TGI Fridays - Doncaster in Doncaster

The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed the time there. Service was a little slow but we came with a party of 5. Not many people at 8 pm.

Food is great, although getting a little pricey , definitely a place for a treat.

Food was overpriced chicken appeared cooked but cold at centre was a little ill the next day

Menus were down this due to deliver issues. Service was good as was the food.

Considering how empty the restaurant was the service wasn't great. We got regular drinks instead of diet but were told we didn't specify, but we did on 2 occasions. I asked some questions in relation to dietary restrictions and the information I got back was a bit confusing. The chicken strips were nice (as always), but everything else was underwhelming considering the price. We won't be coming back to this restaurant.

Hands down the worst experience of TGIs I’ve ever had. Arrived at about 7pm to a half empty restaurant. We were told that there was going to be a 20 to 25 minute wait so we sat at the bar by the door waiting for our table. When they eventually came to take us to our table 20 minutes later we were taken to a table for two (one in a row of 5 available yet directly next to another couple in a half empty place when nobody had left in the last 20 minutes so what was the delay with getting us seated). We ordered the boneless hot wings and JD sesame chicken strips. The boneless wings came without the blue cheese sauce and when asked if we could have some was told they didn’t have any earlier but she would check (we watched and she didn’t check) instead she returned a few minutes later telling us they didn’t have any but why wasn’t we told that when we ordered we wouldn’t have ordered it without the sauce we were then asked if we wanted to replace the sauce so we asked for some JD sauce which was added onto the bill at the end of the night… why ? The JD chicken strips come without any salad and on a tiny side plate definitely not a full portion and dry like they had been sat under a heat lamp for the past hour I asked for the ultimate American grill but they had no beef short rib, when I asked if it would be substituted with something else I was told no, I asked if it would still cost the same I was told yes 🤯🤯. So I went for the full rack of ultimate ribs with JD and cheese and bacon fries (well half a portion of them) when they came on a tiny side plate again along with half a corn on the cob sliced into strips which I can only assume was to stop me from realising that there was only half a cob on my plate instead of a full one. We also had a main of sesame chicken strips which turned up dry All of this whilst being served by the most unhelpful miserable waitress We came because we heard that TGIs were closing down and wanted one before this happened but left completely understanding why they may be going out of business Absolutely shocking Our bill came to over £90 which I paid but can think of many places which would cost half that and would come with much better service

You can tell TGIF has gone into administration and the staff here have obviously given up. Food was pretty poor, of the five or so staff running about to the other 2 tables in this evening they obviously couldn't communicate with each other. Wrong items on bill. Double orders brought to table. At one point the wrong tables food was delivered. Started on then removed and handed to the original customer. Bill was wrong and when challenged tried using language barrier as excuse to not give refund. Would whole heartedly not recommend this place for any occasion as there are far better places 5 yards away.

I have just visited with my wife... The restaurant was clean and tidy and the food was very good, I've knocked 2 stars off for the cost £25+ for a cheese burger is absolutely mental. There was barely anything under £20. Even their Wednesday promotion was £15. Promotion?! Service was brilliant, served by a young lady called Alisha, she was warm bouyant and attentive. If that lady wasn't working there I think they might be in a mess.

Our waitress alesha was so pleasant and jolly and made our experience ten times better, also very polite:)

Calamari was ok but otherwise food was truly disgusting. Ribs were inedible. Choice of restaurant for Monday lunch in Doncaster is seriously limited, but, wish I’d gone to Wagamama! Very expensive mistake.

typical American like food ,,,great service and kept checking to see everything was OK..food was good well cooked and presented thought it was a bit pricey for we had tho ..Will go back again sometime x

TGI Doncaster Lakeside Food was sat under headlamps for 20-35 mins with no one taking it out to customers Burger super greasy and apart from the pickles had very little flavour grease was dripping of the burger and onto the plate enough to make a puddle, the top bun had a little crunch but the base bun was soggy, chips had Zero flavour or seasoning on them Mac and cheese Do not buy this product, it was so bad, it was bland, and honestly I have had better from a Asda microwave meal than what I was served Nachos Cheese was under everything and stuck to the plate, guacamole overpowered all of the other flavours on them, top of the nachos the chips were crunchy at the bottom it was a soggy mess

