Great food and great service! Prices are very reasonable and you get great portions for it! Would highly recommend to all!

Over an hour to wait then when the food come the chicken burger didn’t look cooked and had none of the toppings on we requested and the chips were cold.

cost was a lot more than going direct delivery was past latest time though was on way for ovr 25 mins even though takeaway is about 5mins away so part of a multi drop and obviously last on list so food was cold. got charged for free items

I have been coming here just over 13 years. Better than nandos! The food quality & portions are brilliant. The staff are always friendly & have become family to me. Irfan, Immy, Lala & Hasan all top lads. 9 years later still go every week. Regards Romeo

Been using chunky for years never had a bad meal always tasty and cooked perfect. Top lads and service always look forward to a chunky.

Having ordered from here in the past and many positive experiences my experience as of late hasn’t been great, late deliveries & this evening after waiting over an hour & 15 minutes for the order to then be cancelled. It’s a shame as the foods stellar, but you’ve lost a future customer

Food was good. Staff didn’t make us feel welcome and were a bit rude and extra loud. Also when asked for their recommendations on food they were not honest.

Went here yesteday night. Friendly, straightforward guy who seemed to be the manager on the till. Had a very long wait for food which seemed to be undercooked. I got a chicken burger as seen in the photo and the batter was white and soggy which I didn't dare touch due to its appearance and didn't want to get ill. only thing cooked were the chicken nuggets. Went home hungry, won't be coming back.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight and very glad we did! Peri chicken chips are definitely a good choice. Best of all was the delivery driver who was ahead of schedule and very cheerful. Top rated place 👍

delivery in total was 1 hour 45 minutes. the food arrived 15 minutes after it left the restaurant less than 5 minutes away. The food was only luke warm.

Chunky Chicken is by far the best place in Wakefield for the humble fries chicken, the pieces are kind and not too small, the prices are fitting and well. Chunky Chicken have always delivered on-time and have never been late. as a regular customer I had ordered pieces of chicken which I normally don't to which I got a phone call asking if I was sure if those particular pieces were what i wanted, I appreciate that they reached out to confirm if my order was correct. to me thats amazing.

£35 order arrived. 3 burgers, all without chips, a kids meal and a small portion of cheese bites. Such a waste of money for a poor quality order. Never again

The place needed a clean, a deep clean. It has sticky floors and I dreaded touching the table and chairs. The chicken was overcooked, and I dare not touch the salad that came with the meal. Shame as it was referred to me hence why I went.

disgusting, chicken wings were roar still pink, southern fried chicken was soggy and cold, the burger was flat cold and the chips looked like they were cooked with a hairdryer, when I phoned to complain the said the chicken wings looked pink because they were so fresh.... had to put all the food in the air fryer and it was still horrible all went in the bin even the dog turned his nose up at it, licked his sack instead of eating it. tells you everything

Peri peri chicken fries are my favourite. And always request for some extra jalapenos and they happily do it. I have tried fried chicken combo box it's so filling. But to me, chicken is a bit salty (fried chicken). Service is fab.

food was not ready on time, waited till receiving the ready for collection notification before setting off got there and they told us they haven’t even started making it yet.clearly rushed as we was missing pieces from our meal and chips were pretty much flat cold. normally very good service here and use very often.not happy with meal at all

My favourite takeout in Wakefield. Consistent and always tastes good.

Food eventually turned up 1hr40mins late from ordering. When it finally arrived the food was stone cold bland and tasteless. If you are that busy turn off the machine and catch up with orders so people don’t receive cold food and have to wait nearly 2hrs

It's been about 4 years since I last had Chunky Chicken because of moving for university, so I wanted to see if the quality of their food was still as I remember it - I'm delighted to say they have blessed me once more with their consistently yummy wraps and burgers. Tortilla and bread were nice and soft, lettuce is crisp, chicken flavourful. Tried the popcorn chicken tonight and it was lovely. Thank you for being consistently delicious and even tastier than the big names out there.

Great pizza, cooked to perfection which arrived steaming hot with a fresh, crisp green salad as a side dish along with a smooth mint dip and a large (very generous) portion of fries from Chunky Chicken of Wakefield. Very rapid delivery by driver who was extremely polite and attentive ensuring my order was correct and as I had phoned it through. As usual “Just Eat”are still number 1. in their field giving the customer service sadly lacking in other would be imitators ! 5 stars for Chunky Chicken👍

Amazing chicken fresh salad and chips definitely the best halal chicken in Wakefield. Also the garlic mayo was soo tasty 🤤. Highly recommended lovely staff will definitely be going again

Really tasty food for a good price, didn't have to wait long. Eat in the takeaway and tables etc were very clean. Good customer service also. I will deffo be making this my regular takeaway.
