The best restaurants serving American food in England

It took the restaurant some time to cook our food. but it was worth of the wait! their burger was soft and juicy and everyone loved it! Anamika was the young lady serving us. She was kind and accommodative.

Food arrived and was underwhelming. Items were missing and clearly hadn’t been packed by Foxy Wings as they were part of a meal deal. Manager hid behind the fact that we ordered through Deliveroo and didn’t offer in any way to rectify the situation we were in. Told us to seek a refund through Deliveroo. However that does not help the situation in that moment….. family still hungry!! Overall the most expensive burgers we have ever eaten!!!!!! After being such huge supporters of this individual business and even crowdfunding this space I am hugely disappointed in the lack of customer service. I have recommended this restaurant numerous times. Missing items is not the issue, how management deal with that is the problem. Very very poor! If Foxy Wings choose to use Deliveroo then they must be prepared, particularly as an independent restaurant, to consider how your reputation could be damaged in situations such as this. The management were completely inflexible and didn’t seem to see the issue. Getting a refund in a couple of weeks time doesn’t ensure we all enjoy and eat a celebration meal together now!

Great food and great sizes for the price staff are kind and they make sure you're happy with everything would 100%recomend

Atmosphere is definitely more formal that the other restaurants but not stuffy. Great steak and cocktails, would recommend.

Friez and Burgz (South Shields - tried multiple times to upload pictures of the atrocity you served us so I will repost until I get a Refund!!) ARE you for real having the audacity to take £40 off a regular customer and serving us this??? The driest sausage patties, raw bacon, grease filled hash tots, burnt buns and absolutely stone cold where the cheese hasn't even melted! And then not to answer your phone! Your REGULAR customers put you where you are today - perfect example of greed over quality and customer care.

To be honest, the place looks fancy but foods are not good. 😊 The steak wasn’t properly cooked. Staff were friendly :) In terms of foods they need improvement

An amazing offer is going for students where they can claim 30% off on first waffle and 50% of on their second waffle by showing your id card which is awesome, any students can claim enjoy this delecious waffle.

Fish & Chips are really nice but in today's order there was a small metal.piece from a scourer. I phoned them up and they promised a refund.

The food was stone COLD, all parts of the order not just one! Tried to call restaurant and no answer on hold for over 20 minutes and gave up. The quantity in the order was also a lot less almost half the amount for the same price. Not impressed

Excellent food, excellent value. Excellent friendly staff. Could not fault this place. Great menu will definitely be back. We arrived with a big grp and they quickly accommodated us. Thank you

Walked past it today and it has had to close written on the door. It just said for unseen circumstances. It is a shame as it was a very nice cafe/restaurant.

Used this venue for the first time with family members for a birthday celebration. The ordering process online was easy, being able to choose a time was convenient and when I went to collect the food I was warmly greeted and the food ready. This was quite a large order and everyone was happy with their food and would definitely recommend and use again. The only suggestion I would make to the online ordering system is to introduce functionality to advise delivery charges (based on post code) so an informed decision whether to deliver or collect can be made before going through the order process.
