Love it We come back again and again

The manager and the chef had words and the chef exploded threw something at the manager and then stormed off. Still continued shouting and slamming things around the whole time we was here. Very uncomfortable, very awkward and we would have walked if we hadn’t already had starters and drinks. I’m afraid we will probably not return to the place. The manager could have at least apologised to us seen as we was sat right in front the kitchen at the time it all happened. The chef was swearing, glaring at everyone and the whole time after it happened. Very unprofessional and aggressive behaviour.

Myself and my husband called into the parkgate Rotherham branch today for breakfast, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, we were shown straight to our table and our drinks orders were taken straight away, once we had our drinks our food orders were taken by Sarah who was extremely friendly and helpful she is a credit to the restaurant, we both ordered a full English breakfast, the food was very tasty and didn’t take long to be prepared and arrive at our table we would recommend to all,

Leah's customer service was exceptional. Very welcoming and polite and happy. Was very helpful when we were a little unhappy with a dish but got it sorted and made it no issue whatsoever.

The girl serving us was brilliant but the manager on shift needs to learn some people skills, and learn how to speak to people, if that’s who’s running your restaurants then you’re a company with no morals or standards. The woman blonde hair mid 30s spoke to the waitress like absolute garbage and I take my hat off to the young girl for not stooping to her level

had set menu skin potatoes were burnt ! and the spag bol had no taste .. the food cost £35 for 2 for lunch the place was empty no surprises ... at one point the music was turned up so load we couldnt hear each other !! there was no atomsphere

We have visited this place many times for meals and have always had a great experience. However, this time, although the table service was good and the food was enjoyable, our experience was disrupted. While my husband and I were eating, a female staff member decided to take her break right behind us and began listening to a talk show on her phone. This made it difficult for us to enjoy the ambiance of the room where we were having lunch. The loud phone conversation was very distracting, and it was disappointing to have our mealtime atmosphere disrupted in this way. It would have been better if the staff member had chosen a different place to take her break, considering that customers pay to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. This particular establishment is known for its classic swing music and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, and it's a shame that our visit was marred by this inconsiderate behavior from a staff member.

We pre booked a table for 6pm was there at 5 56pm was waiting more than 10 minutes to be seated ended up having to ask someone who was running round like a headless chicken. They said find a seat and we will be with you soon. Nothing for 15 minutes. I had to go to the bar and order drinks which took another 10 minutes to arrive then she spills one of them all over the table! At this point I had enough and was wanting to leave 40 minutes later and we actually get a waiter with menus an hour later we get our food not before kicking off again about the waiting around. In this time 3 couples and a family of 5 got up and walked out disgusted about the lack of service something we nearly did and wished we had as the steak wasn't cooked medium to well done it was still bloody. Also you should concentrate on the customers on the floor ans not the takeaway side of things. Not be going back anytime soon.

It's been a while since I've been. I paid nearly £15.00 for essentially, a bowl of lettuce, a few croutons, some dressing and a very small chicken breast. £4.70 for a small milkshake. Overpriced.

Clean restaurant good vibes tasty food but kinda expensive.

The food was gorgeous and plentiful. I would recommend you all to try the lasagne. Very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of parking spaces and situated just on the entrance to park gate retail world.

Called for breakfast today we haven't had a breakfast In there for a while. The food and service was excellent nothing too much of a problem as I asked for something different than in the menu which I must say I will be having again eggs poached perfectly.

Great food, quick service by friendly staff

Late lunch for 2 on a rainy afternoon. We were seated immediately in a lovely circular booth and promptly approached by our server for our drinks order.in turn this was brought to our table without delay. The daytime menu seems to be reduced in options but we settled on a grains salad with chicken breast and a mac n cheese. I'm surprised that there is no pasta salad option but... the food came quickly from the pass and was very tasty . I think it's a bit pricy for 2 we had 2 diet cokes and the food mentioned £37.70 Server was chatty and helpful she made sure we had everything needed and was really friendly despite being busy as only 2 servers working. Job well done . I forgot her name bit if company check their reviews it was check no 39 .

