Never again. From walking in we were regretting the decision to eat here the smell was awful very greasy smell to the whole restaurant. So our server seemed fab very chatty and friendly taking our drinks order. They took 15-20 minutes to arrive. Starters arrived and they also took some time we asked for cutlery to eat our starters we were told to bare with them whilst they went to search their words for some forks, knives weren’t a problem just forks. We also asked for a couple of side plates for our starters the server came back after 10 minutes and apologised as she had to find some clean ones! Then the starter was pretty spicy I got the attention of a server and ordered more drinks but again 15-20 minutes later after chasing them the drinks arrived at this point there was less than 15 people including our party of four. Our mains arrived and one of our party ordered something with their signature slaw… my word it was so dry and looked like it had been under the heat lamp for the whole of the day it was flagged up to the server and he said oh sorry yeah it does look bad I’ll go grab you some more… leaving the plate with the awful looking/tasting slaw! Brought a pan of slaw again not much better so we just cracked on there was no point to this at all! Anyway the toilets wow just wow they were vile there was toilet roll literally all over the floor and most of the toilets were blocked! There some manky signs instructing people how to flush the toilet that were all tatty! Just disgusting. I asked for the bill and then to speak to the manager who tried justifying the table not being set, lack of cutlery & crockery, staff taking time to bring drinks/food and the state of the presentation of the food by being under staffed…. I said why did they let us in as a walk in if they weren’t geared up for the footfall of 15 people in the restaurant. We got nearly half the price off our bill still a kick in throat of spending £75 a load of rubbish food and absolutely abysmal service in a scruffy restaurant. Unfortunately no pictures taken as we were just so dumbfounded by it all. Will 100% not be returning.

What can I say?...Jordan is absolutely fantastic. A real credit to TGI's. He actually made the whole evening how it was. He could not do enough for us. Every member of the party was very impressed by Jordans customer care. This is by far the best service we have recieved at TGI's and I will definitely be returning. Thank you Jordan :-)

Foods average, what let's it down most is the price (£4.30 for a can of Dr. Pepper) chicken and chips £21! Our waiter Kolbie was great, really attentive. Jack Daniels source needs to go back to its original recipe.

came for lunch with my nan was a busy morning shift and was served by meg who was amazing!! met our every needs and ran the whole restaurant practically by herself! food was fab definitely will be back!

We arrived 20 minutes early for our booking and was told we'd have to wait at the bar until out time despite there being plenty of empty tables. We were eventually seated and the woman taking us to our table asked if we're celebrating. It was our son's 6th birthday. Despite telling them this my son recieved nothing special even though other tables around us were sang to by staff etc. When we received our starters they brought an extra one out. Not wanting to be charged for it we told our waiter who asked which one of the doubles up starter we'd like to keep. My wife told him she'd touched one already so that one. He said it does matter the other one is going in the bin. The calamari was burnt and rock hard, the corndogs where cold and the potato skins were burnt with hardly any toppings. We also had no sauces or salt on our table. My son ordered Mac & cheese for his main which tasted like it had zero cheese in it. My wife had the fajitas and the peppers and onions where almost raw amd the cheese she recieved was next to none. My 'ultimate rib combo' came out twice, meaning another meal will have gone in the bin, and I couldn't help but laugh. The ribs were cooked ok but bland, there were about 7 fries, the corn was unseasoned and had no butter and the funniest part was the small pot of dry white/brown cabbage I received as 'coleslaw'. Plates where also dirty. Mid way through the meal we tried to order my son another drink and was told by the only person who came anywhere near us that she couldn't take out order it had to be our server. After 20 minutes we gave up. This was genuinely the worst dining experience I've ever had. Staff had no idea what they was doing, food was dreadful and the coat for this experience was astronomical. Absolute daylight robbery. I wouldn't eat her again for free.

LAST EVER VISIT TO TGI’S As a loyal customer for over 25 years we went out for a Meal out for our sons birthday, the restaurant was hardly busy. Bar and food Service was very slow, food when it arrived was cold, overdone/burnt/dry, we complained and management was very defensive and tried to blame us for the mistakes and made us feel very uncomfortable. This Spoilt our night. The lady manager Jordan (I think) needs to ensure her staff are trained correctly. As we were leaving there were also another couple of tables who were also sending food back and complaining. So my question to Jordan - is this the customers fault too or is your management skills I wonder?

The service was the best it could have been under the circumstances, the poor waitress was stretched to her limits, she did her best to make us feel comfortable. The food was disgusting, dry, overcooked, cold. Presentation a big fat NIL. The restaurant was practically empty but we were told they had a backlog and would have to wait around 45 minutes between starter and main😡THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

This spot is great for making memories and enjoying delicious food whether it’s with family or friends. Would highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

This was my first time ever to any TGI Fridays. I loved the cool, quirky pop culture themed decor. The staff were friendly and food was served quickly, was very filling that we didn't need dinner that night. The only downside was that given we went midweek lunchtime there wasn't much of an atmosphere as it was very quiet which is to be expected.

