We were served by Grace. Her service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. We all had a fabulous evening.

Wonderful First Experience at Grounded Kitchen, High Wycombe Today, I had my first taste of Korean cuisine at Grounded Kitchen in High Wycombe, and it was an outstanding experience! The customer service was exceptional, especially thanks to Manager Anushka De Alwis and his colleague, Grace, who were both attentive and welcoming. The restaurant has a simple, tasteful decor with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs in action, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The bar was open as well, enhancing the overall experience. Anushka recommended the dishes, and they did not disappoint! I started with the chicken wings, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. For the main course, I had beef noodles—both dishes were packed with flavor and left me wanting more. The prices were also very reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. Simply put, Grounded Kitchen offers an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend it!

Place was amazing but my main highlight was how all the staff treated my little baby, playing with him and making him feel so happy. Thank you to all the staff. Would definitely recommend

Dear all my personal experience today im so glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews this restaurant has the most tastiest most fresh food iv had in a long time and can’t believe I found this hidden gem in High Wycombe out of all places and most importantly the service i received frown Grace today was absolutely amazing from start to finish she’s the most nicest person you will ever meet and she is a asset to her company and I will be a regular customer going forward.. please go and try the food yourself you will thank me later it’s amazing

Pretty good chain Korean food spot. I had the beef rice bowl - Gochujang, and the chicken Bao - Gochujang. Both were pretty good. The amount of food was really good here, despite not getting the "Large" variant for an extra £3, I still got a big and really filling rice bowl that left me stuffed!

First time we tried this place last night and the food was really, really good. Nice and piping hot my wife had the hottest in Spice you could get but she said it wasn't too bad. The staff were amazing also checked to make sure the food was good and the chef even looked after us all round fantastic service with a smile. Will definitely be back again thank you 👍🏽

Sorry to write such a negative review because I really wanted a decent Korean restaurant in HW so was very excited when it opened. I have to say the many glowing five star reviews do not have any reflection of the reality and it’s not about the service on the day. The menu attempts to be like Wagamama but it’s a mess of options. The dishes are nothing close to anything resembling authentic Korean or Japanese, it can’t decide what it is. And for a Korean restaurant not to serve bibim bap seems a bit weird. And as for the food, we ordered chicken ramen noodles and a beef rice bowl, it’s just a mess of very sweet and super spicy, excessively applied to everything regardless of what you order. If you go past the restaurant and see it’s almost always empty even on a Saturday evening (which is when we went), there’s a reason. Don’t be fooled by the glowing write ups. Don’t waste your precious money on this highly flawed concept.

The food is fantastic! Service and atmosphere have dropped off a little since opening but the food is still consistently great. I’ll still come back relatively regularly regardless.

Excellent flavours, had to choose the high spice option as the other 2 choices of sauce had a sweet tinge to it. Maybe the spicy sauce option can come with an extra option of medium spice. Quality of food and taste was very good.

The staff were friendly and informative, the food with quick and delicious. We were not rushed from our table when we were finished even though we had a small child with us. Overall excellent experience.

We dined as a large party with a toddler, the staff were absolutely superb, kind and understanding and extremely helpful, especially our server Aarti. The food was delicious and served quickly even though we weren’t rushed out when we had finished which was a lovely surprise! Thank you to all at Grounded Kitchen.

The Açai bowl was absolutely watered down and horrible was nothing like I expected. I am very disappointed in the service and quality received for what could’ve been a real amazing experience.

Me and my boyfriend came here before we went to the cinema and we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was! We got the bao buns, gyozas and udon noodles all for a great price! The service was very fast and the girls serving us were very helpful

Walked passed the place a few times and didn't think too much of it and then when a work colleague recommended we eat there I am so glad I did go. If you love the taste of freshness, different flavours, quality food this is the place to go. I have been a regular visiting at least once every week. Like the saying goes you don't know till you try, and when you try you won't stop. Highly recommend.

I ordered ramen and it tasted like it was spaghetti rather than noodles and i just dont like spaghetti i didnt want to say anything because it was a stupid reason but their noodles just taste like spaghetti and also it was bland i couldnt taste the broth whilst eating the noodles but a nice lady served us and the insides lovely atleast 😊

Grace and Aarti are lovely. I grabbed my vegan surprise bag late at night and they even added an extra for me! We had a little chat and I felt very welcome. Food is amazing and it has real taste of Asia. I will definitely come back soon!

