The best restaurants serving American food in Yorkshire and The Humber

We've been here a few times on a Friday evening. The food is lovely, drinks and cocktails great, prices are good and the place is lovely..... the reason we wont be returning is that one of the staff was in the toilet when my husband went in and the staff member used the toilet then walked straight out without going near the sink to wash his hands. This is disgusting! He served had already served our food and our drinks! Gross!!

Came here for drinks last weekend and there was a decent atmosphere. As a whole the drinks weren’t badly priced and a decent amount of choice available!!

The staff were incredibly rude and dismissive and the coffee was more like warm milk than coffee, even though I ordered an extra shot. I had a couple of sips, paid for it and left, because life is way too short to drink bad coffee.

We booked the Porterhouse Restaurant based on the photos on TripAdviser BUT we were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant to be told that it is no longer a Steakhouse and has not been a Steakhouse for 2 years!! We however decided to stay for dinner and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the steak. It was tender and cooked to his specification. I had the Beef, ale and mushroom pie which was a bit disappointing. The pastry was very soggy, the broccoli was so overcooked it was basically mush and the new potatoes were very overcooked. One plus was that the cutlery was presented in a sealed packet although the condiments were what we would have had on the table pre-covid. I did see a waitress wiping down the chairs and just changed the table cloth but the condiments were not wiped down If we had a choice, we would not eat here again.

Brought the wicked variety bucket. Worst decision ever!!! The coating on the chicken was overdone….how I don’t know as allegedly it’s timed!!! The chicken was overly greasy and somehow little bits of some of the cuts were raw/undercooked. This is truly the worst KFC I have had anywhere in the world. Will not be going back to this particular KFC ever again

So far we have just oredered and found out that they have illegaly have NO WATER in fact the waiters even have no water that they have to buy their own, then when we asked to speak to the manager, and the waiter said there is not a manager right now! Overall the experience was average, as i found a piece of hair in my food but the interior was beautiful! They were out of stock for more than 1 ice creams.They charge for strawberries that say are free!

I hired STB for my wedding, thirteen guest ended up getting sick. Upon contacting STB they refused to admit any liability and basically laughed in my face. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Easily my favourite spot in Sheffield. The Swiss Tony burger is 100% recommended. Staff is friendly and establishment is fun.

Visited Sheffield QFM Broughton Lane, Sophie very efficient and friendly, clean premises and loos. Enjoyed brew and Danish pastry. Thank you

When something goes wrong and you make a complaint the Manager Saima Tabassum refuses to deal with it she will ignore all communication with you! Very unprofessional and ignorant of a Manager even calls customers a liar! Be warned she is v unprofessional as a Manager!

Incompetence personified the restaurant is dirty and the staff are incompetent, the service is incredibly slow and when the food comes it is cold, been here several times and it’s always the same, it’s not difficult guys you sell fast food it’s a place of convenience when people need food fast you do none of it. I used the bathroom facility yesterday and it was dirty and smelly and no one appears to care I won’t be using this particular McDonald’s again.

Good venue with good music but the bar staff seem to want to serve the younger generation that they seem to know before customers who have been there for a good 10 minutes at least before them. Specifically the lad with the blue in his hair. Not good customer service

Arrived for lunch. Virtually empty. Waited at least 5 mins at the bar while at least 3 members of staff saw us. Didn't acknowledge we were waiting and just ignored us. We left without lunch or drink. Won't be returning