We are regular TGI customers and tonight was possibly our worst experience yet. Starters came out cold so we sent back. Then the mains were sub-par and again two of the dishes very cold. Service was very slow for drinks and food. Really unhappy customers. ☹️

Unfortunately we wasn’t impressed the meat was over done, dry and tasteless. We had already sent one meal back which was burnt so the other 3 meals we just ate because we was hungry and we had traveled 45minutes. We go to the Birstall one in Leeds often and have never been disappointed but this one I wouldn’t waste your money. We only went because we was doing an escape room in the complex. The server Lucy H we had no complaints she was lovely and helpful and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and looked clean. But we will not be visiting this TGIs again.

Ryan Parker is a very polite professional young man he really does look after you making sure you have drinks and that your food is as it should be.

I have been visiting TGIs for years, but in the last two years it has just become increasingly worse. After todays visit, I will not return. Firstly, my partner ordered a sharing portion of franks boneless wings and some cheese and maple bacon loaded fries, a meal that came to a total of £23.15 for the two items alone. Now I appreciate that the boneless bites were from the appetiser section of the menu, but they were labelled as ‘to share’ and were priced at £16.85. The loaded fries, again I appreciate they were a ‘side’ but they were £6.30 alone. The entire meal fit on a small side plate, it was nothing more than a child portion of glorified chicken nuggets and chips. Although the food tastes fine, we were appalled at the portion sizes for a meal costing over £23. There were 7 chicken bites, I can’t understand how that could be sold as a sharing dish, unless you were expected to be satisfied with 3 and a half small bites of chicken. For almost £17 I am absolutely disgusted. Not to mentioned that I ordered the child’s boneless bites for my 1 year old, priced at £5.95 including his two sides - he received 5 chicken bites on his meal. It’s baffling to me how a kids meal and an adults sharing dish can have a portion difference of 2 bites but have such a difference in price. I ordered a franks chicken burger. When my meal arrived I was satisfied with how it appeared, there was a skewer on top with some boneless bites on, I ate them before starting my burger, naturally. I bit into my burger and all I got was bread and coleslaw; I took another bite, and again, bread and slaw. I lifted the lid of the bun to check they hadn’t forgot to add the chicken burger, and I was shocked to see the smallest piece of grilled chicken sat on a mountain of coleslaw and pickled cabbage. My partner got the attention of a server to show her what had been served to me and she immediately apologised and said she was shocked that that was sent out to me before I even explained what my issue was - it was very obvious that the piece of chicken I had received was not sufficient and could not be classed as a burger. She insisted it was remade and took my plate away. I could not fault her for how she dealt with the problem. By the time my meal had returned, my partner and son had finished eating their whole meal, I didn’t mind because I understood fresh food takes a little time to prepare. Visually the new burger again looked fine, i lifted the lid to check and the burger, although still quite small, was much more reasonable. Now I really enjoy spicy food, I appreciate I opted for a meal that was inevitably going to have a little kick to it considering it was a Franks hot sauce burger, but what I bit into was horrendous. There was an obscene amount of chilli flakes scattered all over the bread, cheese, chicken and coleslaw inside my burger. Every inch way littered with red specks. I hate to complain and I never complain about my food when I eat out, I already felt guilty about raising an issue with my first dish so I didn’t say anything. I like spice so I scraped off the mound of obvious chilli flakes and continued with my meal. After a few more bites my whole mouth was on fire, my nose was running and my eyes were watering and it was completely inedible. I removed the chicken form inside the burger, scarped off more of the visible chilli and just ate the chicken. I know this dish was intended to be slightly spicy, but what I received was completely inedible, it burnt my tongue and I could not taste a single thing after the first bite. I have ordered the franks burger many times at TGIs, and I had tried the first burger sent to me, never before had it been spicy to me. It was clear that the dish had been intentionally smothered with chilli flakes, probably because I had sent it back. When we paid, our server asked if everything was ok with our meal, I showed her my plate with the mountain of chilli flakes on and explained that my food was inedible after the remake, she agreed that it had an obvious abundance of chilli flakes on it, but said that she doubted the kitchen staff had done it on purpose. Perhaps it wasn’t done on purpose, maybe the flakes came out faster than intended, or maybe it was a simple mistake due to how busy the restaurant was; but either way, it shouldn’t have been served to me. Nor should I have been expected to pay for it. My server asked me if I wished to speak to somebody about it, but I hate confrontation and in my opinion, raising the issue with my server was me ‘speaking to somebody about it’ so I said no and that I just wanted to bring it to her attention. She said ok, handed me the receipt and told me to enjoy the rest of my day, in an obvious dismissal. Never again will I waste my money on this mass made, inedible rubbish.

This is a place where you know what your going to get. Friendly staff and food that is reasonably good. Good to see they have brought back the downtown and uptown set menu as recently I feel the prices have increased dramatically.
