Food is seriously tasty. Very well presented and good value. Both times I’ve been there has just been one man on the floor and he has run around serving all tables. Meant service was a little slow but very nice.

The Chef overheard my conservation with the waiter as I asked if the preparation was British standard or traditional Indian He offered to do it traditional and it was a brilliant meal This shows a person with pride in his job it also shows that there is a massive compromise in food preparation for the normal offerings

Decided to go here after having enjoying the food previously at home via a delivery service. Upon entering the restaurant the decor was lovely and elegant, it was quiet but I did go on a Monday night. The staff were attentive and gave good recommendations. The food was amazing!! Presentation was beautiful, they still put in the effort at 9:30pm. I honestly couldn’t fault the food, it was reasonably priced. Lovely local restaurant Thank you for a great meal and a nice evening. I’ll definitely be back when I get the chance!

Me my sis and partner was very very hungry walking up the lavender hill trying to find somewhere nice to eat and we was taken in by the decor and class that literally drew us to the door ….. we was viewing the menu outside when the manager kindly came over and said asked if we needed any help and the smell OMG we was inside in seconds …. It’s one thing to be in a beautiful environment but to also be greeted with amazing service and mouth watering food is amazing it’s defa dark horse that needs to be recognised and seen a lot more than it is but if your looking for an intimate night out with the partner this is the place to go ❤️ thank you for the experience Claire barry and Megan

Such a lovely restaurant - really cool decor, friendly team, and importantly the most tasty food. The butter chicken and king prawn masala were so fresh and full of flavour. Can’t recommend it enough and we will most certainly be back soon!

I’ve been to a few Indians in London but nothing quite as good as this - reasonable prices, friendly professional staff, interesting food but still has all the classics, good portions and everything just super tasty. The after dinner complimentary brandy’s, after eights and oranges were very kind. We all left feeling satisfied and can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you!

This restaurant has recently had a refurb and looks absolutely beautiful inside with super comfortable seating and really nicely laid tables. Staff super lovely, attentive and welcoming. Everything you could want on the menu - if you’re into mild curry like us, the butter chicken was absolutely DELICIOUS! Actually one of the best butter chicken dishes I’ve ever had! The food was all really, really tasty and the portions were very generous. As well as butter chicken I’d recommend the saag paneer & Okra. We will 100% be revisiting and recommending this place to our friends & family 😊

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and still hot upon delivery. Fred was friendly and efficient when delivering our order. The vegetarian options are refreshing and diverse, and the vegetable bhuna is the best I've ever had from a takeaway! We really enjoyed the sides we ordered, they were all tasty and not oily/greasy which can be the case sometimes. For the high quality and amazing taste the price is incredible! Would definitely recommend and we will be ordering again!

Ordered a Takeaway. The food was average at best. Curry had no depth of flavour at all (Lamb Dupiaza) and was swimming in oil. Disappointed. Onion Bhaji also no real flavour to them. Poppadoms however, were quite good. Tried it. Would not order again.

They cook everything sweet they should open sweet shop instead of this restaurant,they not indian cousins, indian food prepared well with different masalas. They have one ready made tadka use it for everything. Come on out some efforts u lazy aaaaas

Food was aversage - watery curries. No otter customers. Toilet facilities worrisome. Sole provision otwards corona virus hygiene in hte gents was one single table napkin for hand drying. The waiter hawking loudly and at lerngth with full volume at the top counter was off-putting....

I am first visit khan epsom, then today I visit battersea branch. The food is absolutely amazing. The flavours are spot on and the food is not bland like a lot of Indian restaurants. They’ll make it according to your taste. Highly recommended.

We are very lucky to have Khans as our local Indian restaurant and it never disappoints. The curries are so fresh and it’s all colour free and authentic tasting! My favourite is the sag with lots of fresh coriander and peppers but all of the special curries are insanely good too. Veggie options are brilliant also!

Not busy so was suspicious that it would be as good as my friend said it would be! Needn’t have worried - Raul was very friendly and unhurried, food interesting, tasty and varied (nephew has had better any where else). Definately will be back!!!

Great place to visit as it is in Battersea and near all venues in central London. We visited early evening and was made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent and served efficiently by the staff who were very helpful.

We visited on a whim, having been out for a few drinks and seeing this restaurant advertised with Tastecard. We were impressed with the food which was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to tailor my main dish to my liking and it tasted lovely. Another table next to us had also found the restaurant via tastecard and were also very happy with the great food and service. It's great to know this of this place as its in a very convenient location when heading into London and the great food and service make it a good stop off for a tasty curry!

