Shakes & Cakes - Thorne in Doncaster

I ordered at 7:30 on uber eats not even a big order i scheduled it to be here for 9:15-9:45 still a joke but was willing to wait. I then got notified my order was only going to be here at 10:30 onwards. I called up politely asking about it i was very rudely answered too i asked if i would have my money back and was phone put down . Luckily ive had a message saying i will from uber eats .

Me and my partner craved a shake and a desert so we went to the best place in town. Loved the Brioche Cheesecake and the Biscoff Shake (very thick and nice). Definitely will be coming back!!!

Ordered at 19.50, rang at 21.20 wondering where it was, the lady on the phone was rude and lied to us saying it had set off. Rang again, at 21.43, to be told it’s just setting off again, clearly another lie, rang again at 22.08 to be told that it’s just set off again? By the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. And then when it did arrive, it was all cold anyways! Don’t recommend what so ever, best of just microwaving your own pudding from the shop, atleast that will come out warm 🤙🏼

We ordered 2 puddings last night at 21.00 and the money was taken out of my bank.We sat waiting for it and received messages saying it was on the way. As time went on I messaged them on live chat and sent an email.It said the message had been received.Still no order soni rang them twice for it to ring and then cut off.By then it was time for closing.and I resigned myself that it wasn't coming and they had just taken the money.It eventually turned up at 22.45.with not as.much as an apology or explanation.By then my husband wasn't hungry and my cream on my cheesecake tasted sout.I am disgusted with how we was treated.that they were so quick to take a payment but give no apology or explanation.I will.not order from here again.and I will tell others not to

As a Father’s Day surprise my daughter bought me a milk shake a lemon cheese cake and a rock hard jam roll poly the jam was more like toffee and the roll poly was so hard I could have used it as a house brick and at 2.15 in the morning was violently sick bring up the milkshake and the roll poly and custard after telling my daughter she complained and was told we are not refunding you but you can have a fondue sharing box NOT HAPPY £16 down the toilet if I could leave no stars I would

Ordered at 19:45 only arrived by 22:00 which by then the food was cold, disappointing to say it was £15

Food is always fresh and the frozen drinks are amazing cannot complain what so ever ordered several times from here and will keep ordered best takeaway dessera

I wanted to say how amazing it was what we ordered! I would 11/10 recommend. We ordered two milkshakes, a kinder brownie and the chocolate orange cake and they were absolutely gorgeous! Never had anything like it and would recommend to anyone who asks. It was so easy to order and fast when being prepared. The staff were lovely when going to pick up and very helpful when I phoned before hand. Will definitely come again!

Took forever for delivery. Forgot milkshake. From what I could hear on the phone they talk to their young staff like sh*t.

I'd heard great things about this place so went to order (about £50 worth) for the family, we only live 12 minutes down the road in Rawcliffe and they said they wouldn't deliver even though on the website it specifically says they deliver to Rawcliffe. We wasn't even able to pick the order up. Very disappointed to say the least.

Everytime I order from here the desserts and milkshakes are amazing! They give huge portions and never disappoint. Very friendly, quick, lovely customer service! I highly recommend the cheesecake; was delicious!! Thank you 😊

We ordered a bake a way cookie dough it was absolutely lovely! I would highly recommend!and great for the kids to join in with too which is fab 😀 the fizzees are also to die for! Everything is so tasty 😋 thank you Shakes and Cakes 😄

Ordered at 8pm and waited 2hrs plus. I rang after 90 mins was told they me another 30 mins. Rang again after the extra 30 mins and was told my order would be another 40 mins all in all delivery was pretty s@#t. Order turned up the wifes waffle wasnt what she ordered paid for extra chocolate and icecream and stuff wasnt in the delivery. Ice cream sunday wasnt bad thou. All in all from this place changing ownership it has just got pretty pants

Ordered 2 cookie dough and 2 milk shakes at half 8, they had still not arrived by 10 so I called up and asked where my order was. They said it would be there in 15 minutes. It got to 11 and I called up again as it still had not arrived. They said it was just about to leave the shop but by that point we were just tired and wanted to go to bed so I asked to cancel and they said they would do it as the first order the next evening but I said no as we had wanted it that night not the next! Asked for a refund instead. Wouldn't know if the food was good but surely cant be worth a 2+ hour wait.

Lovely shakes and deserts best we have had in a long time ordered online told us what time it would be here got a txt message when it arrived at the door brilliant!!! will be ordering again !!!!

I entered a competition on Facebook to win a brownie box which consisted of 4 large pieces of brownies - bueno, Oreo, biscuit and ferreo rochet and I must admit they were absolutely delicious I also ordered a movie box for 2 for me and my husband which consisted of 2 x large chocolate fudge cakes a large skittles shake a large dairy milk shake 2x chocolate bars and a sweetie cone and these went very quickly they were really delicious and both the husband I enjoyed every bit of it all would definitely recommend these to all my friend and family