I think im being generous with 3 stars here but whatever. I haven’t eaten here in a couple years now and we were here for a University celebration with my partner and mother. It was quiet already as it was a Wednesday evening so I didn’t expect it to be busy anyways. We sat down and immediately no cutlery on the table? Asked for cutlery 5min later and didn’t get any until 35min later which was when they gave us our food. Waitresses looked half arsed and as if they couldn’t be bothered to be there. I’ve worked in hospitality for over a year and you can at least act happy to be there because how you feel reflects on the customer. This is what really annoyed me. One of us had an offer for a free dessert, another for £15 unlimited wings, and I had a 20% student discount. Then we were told that we could only use one. I was having a bad day and this really just tipped me over like what do you mean i can’t use my offers and a discount? Ridiculous. Clearly want to get their money’s worth don’t they. It may be in their terms and conditions but i want to know the reasoning behind it. If it’s not in their conditions well then im disappointed. Ordered a boba mocktail (the second picture, item to the left) and i know bars like their ice in their drinks but i drank this in 3 sips. £5.50 for a bit of juice around 4 smushed boba balls and a small glass of ice which looked nothing like the picture. Thanks! Our food finally came and it was amazing I will admit. Heavily overpriced at £80 for three people. For reference I dined at the Ivy Brasserie in London for £18 per person… Was literally cheaper to get the train and go there for your dinner. Won’t be coming back anytime soon until they decide to get their act together but to people who go here i hope you have a better experience than me. Obviously it’s everyone’s opinion specific to themselves but this was mine so.

Great service, good value on the £7 lunch menu. Our server Marcus was great, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

As a delivery driver, this place deserve -10 stars. You wait 30-40minutes every single order, when you ask about it, they never apologise. -10 stars. Worst restaurant around Dome based on delivery's. Shameless and disgusting

Great service from Dave, he was great with the kids and really informative about offers and the best way to make the most of the TGI’s app. Our food was really lovely!

Terrible service, wrong drinks given, sharer appetiser for 4 people was tiny! We asked for child’s main meal to come with appetisers and they didn’t. Also ordered nacho’s, looked put together by a child. Ended up cancelling all mains and leaving. £64 for 6 drinks, and appetisers, wasn’t worth the money at all. More than generously I offered £60 and this was accepted. Won’t be returning. Terrible service, terrible food! If I could give it negative stars I would! It wasn’t about the money, if the food and service was good I would pay whatever, but it was awful! Went over to McDonald’s instead. At least you know what you’re getting!

Staff shouldn’t work in customer service. Absolutely miserable the lot of them. We arrived and stood at the door for a good 5 minutes if not longer. No servers would come to the door yet there were bar staff stood behind the bar doing nothing and wouldn’t give eye contact. No welcome when the host did eventually get to us. We were seated and the waitress on that section made a comment to the host about so many people being sat in her section in succession. In the end we had a male waiter who clearly had just come on shift. No follow up during the meal so good job the food was ok. Not the best meal we’ve had in TGI’s. We usually use Leeds or Castleford. Definitely wouldn’t return. No goodbye or thanks when we left either. £70 for a meal we didn’t enjoy.

Had a great host Carla, who was attentive and friendly. We felt welcome and had a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend

The food was ok but over priced. Also, the ladies toilets were out of order so the disabled toilet had to be used. There was no toilet paper or soap - not the most hygienic. We won't be rushing back.

The meal was hot on delivery, but was spoilt by all of the sauce on the rack of ribs running out of the container into the bag(I took photos) leaving the ribs almost dry of its sauce

Took an hour to get our drinks, there was 12 people of this were children who didn't understand why we had to wait so long, then eventually when food was brought we were given someone else's order. There was a large pointed bone in the pulled pork which a 14 month baby was eating. Was so expensive for nothing

