Great food, great service and atmosphere

I fancied something Chinese and tried this place. It is more of a cafe than a restaurant and is pretty basic. That said, the food was tasty and satisfied my craving for something Chinese. I do think they are missing a trick as there didnt seem to be another dine in Chinese Restaurant in High Wycombe and if they raised their game and offered a wider selection, I think they could do well

Food was absolutely disgusting! Ribs tough and chewy. Might as well have ordered an onion curry, was hardly any meat in it. Chow mein tasteless. Would never order from here again

I do love this place been a few times now,however my last visit was a bit disappointing..ordered the mixed meat chow mein but it may as well have been plain noodles,there was barely any meat at all..also ordered wings but chilli chicken pieces came out,apart from this the food was very nice still just a bit disappointed

Haven’t been here since upgrade. Loved it before. It used to be a more interactive menu with generous portions. Cheap and cheerful and very good value for money! Now more expensive and unfortunately I really didn’t enjoy the food. I can’t eat seafood and straight away I could smell the chicken had been cooked in the same oil as prawns (albeit even if - as I was assured - it was the prawn toast?). Needless to say I couldn’t eat the chicken. Went home hungry but lovely staff and nice manager who took the cost of the chicken off the bill. Really disappointed with the food. I tried my daughter’s ribs but didn’t enjoy them at all. Tasteless and overcooked. Prob won’t return. I miss the old style Noodle Nation food but staff nice, polite and friendly so couldn’t fault the service!

Walked in and spoke to Eddie. He recommended the lunch box - sweet chilli chicken and egg fried rice. Great recommendation tasted amazing and I’ll be back for lunch. Reasonable price. Thanks Eddie.

Always a hot, fresh, delicious meal at NN with fast and very friendly service. Portions are very generous so great value. Only one criticism is that tips can’t be given via the card machine so we always feel bad if we don’t have cash. Otherwise a lovely establishment.

Over 1 hour late. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Chips were soggy, rice was hard. Never again.

Seems like the quality and service has gone down , I've ordered few times and been disappointed the taste and quality of portion has gone down in standard, the spare ribs have hardly any meat , the noodles don't taste the same anymore , have less vegetables inside then before,, the meat inside the curries are smaller in size . It's a shame to see this place go down hill

If you are passing and hungry. Ok pop in. The food is just about average. It is not a quality worth making an effort to come too. You can find better and cheaper food easily.

Looked like someone had chewed the majority of chicken off of the chicken satays then covered back up with sauce. Beef looked half eaten and pad Thai was barely even warm, surprised since it came almost an hour early. No where near as good as usually is

Staff were super friendly, and attentive, why can’t you leave a tip on the machine??? Come on noodle nation, it’s 2023 and no one carries cash anymore. These are mainly youngsters in here working, surely they’d appreciate some tips?

Gutted I didn’t find this place sooner. Nice quiet restaurant with good food away from annoying families and groups in the shopping centre. Good place for lunch either with someone or plenty of solo diners too. Very friendly and efficient service.

Fantastic restaurant, with the most delicious food, fabulous service and wonderful atmosphere. You can really tell that this is a family run restaurant, as there is so much heart in it! :)

Second visit to Wycombe restaurant. Lovely Mai fun Singapore noodles , partner had firecracker chicken with egg fried rice. In his opinion taste was good but portion size was small compared to other dishes. Salt and pepper ribs were dreadful don't waste your money on those. Staff pleasant, service efficient.

Food was nice but the squid was too chewy and did not feel like it was cooked fresh or had been frozen. All other food was fine. Service was friendly.

A HUGE thank you to the High Wycombe team! We ordered a party platter for 20 people to be delivered to an event we were attending. Everything arrived on time, food was hot and delicious. Plenty of food for everyone and thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again 😄

I had the Work Fried Singapore rice. Huge main course portions and are almost enough for 2. Clean and cosy. Good service.

The Pad Thai: noodles stuck together and tasteless. Chill and Garlic veg - mostly sauce very few vegetables . Salt and Pepper crispy squid texture of rubber.

Vegetable pad thai was okay, but veg chow mein tasted very odd: overwhelming lemon but also sickly sweet, not savory at all. Ribs were extremely dry and tough.

Really fast delivery and VERY tasty food (Pad Thai, bok choy & broccoli and salt & pepper chicken)..yum! 😋

To be honest one of the plaves where you go and you get with a full belly out from only eating 1 main. Is a very good place always take the salt and pepper wings as starter and after goind for chow mein or roce with black been sos chicken. All the food is grate here and tasty.

Unfortunately all of the sauce had spilled out of the containers and into the bag, which ruined other food.