The people there are very lovely and accommodating. I ordered takeaway, went to the bathroom and asked if I could collect my coffee afterwards and they were so sweet they made sure that I had received it once got back.

I cant believe I hadn’t found this gem until now. The food was wonderful but the service was even better. The menu was explained to us really well to be able to make the best decisions on what would suit our tastes but still our server Grace brought us samples of sauces so we know what to order next time! The decor is great, the prices are great, the flavours are great. This all added up to an excellent meal!!! Will DEFINITELY be back. PS. Order the plum soju!!!!

Obviously based on Waggamama's set up, the menu offered a decent array of basic Korean dishes. First issue was that everything was either tepid or cold; and there were only 8 of us actually in the restaurant! The food arrived so quickly that they hadn't even brought our bottled water so not entirely sure what the rush was as taking a little longer may have led to the food being warm! Kimchee was decent but the edamame very strange and quite unpleasant. Beef bao buns ( we had one of each sauce) were decent but the chicken were overcooked, bland and dried out. I think the lamb dumplings may have been cooked the day before they were so "stiff" but the mandu dumplings were ok. Star of the show were the chicken wings which are not particularly spicy but very decent; wish we'd have just had a big plate of those! Service friendly - wouldn't go back

Dinner quite late on Friday night. First time eating Korean food. Grace our waitress was very helpful and ensured we had a very enjoyable meal.

Grounded Kitchen is my place to go when I want a warm comforting meal. They have a great variety of food with customisable flavours to fit evey desire. The past few times I have been, I was served by Dulaj and the hospitality was outstanding; great communication, great service. Would definitely recommend !!

Excellent service. I was welcomed at the door and attended to promptly. Aarti was very knowledgeable in suggesting which food options would go together. On this occasion, I chose to order a Salmon Bao (Double) and Bang Bang Korean Chicken Wings. The Salmon Bao was not to my palette (this is more preference about the texture than the tastiness of the food). The Chicken wings were great! Hot, cooked correctly and delicious. The detox drink was also a good choice, recommended by Aarti. I would eat here again, but I will try the Chicken Bao next time.

Absolutely delicious food every time. It's by far my favourite takeaway and restaurant in Wycombe now. Wonderful to have an option that is packed full of flavour, is filling but also healthy!

Really good meal and Grace was both very polite and efficient. It's a pity you cannot add a service charge onto a credit card bill and we had no cash. I would have liked to give her a tip, but next time I will have cash.

We visited this restaurant today for the first time. We had the Salmon & Bang Bang potato rice bowl which is a new dish along with boa buns and chicken curry. All the food was delicious. Our waitress Grace was very welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Great lunch today at Grounded Kitchen. The menu has a good range, food was delicious and the service was excellent. The menu also offers delicious healthy options (e.g nourish bowls and quenchers) and there are great lunch menu options, at good value, especially if you go Monday-Thursday. I would definitely recommend and would like to give a shout out to Aarti for the super service that we received

Grounded Kitchen has a great atmosphere with wheelchair accessibility and great staff. Not to mention the food tastes amazing and the quality is great. I ordered a Chicken bowl and a tofu bao as a meal deal I have to say the flavors were mind-blowing. Can't wait to come here again. The food also is healthy and supports different dietary needs.

First time ever going and will never return again I never received my drink with my order and when they first tried giving me my drink it wasn’t what I ordered one female staff was really rude she came up to my table saw I was finished with my food and didn’t take it away and when I asked for the bill she was rude by saying I can’t give you it yet first time ever coming and it was recommended to me I won’t be going again

Her attention was impeccable, always attentive to our needs and with a smile on her face. Aarti really went above and beyond to make our experience special and she succeeded. Highly recommended!

Food was nice and presented well. The service was terrible though. Member of staff kept wondering off with no communication as to what she was doing. Forgot drinks and had to get up and look for her as all the staff members seemed to be in another planet. Would order to take away for a cheeky lunch but wouldn't go again for a sit down meal.

The food was very nice & tasty. We had Bao Buns, Ramen and Sambol curry with a side of Kimchi. We received excellent service from Oshika. All the menu was explained clearly with different combinations available. The restaurant is clean. We would happily return again.