Bored lazy waiters who made you feel really unwelcome. Dreadful food....i refused to pay for my dhansak as it was soooo salty. The chicken is from Iceland, they are the only people who cut chicken into those shape strips. Such horrific food. Such sloppy service...i could almost understand the waiters being rude about the customers in their native tongue. Worst Indian EVER.

Hemos estado yendo a este restaurante muy bonito intime por muchos años, y cada vez que entrega una maravilla y una gran experiencia culinaria. La comida es muy sabrosa, siempre. Llegué a kow los chefs y personal muy bien ya que he estado allí muchas veces y el lugar es bastante pequeño. Los vinos también están muy bien de un suministro muy reputada y la selección no es muy grande pero te da una buena selección de clásicos como buena cotes Du Rhone, muy agradable y algunas nuevo mundo sauvignon. Incluso hay 2 800 bt en rojo y 2 en blanco y 3 en la copa y obviamente algunas cervezas muy agradable. Es un gran local con comida y vinos en serio y hay un montón de gente joven local, y también muchas otras personas no tan jóvenes como nosotros que aman tener un tiempo agradable y relajado y comer y beber bien.

I have been coming to Khans for 30 years. While it is no longer possible to enjoy a beer with your meal, the quality and variety of the food can't be great! I am always satisfied and know that I can enjoy delicious Indian food without having to mortgage the house to pay the tab.

We went in quite early so very quiet. The service was good and did not have to wait long for the food. I have eaten here before and was not disappointed this time, it was just as good. You will be happy with whatever meal you have. Don't be afraid to have a conversation with your server, they are willing participants.

One of the worst desi foods I ever had, may be good for non-native eaters but not for people who appreciate desi food with true flavors and spices. The worst thing is they have around 50 main course dishes on the menu, that means with slight variation they create 5-6 dishes from same dish compromising on the original recipe instead of creating one authentic dish, they are creating 5-6 sub standard dishes. Also that means no fresh food instead they put meat in already frozen/stored curry pastes. For true desi lovers go elsewhere.If someone likes their food that means they have not tasted the true desi food, if you like them then surely you will be blown away when you find a true desi restaurant. Not recommended.

I was in London on a Sunday for less than 24 hour. Walking around I found this clean, cozy neighborhood style restaurant. I had a delicious meal served by a very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.Adrianne

As I am gluten intolerant I did check their menu before booking and it advised to check before ordering. So I did, and was told there was nothing on the menu that was gluten free. Surprising as I find rice rarely has gluten in it.... they were clearly not prepared to make any effort merely emphasising they were colour free which is great but that doesn't cause me any problems.... anyway we left. Never happened to me before and obviously an indication of their service attitude. So avoid if you have allergies.

My partner and I live in Battersea and have tried most of the local Indian restaurants for delivery and takeaway, and Khans is by far our favorite! The 15% off coupon for online orders makes it a really good value, and we love the wide variety of dishes and really appreciate that the dishes are fairly healthy and not typically greasy at all. My main complaint is that we have ordered from Khans many times but have experienced a lot of inconsistency in flavor and spiciness in many of the dishes such as the tarka dal, which is sometimes incredibly flavorful and other times bland. Consistently good dishes are the sag paneer and paneer balti wala. The inconsistency is unfortunate because otherwise I would give Khans 5 stars!

This restaurant is great ! Their region specials are delicious. I love all dishes I've tried and they deliver in out off hours just to make sure I was happy ! These guys are a legitimate well run local business and we shall be buying from them every month

It was a challenge to book a table at Khans on previous occasions but I was lucky this time around and booked three months in advance. I was a frequent diner at this restaurant when I lived in London several years ago and rather hoped that nothing had changed. I was not disappointed. Same great service great menu and the usual Khans superb touch. The test is to order a Korma dish because other restaurants serve this as a bland and tasteless dish.... not so Khans! A lovely meal in great surroundings with constant but non pestering service by an inspired and highly professional team. The very best you can experience beating others hands down!

My son loves Indian food. I'd never tried it. We were tired after a full day and wanted to stay close to our hotel so he convinced me to try Khan's. It was excellent! The manager recognized I had no idea what was on the menu, he asked questions, made suggestions and offered tastings. I ended up with a delicious meal! It is a cozy, casual restaurant and it was evident that many of the customers were regulars from the way they were greeted. It was a great value and I would certainly go back.

Great place serving high quality dishes, very natural and tasty. The service is ok depending on how many people there are and how busy the take away calls are. When we had dinner there, one of the waiters was extremely friendly and efficient, the other one rather surly, reminding us at the very end that "service is not included". An overall pleasant experience. Recommended.