Food arrived 2 hours after it was ordered and one of the dishes was missing. Definitely not ordering from them again.

Very quick delivery. Quoted between 49 mins and an hour and arrived in 25 mins.

Affordable, quick service. I reckon I’ve probably been coming here for over 10 years if not longer. Honestly wish their business the best as it’s formed part of my childhood.

The pak choi and brocolli side were the only thing correctly cooked with this order. The salt and pepper squid was so overcooked you could barely even chew it, deeming it inedible. The pad thai noodles were mediocre at best, and after picking at it unenthusiasticly for ten or so minutes (baring in mind that all of these dishes are usually my favourites) ...I came across a second prawn, which also was horribly overcooked. Which put me off completely. I don't know if the food was old and reheated within an inch of its life, or if the chef was just having a bad day and decided to take it out on this food (I get it mate, it happens) ... But for over 30 quid for a meal, I'd expect to at least be able to eat it. I dined in at this restaurant years ago, and it was good from what I remember then, no idea what happened here tonight. I called the restaurant and the manager did apologise and offer a refund for the items, which I do appreciate. Just waiting on Just Eat to authorise this. The saddest part is my small nephew tried a piece of the squid before I realised the extent of the damage; he may never want to again now. That poor boy may never know the bliss of properly cooked squid.

Be careful leaving notes with Allergies or items you don't eat as they don't read the notes. Very dangerous if someone is allergic. Food quality also got worst as the chef may be different.

Unfortunately, Noodle Nation don't want Vegetarians or Vegans dining with them.

We loved ordering food from NN.however our 2 recent orders were subpar. Maifun noodles were hard and the salt and pepper squids were very chewy

This is a place near Wycombe Hospital and Bucks New University for a quick informal early dinner. The menu is comprehensive, and the service is quick and reasonably friendly. It can get busy just before a show at The Swan.

We ordered few times take aways and always was on time and so delicious.

We got noodle nation as a takeaway. I had wanted to try it for a while. I knew it was more expensive than other Chinese / noodle places but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about…it was genuinely the most disappointing Chinese takeaway I have ever had. The prices are almost double the standard Chinese takeaway price, so I thought the food must be super fresh and full of flavour…it wasn’t. £51 in (+ delivery!) for rice, noodles, sweet and sour chicken, prawn toast, salt and pepper prawns and chicken balls… The portions were on the small side, it lacked flavour, apart from the prawns which had been drowned in chilli! The chicken balls were just frozen chicken nuggets that had been deep fried and cost £7.45! …it was genuinely awful. Needless to say we will stick to our regular Chinese takeaway from now on. Save your money and don’t believe the hype

This is good quality Asian fusion food. Servings are generous and, if anything, a bit too big.

Absolutely love this place, the food is always fantastic - we go for the curry every time. If you can't eat it all they always provide a box and the portions are a great size. Not wheelchair friendly.

Wouldn't say regular, but been there a few times. Usually it is very nice, simple, quick. I personally love the Singapore wok rice. The noodles are very nice as well and my partner loves the chicken & prawn udon. Yesterday I tried the Chinese curry and it wasn't particularly good, quite bland. Should have stuck with what I knew. We always get the salt and pepper starters, which are really always nice. Most of the dishes are not on the mild side, but nothing is really spicy either. Good amount of kick that you adjust by eating or not the chopped fresh chilli in the plate. Try a few dishes, pick one and have it as comfort treat ;)

Chicken Pad Thai without prawn was very tasty. The plate was generous and perfectly sweet. We had the steamed chicken dumplings which was 1 of the best I've had. We didn't like the black concurrent squash drink-overly sweetened with what tasted like diet sugar. My husband had the salted peppered chicken wings which I thought were tasty despite the description. I wouldn't order the drink again. Definitely would come again.

Lunch with Daughter and granddaughter. Enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately they were not willing to mix and match from the offerings on the childrens menu for my granddaughter. Took a doggy bag home 😋 as she had an adults meal instead. Bench tables not over comfortable or easy for those with restricted movement and could have been less sticky.

I have always loved Noodle Nation, and even when the prices enevitbly go up, the quality is always great.

Noodle Nation (formerly noodlebar) has a huge place in my teenage and early adult years. During school, college and uni I would frequently hang out here with friends and enjoy the huge portions and low prices, or grab a takeaway to eat at the bus station after work. I went there for a meal with a friend recently and was surprised by the lack of vegan options available, especially during Veganuary. There were only two or three mains options on the vast menu. A lot of the side dishes would be vegan but are cooked in the same oil as meat dishes so are non-vegan due to contamination, meaning there were no sides I could enjoy. I opted for the vegetable pad Thai and while the portion size is still massive, I found the noodles themselves to be very mushy. I also noticed that my Pepsi had a distinctly mouldy aftertaste which occurs when the lines on the soda siphon aren’t cleaned regularly. The serving staff were all excellent and lovely and I love the vibe and the nostalgia I get from Noodle Nation, but I thought it was a real let down in 2023 to have such limited vegan options available.