I don't normally eat here as I didn't rate the food. However my adult son wanted to drop in for lunch yesterday. I had the salmon with veg and grains and it was delicious. Cooked very well. So I think I'll be returning.

Decided to go out for tea last night to frankie and benny s with my daughter, the food was beautiful , didn't have a long waiting time, when food came was beautiful and everything was hot, we was served by a lovely lady called Sarah, was polite and really helpful, was nice and chatty with us made us feel at ease, even took a photo of us, so we could get a nice photo of our outing. Checked in on us asking if we was happy with food, and asking when we were ready to order our mains, a lovely service and a lovely tea out, plus we got 40% off. Thank you Sarah.

Our server was absolutely brill. The food was slightly overpriced especially the childrens menu. Nothing for under 2's IE small plates with just 1 or 2 chicken tenders or the likes,but was very nice. The restaurant it's self was a bit cluttered and seemed as though they had put as many tables/booths in as they could get. They need to sort the door out aswell as with people coming and going it would just slam shut and when you are at the tables nearest to it you had full force ear blast . We were a family of 3 adults and an 18 mth old.

Ordered food at 10:00pm and they cancelled my order at 11:10pm after they had closed. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Had a nice meal with my daughter. She had a hunters chicken type thing and I had ribs. When we've eaten there before both dishes were smothered with bbq sauce. Not this time. When we asked for more bbq sauce we were each charged extra for it. Only a tiny pot, and it was a pound each. Not a lot maybe, but when you pay over sixteen quid for a meal, it should be right. Probably won't go back in a hurry.

Lovely food friendly and helpful staff, my server Ian was brilliant, helped us to feed my grandson, and would recommend it to everyone 😀

Great service from the waitress serving us today! I appreciate the care and attention you took around my daughters food and drink who has celiac disease. We all enjoyed our food, and the kids especially enjoyed their deserts, which are all gluten-free. We will definitely go again

Don't ever got to any Frankie & Bennys on a bank holiday, me and my partner called in for some lunch and every question we asked was met with "no not on a bank holiday" and to be honest the last two times I've eaten there I've sent it back because it was cold, lovely food let down by serving it cold.

Lovely place, friendly staff and the food was beautiful!

Eaten here in the past and it was nice but when I went again on Friday night 8th March I was absolutely disgusted by the food. I ordered a medium-rare Sirloin steak and what the chef tried to dish me up was a piece of very well done thin frying steak and still try to charge me £25 for a Sirloin. As soon as it turned up on my table I called the waitress back and told her that this was not Sirloin and it wasn't even medium-rare. What was on my plate, I wouldn't have given it to a dog. The waitress went back and told the chef. I could see him from where I was sitting and I could tell he wasn't happy but he clearly thought it was funny. This chef doesn't deserve to work in an establishment such as this one. When my sirloin did turn up it wasn't the best cut of Sirloin and I would have put it on par with a £4 75 cheap cut that you would find in Asda. My gripe is that this fool of a chef thought he could give me a rubbery piece of frying steak instead of a Sirloin. The waitress was lovely though and I could tell she was embarrassed by the situation.

Had a great time food was great but despite there only be a few people in the service was very slow and the staff just stood around near the kithchen but they were very friendly.

Quick to sit down, waited a while for drinks but don't mind that too much, food was okay the hotdog was quite good but chips a bit under done an onion rings was cooked in this afternoons sun looked anemic. Overall was okay bit pricey for quality

Had a nice meal there last night. Food was 5 Stars. Staff brilliant. Enjoyed our Anniversary meal out. Chef even did me another steak on its own as the taste was really nice. Food did not take long to arrive. And we both had a good meal out. Every thing was better than expected. Will be going back again in the future. Also has a bar for alcohol drinks. Nice coffee. Lovely venue.