Sadly Khans is a bit tired now. The seats were so worn it was uncomfortable to sit for long. The toilets need a good make over as the door was so badly fitted it was a struggle to lock it, the lighting was an extremely now light from a red light bulb which would fade to total darkness if you did not move about for a few seconds. The food was not the best, nothing actually wrong with it but just lacked flavour.

I am VERY fussy when it comes to Indian cuisine but Khans never fails to disappoint. I do find the standard is better when eating in, but I find that with most restaurants. I like that its doesn't feel greasy and oily like most curries and they always tailor make my curry when I request less ginger/no coriander. Would recommend the Gosht Khali and Chicken Tikka Karahi. Even better, they accept tastecard so me and my other half leave feeling full but without much of a dent on the bank balance! Just be weary we have always paid by card when using the tastecard but on our last visit were initially refused card and they didn't seem to believe us when we told them we were regulars who had always used this payment method (our usual server wasn't in on this occasion)

Cobra or Kingfisher beer: 33 or 66 cl; dozens or dishes from very hot to spiced to not at all, and from very hot to not at all. Half a dozen different rices. One small bottle of beer, one main dish and a plate of rice for only £13 - excellent! Lots of customers before Christmas, but no-one had to be turned away.

Really rather disappointing. The food was bland and the staff were overly focussed on selling rather than ensuring we had a good experience. Whilst the owner intervened to sort out a problem regarding the bill it was a little too late to recover the situation. The staff stated that they do not need to communicate what is charged. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

This was my second visit to Khan's and I wasn't disappointed!The don't use food coloring or extra fats so you're getting a healthier take on classic Indian curries.Absolutely recommend the Chicken Tikka and the Garlic Naan although it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. The lime chutney is a delightful surprise.

Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening with another adult and child after booking a table earlier on in the day. Despite only having two diners we were ushered to a table which clearly wasn't ready for service near the toilets. All the other tables had been dressed but this wasn't and had left over grains...not so great. Dispite misgivings and feeling a little rushed to order (any pause of around five seconds and waiter announced he'd be back) we were glad we gave it a chance. Limited soft drink menu but food was very tasty, fresh and spicy. Took 25 minutes for them to roll out samosa starters but when it did arrive was nice. They appeared to get lots of phone calls for delivery which seemed to distract from service at times but I can see why they are so popular. We ordered lamb danshak, chicken saag, lemon rice, pilau rice and naan. Good portion sizes and overall good value for money. Perhaps they just aren't fond of tastecard users! Worth a visit and would go back.

Once you get over the surly service the food is very good. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, feels welcoming, but they just need a new waiter, or the waiter needs to know that customers pay his wages! Would go again just for the food and the value.

My boyfriend and I came out for a quiet romantic meal...that is exactly what we got and then some! The food here is so delicious I'm struggling to even put it into words. Everything tastes so natural as they pride themselves on Low Fat and Colour Free cooking. The waiter explained that they dont even use things like ghee, salt etc in their cooking and you can really taste the difference. I was astounded that they accept Tastecard aswell and it was 50% off the total food bill. The meal ended up costing about £50 with drinks (and we had a LOT of food!) - my boyfriend had the Bengal Fish Masala and said its one of the nicest things he's ever tasted. The service is excellent too, friendly staff and also the location is nice. We would highly recommend this place - you wont be disappointed!!! :)

When the waiter came, they said that they don't take credit cards. This was weird, as they advertise on the door that they do.

This restaurant was very friendly and welcoming in an excellent location! It is right beside tube station! I made wrong choice with my dish and I left most of it on my plate! The waiter immediately noticed and got me another dish which I thoroughly enjoyed! Overall a nice experience.

Loads of choice on the menu, and they a happy to customise as required. Poppa doms offered whilst we were scouring the menu. Loved every dish we chose. Lovely quiet environment in which to eat and chat. Complementary Bailies digestif a nice touch.

A group of 8 of us (4 guys 4 girls) cant upon Khan' decided very last minute to go for a curry and saw their 50% offer – which includes large groups – and decided to do some research. There are many reviews online for this restaurant and all rate it very highly, and this is another one. The food is excellent (interesting and tasty), the value for money is great (after the 50% deal I think we ended up being about £17 per person for main each, sharing naan & rice and about 3 drinks each!) and the service is very friendly and attentive. I will certainly go back and will be looking to see if they do takeaway as well!

We have visited several times with our young boys and are always treated very well. We love the food, had an especially good prawn puree this time. Definitely recommended for a local curry.