Used to have noodle nation a lot went few months ago to eat in and really enjoyed it so thought would get a delivery the rice was all stuck together and was bright white which I’ve never known an egg fried rice to look like the sauce was really runny and the chicken balls looked like they were shop brought and never how I’ve seen them from a Chinese and the taste was not great at all considering how much we paid was probably worth £10 tops for two people x

Very poor! I ordered salty spare ribs and they gave me barbecue . The order was very clear and even attached to the bag it was delivered in!! The fried rice was simply rice, I saw no evidence it had been fried....possible trace of egg!!!! Very expensive rubbish!

Food was nice. Over priced but ok. The saturday lunchtime staff had about as much personality and motivation of a dehydrated snail on a hot day. Clearly didn't want too be there and didnt know what they were doing. Need some more trained staff who enjoy what they do.

Very disappointed that on order above 50£ there wasn’t even free prawn crackers. Any other Restaurants always give it and I have ordered today from this one as it had good review but I see that it was a mistake

I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls amongst other things in my order totalling in excess of £40. When my order arrived I was very surprised to receive chicken nuggets with a pot of sweet and sour sauce costing £7.95. If I wanted chicken nuggets I would have bought a Happy Meal from McDonald’s and saved myself £4 and got a free toy. This is totally unacceptable and mis-selling.

They forgot to deliver the sauce with my katsu curry however I called up and they sent another driver straight away, great service!

The fried rice was boiled and stodgy, the chicken balls were more like tiny nuggets and the kung po prawn was horrible and soggy. Even the prawn crackers didn’t have much going for them. We were all very disappointed tbh.

First time ordering from here. The katsu curry. Was not home made, and it was curry sauce not katsu sauce.

We visited Noodle Nation for my Mum's 64th Birthday. It wouldn't be my choice but my Mum, for some reason, likes to eat there. There were so many things wrong with this place. What stood out to me the most was the customer service. The waiter/ess had vacant expressions. They looked like they didn't want to be working. It was off putting because they were standing and staring while we eating. It was that off putting my niece didn't want to eat her food. The waiter that served us had no manners. When we called him over to take our order, he responded with 'what.' For me, that shouldn't happen. The manager should be training them better. But I don't think the manager cares. The food was tasteless and pricey for what you get. There were no soup options. The vegetarian and vegan options were so limited. This is a place I wouldn't recommend at all. In fact, I would discourage people to go there. What is interesting though, the Noodle Nation in Aylesbury is completely different. The staff are friendly, the service is better and the food is edible. Overall, we spent over £150 and we came away feeling hungry. We ate when we got home. I would avoid this place, in my opinion. I didn't even take any pictures it was that disappointing.

Terrible food quality 6 chicken balls the size of chicken nuggets not happy at all especially with the price of being over £9.00 .

Serving sizes are extremely small, spent around £7 for chicken balls and received 4 small chicken nuggets. Not work the price and definitely won’t be ordering from Noodle nation again.

Very bad service. Waited 1hrs 45 mins, phoned the restaurant and they said our order was just leaving. Waited another hour whilst trying to call them numerous times and the restaurant wouldn’t answer. Food turned up another hour later and was cold 😡

Excellent takeaway for the family. Delicious selection of food which arrived quickly. We have had food from this takeaway numerous times and always enjoyed it. A firm family favourite!

Ordered food at 7pm - an hour later had a message to say it had been delayed to between 8.30 and 8.50pm. it finally arrived at 9.15pm but only after I phoned the restaurant. This is the 2nd time I’ve waited more than 2 hours for food from this restaurant. I could have cooked a meal in less time and it would have beeen better than waiting around for over 2 hours.

£45 for reformed meat. Absolutely disgusting food will never venture here again! Save your money and health and avoid.

I came here with my friend and her daughter today and received the warmest of welcomes and a fantastic service from the ladies who work there. All of our dishes were absolutely amazing, completely faultless. Thank you very much guys for the exceptional food and the amazing service

Went again for a second time and food was a bit better than the first time. Singapore noodles were cooked ok. Chicken katzu curry was crispy, sauce was quite plain. Crispy beef was not very crispy and had a lot (too much) of sweet chilli sauce. Usually it should be very dry. If you fancy a bowl of stir fried noodles and don't want to drive to some good places in London, this is probably the safest bet in the area.
