (actually they could do with a full Japanese makeover, but I don’t think that’s really Wagamama’s style). We had great service! Food was to the usual high standard. It's not the most spacious branch so felt a bit cramped, they have to manage constant deliveroo drivers almost literally by the back door, you can hear the delivery orders pinging in so the kitchen is even busier than the full restaurant suggests. We did have to wait for kids food which is the opposite of what you want. Paying online without calling your server back is supposed to be easy but we had a glitch where somehow the number given to us was invalid by one digit. As it was busy, we therefore had to wait to get the correct number - according to the server this isn't too uncommon so it needs fixing. Gave me time to delete the Wagamama app which used to be poor but no longer works at all. Long-term issue with systems not really fixed then.

Went in for a nice meal with my girlfriend we were sat under the air con that was set at -40, were served by and then revived our food, my girlfiried got the completely wrong thing, was served prawns which we told them she is allergic too, they then took it away after 10 minuetes of convincing that was not what we ordered, i then got my meal which wasn’t too bad but for the next 30 mins my girlfriends food didn’t arrive, then after wards we decided we’d take it away, and it still cost £45 for 2 drinks 2 starters and a main, how does this make any sense, horrendous service just all round bad experience won’t be going back

After fighting our way through the door entirely blocked with deliveroo drivers we were seated in a position that was in the draft caused by the door being constantly opened. Don't go on a Saturday night. Food was poor, tea stained egg was fridge cold and the duck gyoza were overcooked. Staff all seemed fed up apart from one who was very pleasant.

So, half way through our meal we ordered a hi-5 smoothie, only to find a nail in the drink, We approached the waiter who brushed this off and offered to make a fresh drink and assured us that the machine will be cleaned. However, once the realisation of how unacceptable and revolting this was, we were unable to continue with our meal and drink so immediately asked for the bill. What was more concerning to us was the laisser faire attitude of the staff, who in our opinion treated this as a regular occurrence.

The food was up to the normal quality of Wagamamas, arriving at a reasonable time, well made and tasty. The service and other choices by this location are extremely frustrating. Our waitress was extremely quiet where we could barely understand what she was saying - even though we were location at a quiet part of the restaurant. She did not seem to know what was going on, and although friendly was not familiar with the menu. Having informed her that one diner had a nut allergy, she came to take our order. After informing us that she'd have to check with the manager to confirm about the allergy, we tried to inform her of the other orders. As she spoke extremely softly, we weren't sure if she even took the orders or she was more preoccupied with asking the manager about the nut allergy. A further strange thing was that the menu did not mention the complimentary green tea, and nor was this offered during ordering (unlike all of the other Wagamamas I've been to). When the food arrived we were missing utensils. Unable to catch the attention of any wait staff I had to find and pick some up myself. Since that point no wait staff ever imitated contact to ask how we found the food (unlike every other Wagamamas I've been to). When we finally managed to flag someone to pay, we had to explain multiple times that we would prefer to pay seperately by card rather than using their onlime service. Splitting the bill was of great difficulty, a common issue as some neighbouring diners also expressed frustration over their failure to split the bill. Overall this experience has left me baffled at how this location is run - although the food was up to standard I simply do not understand the extremely poor service when dining at off peak hours and a reasonable amount of diners!

We were a table of 5. All ordered together the other 4 got their meals. Waitress came over after a while and asked me where my food was.....not really something I would know. I waited, the others were all eating theirs. Waitress came over and said it's coming soon. I waited a bit longer, by this time everyone else was well into their meals, almost finished. It's not a great experience sitting there without food while everyone else has theirs. I'd gone off the whole idea by this point, went over to the waitress and asked to cancel mine as everyone else had nearly finished theirs. She said ok, no real apology for the hold up. Not been to Wagamama before won't bother again. 3 stars only because the waitress was really good to one of the kids in our party.

Started off great friendly waiter drinks ordered straight away and came fast. We ordered food and everything was okay. My food arrived fast. However, I asked when my partners food was going to come, and the reply was, "It takes longer to cook." With this knowledge, food timing should have been more coordinated within the kitchen and the waiting staff. 10 minutes went past, and I asked again where my parents' food was, and the women asked what it's was and laughed at us, almost mocking us for not knowing the food, and went to find out. The food arrived shortly after. My food went cold, unfortunately. The man who served us was lovely and gave good recommendations, but the after service was underwhelming.

Myself and my partner have eaten here several times for a quick bite to eat whilst being out and about, we have constantly had very good customer service from Robin the manager at this restaurant. Robin is always very polite, professional and friendly and makes you feel valued as a customer. Very good service especially as the restaurant gets very busy at time.

the best ramen in town, if you grew up with animes, some curiosity about japan/correan culture...this is definetely the place to taste a little of it, don't miss the chance to try some ramen or some other dishes with race and delicious meat

The food was average tasteless to somewhat. The prawns on my prawn firecracker -6 small prawns (compared to before half the size) and plate filled with peppers and spring onions. Not value for money at all. The fish was too spicy and you couldn’t taste anything else. I guess the heat took away anything that might have been there. My daughter ordered a gyoza raman again lacked flavour. Shame as the prawn Raman was really good. Staff were busy getting takeaway orders ready as drivers standing at doorway. I guess could be a reason they didn’t pay attention to guests sat inside. Will be a while before we return. The franchise needs to sort itself out if it wants to survive the current climate. Cutting a lot of corners. I’d rather pay more for a decent meal.

Arrived to have a meal to find long queue outside...with tables which were empty inside....when I asked the staff member on the door why the tables were not being utilised I was told it was because they were short staffed.....when I replied by saying that that wasn't a valid excuse I was told in no uncertain terms that it wasn't her problem... So my partner and I ate somewhere else.... No way to run a restuarant...maybe pay a bit more to get staff then you would be able to serve more customers and bemore productive... Shame, shame shame...no way to run a business....especially one that relies on customers!!!!! And please don't blame it on covid.. Update....Sadly no response from Wagamama and it seems that I am not the only one to have had a bad experience...your loss Wagamama...not mine

Friday night 09.15pm and very busy but our wait was not too long. The Ramen I chose was spicy just a little much for me but helped down with ice cold Japanese beer. Service was a little long but the restaurant was full and clearly the kitchen at capacity. Our waitress kept us posted and we enjoyed our meal. Probably better to have been earlier to avoid any wait
