Didn't have food They have good beer especially Belhaven stout.

Disgusting. Can't describe how bland the food was. The only thing fresh was the box they gave, and thats being generous. The chips tasted like cardboard, the burger had 0 cheese or flavour literally drier than a desert. The donnor felt more like beef jerky. The waiting time for delivery was so long as well. Would not recommend it to anyone.

We came in for a few drinks and the bartender Cameron was lovely and chatty. We also got chatting to the two servers Ben and Ruta who were good to chat to and could be seen constantly smiling. The manager who greeted us at the door was also amazing. We had a few cocktails and beers and they were delicious

Do t think I’ve ever left a 1* review before but I could not find any positives about this place. Haven’t been for a few years and shocked at how down hill it’s gone. The actual restaurant was cold and completely lacked any atmosphere. The seats were dirty as were the menus. The food was grim. Didn’t taste very nice, luke warm and the bread was rock hard. Serving staff weren’t interested and boarded on being quite rude. Toilets were filthy. Tried to reach out to a Manager and was offered an apology. Wouldn’t waste my time or money in trying again.

I recently visited five guys in Harrogate and it was fantastic the staff and friendly and helpful with recommendations the burgers were cooked to perfection the interior is clean with a nice seating area I would definitely recommend if you have not tried

3 times recently I’ve tried going to the rock cafe which online it states opens at 11.30. I’ve arrived at 12.15 to 12.30 on all occasions and it has not been open. Very poor

Have been to this place couple of times with family. Very happy with everything. The food was delicious, staff were friendly, the chef came to ask how was the food and on top of all was happy to see manager a hands on person. He wasn't just sitting there but worked as part of a team. 10/10 both times.

After looking at the menu i plumped for the fully loaded burger which came with fries and a drink of your choice, at a cost of £12.50. I haven't been here before and was expecting something quite special for the price. OH how I was wrong , after waiting over 30minutes i was finally given my order which came in a nice ,what i can only call , a small shoe box. with great expectations I opened the box to find some over cooked fries ,a small pot of Mayo and a sad looking burger . The fully loaded burger came with house sauce ,lettuce ,tomato , 2 pieces of pickle a slice of cheese and thin squashed over cooked piece of meat which was dry and tough. I would have been better going to MCDONALDS AND GETTING 2 BIG MAC MEALS which would have been tastier and cheaper . I cant see myself stepping over the threshold at this place again....

I ordered at 7:30 on uber eats not even a big order i scheduled it to be here for 9:15-9:45 still a joke but was willing to wait. I then got notified my order was only going to be here at 10:30 onwards. I called up politely asking about it i was very rudely answered too i asked if i would have my money back and was phone put down . Luckily ive had a message saying i will from uber eats .

Been going here for many years. His donner meat and chips is excellent, comes with a large choice of salad and sauce. This man has been running this shops for more than 30 years. No one lasts that long if the food wasn't good.

On two separate occasions my order has been "cancelled" by the restaurant. With no legitimate reason and when I've tried to call, incessantly, they haven't answered. The order was made at a reasonable time i.e. 8.30/9.00 but still they have been unable to fulfil. Therefore leaving me having to find alternative food providers. When they deliver they're mediocre "pay for what you get" no complaints. But I for one will not order from thrm again.