Went to Ground Kitchen for lunch and it was amazing.The girl (Oshika)who took our orders didnt hesitate to spend time to explain dishes in the menu with lot of patience ,also the food we ordered were awesome and worth the price and my family love the food.Yummy...yummy The food,atmosphere,hospitality was so good and Id love to visit this place again and again.❤️❤️

Such a lovely place to spend our night with Karaoke in their private room. The cocktails were delicious and our waiter Duiaj was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food was devine and enough to take extra home. Thank you Grounded Kitchen, we will be back again very soon.

This is the third time my wife and I have been here for lunch, and it always has been a positive experience. The place has a nice relaxed vibe along side great staff, who from the moment you walk through the door, great you with a warm friendly smile. Our server was Grace, who was very engaging and obviously very passionate about her job. The food itself was superb as usual. The kitchen staff should be very proud of themselves. Not sure what problem Likesitlux had when posting a horrible review of this place, but I imagine he just likes to run restaurants down. This is a fantastic place to visit and have really good food. Check it out!

Had a lovely meal on Friday evening before a show at the Swan. The really friendly server (Grace) went through the menu as it was our first time and we went for the new and delicious salmon rice bowl with bang bang potatoes, chicken & beef baos, fried prawns and lamb dumplings. The service was very fast and delicious food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again.

absolutely amazing food. the lotus cookie waffles were beautiful and they gave me extra! they also gave me some ice cream :) we got 2x stuffed cookies and they were SWEET. maybe a bit too sweet so definitely balance it with some ice cream. all in all tho, fully deserving of 5 stars. very friendly delivery driver as well !

Very pleasant staff, nice venue, clean. Food, generous portion however my beef was very tough and the source was extraordinarily sweet. I have eaten Korean food before and this was not a good example.

Staff are lovely, nice interior, but the food is terrible. Korean chicken wings are not crispy, in fact they have nothing to do with Korean Chicken wings and were served lukewarm even after being sent back for being cold. The rice bowls features a lot of overcooked mushy rice and mayonnaise, I couldn’t work out if it was meant to be a salad or a stir fry, my wife’s curry was similarly uninspiring. I wasn’t expecting much, maybe Wagamama type quality but this fell well short and the lukewarm reheated food is verging on the dangerous.

I ordered the udon noodles with the smoky and sweet bulgogi which was actually spicy enough that my spice intolerant sister couldn't eat it. I like spicy food and I would have expected a 1 chili labe for this.

Been here a few times and love the food. The chicken wings and rice bowls with chicken are my favourite. Very nice ambience made special by the friendly staff. A special note to Grace who is extremely passionate about her work and has some great suggestions according to my dietary requirements absolute star.

We were in celebrating my daughters birthday, she likes the food here, placing our order was real easy, the staff were really helpful. One of our dishes arrived on the cold side so when I questioned if the dish was supposed to be cold the staff explained what the issue was and replaced the the dish even though I wasn't complaining just questioning it, because the menu had changed since we were last in, and we were trying new dishes. Very nice touch for me, it wasn't the fact there was an issue the focus was in my experience. and the near the end of our meal in conversation with Oshika the reason for todays vist was our daughters birthday, Oshika who up to this point was already on for 5 stars brought out a birthday treat which really topped the night off. We will definitely be back and thank you and you colleagues for an excellent night.

We recently dined here and the food was simply amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The service was a bit slow but that in no way detracts from the staff all being very friendly and courteous. We will definitely be returning.

The place is accommodating. Grace, one of the staff, had welcomed me with a smile. It was a very pleasant experience. The food is amazing!! The serving was much more than I expected. Overall, it is a 5 star!

Visited Sunday afternoon. The restaurant felt great being spacious and modern decorated. It was spotless clean (toilet as well when we checked). Very welcoming lady asked for allergies and provided recommendations and warning on heat level. When they indicate very spicy is IS very spicy! Ordered udon for two (salmon and beef) + chicken wings. The food was finger licking good. (Speaking of... Would be great to have wet wipes for chicken). The ice cream to wrap was excellent as well. Above everything else the service by Grace was fantastic... An absolute star. Definitely worth a visit.

Not only is the food delicious but also a great healthy option amongst all the unhealthy fast food options usually on your average high street. Would definitely go again
