Always a great visit as it has a great atmosphere and can choose your own music to put on.

The Race Night that they had was fantastic

Visited on a Sunday afternoon lovely vibe to the place very friendly and welcoming.

Very quiet, little or no atmosphere. Not sure I would eat here but something like a meat pie was smelling good in the bar.

The pub is really nice and clean the staff are really nice the tvs are great especially for sport when they show football and rugby matches also its dog friendly

If you like a warm welcome DO NOT go here, the place has gone downhill, each time I have been recently the food has been horrible and staff are very rude and unwelcoming.

Recently moved to the area and love the fact that one of my locals is dog friendly.

Attended a wake here ,1st visit , Not the best circumstances however the food was very good and the staff helpful and attentive, would visit again under different circumstances.

This is probably slightly better than the other pubs along this route and has a decent beer garden. The only bugbear I had was my wife got a small white wine which was £5. This isn't London. Very pricey I thought for this kind of pub.

Visited for the first time this afternoon after a celebration of life for a lovely friend and colleague. Really friendly ladies running the pub, interesting variety of beers and ciders and a very welcome mug of tea if preferred. Lovely selection of food at the buffet including homemade lasagne which was particularly delicious . My first visit but it won’t be my last.

Friendly staff. Pub reasonably warm inside. Plenty of tables to sit and eat and pool table if you fancy a game. Lacks some comfortable chairs but worth a visit

Fantastic home made pizzas highly recommend this place for food and the prices are very reasonable. The bar staff are also very friendly

This is a great place, good atmosphere and drinks selection. Dogs most welcome which is fab with dog treats on the bar. Come in, you will enjoy it.

Steady away, nice pint, pool table. Not the cheapest but reasonable

Menu and phone number differs to the web page, having found the correct number I phoned to book table. We didn't need to Saturday lunch as it was quiet. Snacks on the menu, burgers, hot dogs and pizzas. Cheap and cheerful but got food. Mum had a 3 cheese pizza which for me was a tad over cooked, my hot dog was in two as they had run out of longer rolls. Enjoyed it but could be better. Leeds United on tv so a few men in sat around the door area like a welcoming committee.

I have enjoyed lunch previously at the deep drop. It is our local, and has been renovated and decorated very tastefully. However, the staff are surly, and if you want to stop off for a last few drinks on a Saturday night hold on!! They serve last orders at 10.30!! There other more welcoming pubs on Leeds Road

Great customer service. Proper sound lasses. And the food is awesome. Big fan of the hot rocks fillet steak.

Meat wasnt nice. Didnt have a choice of meat it comes with beef pork and chicken it was pre packed meat. If you don't like pork its tuffyour getting it.

Would have been better if they had the lamb in & mayonnaise for my chips, should order stuff in if they are on last tub or go to Tesco’s den rd , was ok

Only went because empire fish restaurant closed. Very nice steak and ale pie. Proper home made chios. No one else in at 05.40 so no atmosphere

We were recommended the Deep Drop & decided to visit one early evening a couple of months ago & we all (2 adults, 2 late teens) really enjoyed it & since then we’ve become regulars. The staff are friendly & the food is always lovely, especially the steak & ale pie & homemade chips. Honestly can’t fault it Finally a pub in outwood selling lovely home cooked food.

The Deep Drop is a really nice pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I really recommend both this pub and the Doombar Amber Ale that they serve here. If you like ale you won't be disappointed!

Went for mother's Day. There's a lady with shoulder length dark hair and she couldn't been being more abrupt. Her customer service was appalling. I've been to malt shovel a few times and she's been the same but now seems worse.

The sirloin steak on a hot rock was fantastic. Dont think the chicken on hot rock is suitable though for hygiene reasons. My friend was nervous of dealing with it because it arrives raw initially. He is keen to return to try the lamb though.

Over priced for what you actually get. At the end of the day it’s a pub not a city centre restaurant. If I’m paying £20 a steak I don’t want to have to cook it myself. Also clientele in the pub wasn’t great. Staff poor. Definitely need to work on their people skills. I don’t think I’ll be returning for food anytime soon. However the pub itself has had a lovely refurb.

Decided to go back to this pub after our first visit a couple of weeks ago and noting that the food looked and smelt good. The bar was quiet so couldn't understand when it took an hour for the food to be served. The food was tasty but I wasn't impressed that I still had to wait for my chicken to fully cook on the hot stone when it was brought to the table. I thought it would be cooked and on the stone like a sizzler platter where it keeps food warm. The chicken was raw in the middle so I had to cut it up into smaller pieces for it to cook quicker. This meant I had utensils then that had been cutting up raw chicken!! Bit of health and safety issue there I feel. We all felt let down by the service and if it was a hassle that we had ordered food. No smiles and plates placed loudly down on the table. This experience has put me off going back and I really don't know how they manage when the pub is full.