Food is always good, a bit pricey for what it is but not bad for a spur of the moment 'Can we have something to eat Mum?'. There didn't seem to be many people working but our server was attentive and polite. Food took a while but not long enough for the kids to start eating the table top off so it was ok 🤣 All in all not a bad visit and we'll definitely visit again.

I came here and sat in the bar area, was served very quickly by the gentleman behind the bar, sat down and food came out within 5 minutes, hot and tasty, I did however encounter a problem with my dessert, however I was greeted with the manager mike who happily replaced my dessert without any fussed and made sure it was to my satisfaction, I have visited a few time and the service has always been excellent 👌 keep up the good work guys 😊

Great visit to Frankie and Benny’s Rotherham today. We were on our way back from a weekend away and saw there was a Frankie & Benny’s on the way home so gave it a try. Pleased to say we had a lovely experience and was served by Sarah, who was a super friendly server who made us feel very welcome. The food was great and I think was good value for money. I can say for sure that the interior style of this restaurant is certainly the best, it’s a great atmosphere and I think the new style looks nowhere near as nice as the “updated restaurants”. If we’re ever in Rotherham again, I would certainly come back. Bring back Frankie & Benny’s Mansfield though, it was so popular and would surely succeed for sure in our large town.

Great food, we shared the BBQ platter and it was more than enough for two! 😊 The Cookie dough and garlic bread were beautiful too!

A group of 17 of us came here for our staff Christmas meal. The staff was very attentive and polite. As always, the food was great, and I will visit again soon. I'm not a massive desert fan, but it would be nice to see Sticky Toffee Pudding on the menu whenever there's a menu revamp.

Fantastic food as always. Had the most amazing server, Ian. Gave a very warm Welcome, very attentive, in a very friendly but professional manner. Really felt like he wanted to make sure we had a good dining experience. On top of that had one of the best calzone’s I have ever had. (All food was of an exceptional quality).

First time eating here. Absolutely great service, amazing food & overall it's such a lovely place to dine. Definitely will visit again soon. X We shared a cheese/garlic bread pizza to start. My hubby had the festive burger for main course, "best burger ever" I had Margherita pizza, absolutely gorgeous cooked to perfection. For pudding the Banana Speculoos Waffle, very nice & to finish off the meal x2 double espresso's. X3 peroni on draught.

Francie & Benny's is fine for a chain restaurant. The food is good and the staff are nice, but there's something lacking for me, but at least you know what you are getting.

Frankie and Benny's is always a win, the food options and the cost is always great for a decent evening meal. Every one of them I have been to has always delivered a good solid meal for the price.

The women who served us called Sarah was very lovely she is what made the experience better if I'm being honest. She was very friendly and helped us with one of our guest allergy requirements :) However in all honesty the food was not that great, representation was really nice but the taste wasn't that great. My friend had the Bolognese and she said it didn't have much flavour and tasted like "cold pasta" and I had a burger and due to my dislikes I had the butter milk burger and lettuce only and the chicken didn't have much flavour to it so if you don't like onions or red french dressing it wasn't very tasteful alone. The milkshake and drinks were really nice and the chips but other than that food wasn't great. Thankyou to the lady called Sarah for being so friendly and making the trip better. :)

Went here with friends. We were four adults and four children between 4 & 7. Great food, great atmosphere. Service was slightly slow and had to ask for the kids desserts, but staff were really positive and good with the kids. Would be hair to go back again.

Okay so it was last 10 minutes before food stopped. Apparently no steak, partner said he worked places before and is it because takes too long to prepare....they replied it is home and finishing time soon. Still ordered no kids so wanted a smooth evening...lasagne was not straight and half out and bologna had no taste. Whilst eating we found out staff one is going on holiday and shouting either end of the place. We went to the car a little annoyed...5minutes choosing what we shall do next, low and behold staff were running out of the building. Very disappointed in the place and also myself in the lack of complaining. But we felt uneasy just us and all the staff shouting. Maybe okay if you go mid time of their shift