I went for lunch yesterday and it was my first time out without the kids in forever. It was also my first ever time at a TGIF. I shall explain why I've given it the rating I have. Firstly let me start by saying I've been a waitress before, my husband is also a chef. So we know the environment and how hard it can be. Firstly myself and a friend walked in and we were stood there for quite a while before we were greeted. There were only a few tables at this point. We were eventually greeted and shown to our table. A blonde member of staff was walking around with a lad, obviously a trainee however the only member of staff actually working and earning their money was Alisha. She was running from the door to greet, the tables to take orders, to the bar and even the kitchen!!! Food was being left under the pass/hot light for around 15 minutes until Alisha took it to the tables. Despite the blonde lady and the lad standing right next to the food they actually only delivered food to two tables during our visit. Alisha was quite literally doing everything. She even apologised that our fries were late, she said she forgot to drop the fries, absolutely no problem my darling because you were the only one working yesterday in my opinion. The girl needs a raise. I get that the blonde lady was training .. however the food shouldn't be sat there that long, break training and take food to the tables. If you know you're training a new staff member that day get more staff in to cover the trainer. We weren't the only customers noticing this. Poor Alisha was run ragged and was still serving with a smile. I did make a comment about her seemingly working on her own. I know that she felt exhausted and agreed with me in this one. It's bad management and I will be writing to head office aswell because Alisha needs some kind of recognition. If the store has CCTV managers need to watch it back and see just how much she did yesterday. She's not being paid enough. She's doing 5 roles in her shift and not being appreciated enough. Alisha you are the only reason I would come back and try the food again. The fact you were so run down and still serving as perfect as you were and making sure customers were ok is amazing. You should of had support that matched your work ethics and the manager has failed you. If you are the manager - fire and replace some staff because everyone else slacked! If the blonde lady training was the manager - shame on you! Food was lovely though. Bekki x

Me and my wife went for an evening meal. The food was excellent, very tasty and highly recommend the mixed grill. Unfortunately the service wasn't so good. Staff were friendly enough but service was very slow drinks took ages to arrive. The only time anybody came to the table was to bring starters and mains. Starters were not even cleared before mains arrived. Would have been 5 stars if service was up to the same standard as the food.

Food was fine, but hideously overpriced. Service was practically non existent despite the place being empty, sat for 20 minutes before I had to go and ask to be acknowledged.

Been today a group of friends ........ ordered 2 platter ... been charged a steak ... no one has said they don't have the platter ....worst than that .... we've been given no forks ... Just a knife ... Yp on asking the staff ... why we got other order ... they just excuse they don't have it .... Appalling service , wouldn't definitely not coming back and definitely not recommended to anyone . Paid over 100.... for 2 small steaks and a portion of chips ... and pints

I never wrote such a bad review in my life, what an experience! Wow! Honestly now I can understand why it is always empty, if you go there first time you won't be going again. Poor service, did not even bring cuttlery to the table, or napkins, fries looked like we got them of somebody else s plate, what a joke of a restaurant, not to mention terrible excuses from the server as ,,I did not bring the fries with your meal as I was being busy speaking to you" at least we has a good laugh! I had to out a star I did not want to :)))

We regularly eat at tgi Fridays in Doncaster but have left this review as had the best service tonight from David and leonie - sorry if misspelt . They were attentive and even bought refill drinks eg. Without us asking , explained the new menu and stripes promotion to us v well , keep up the great work Thankyou x

Absolute shambles waited to be seated only for someone else to be seated before us. Food dropped on floor server wasn't hurt but still not great. Asked the server for no other items with food never listened. Have allergies she thought it was funny. Asked for nothing else on the plate arrived with other items clearly never listened. Not enough servers and it was empty after our experience I can see why. Won't go there again. Very very disappointed and for what it cost never again. Family won't be going again either.

The service was excellent. but the food wasn't up to parr for the high price our garlic bread was hard and the chicken on the burger was dry !!

TGI Fridays has declined significantly from its former quality. It's expensive for what you get. I had the messy cheeseburger, and my wife had chicken fajitas. The kids' meals were free, which was good. However, the fajitas came with only a few strands of grated cheese, barely enough for one tortilla let alone four. The burger was fine. Our main gripe was the quality of service. Our finished plates were left on our table long after we’d finished our mains. We waited for someone to take our dessert order for a good 20 minutes, and the plates remained there for the duration and while we ate our desserts and even after we finished them. This was particularly bothersome because it was a hot day, and there were several flies swarming around the dirty plates. I think it’s poor management letting basic standards slip like this and not keeping your staff in check. In another display of slackness, I needed to use the baby changing table, and it was grim, with what looked like years-old scum stuck between the cracks. I've added a picture of the our dining table just before we left, showing the uncleared plates alongside the dessert plates.

The food was awful, £28 for steak that is dry and covered in powder, presentation (looked as though it was thrown on the plate) dreadful

Disgraceful I am appalled by the ignorance of staff, pregnant and heat in excess of 30⁰ in that restaurant. didn't even take our drinks order I sat uncomfortably waiting for staff after my partner had approached staff to get our table service. You should not have to chase staff round to serve you. If it was busy I'd of understood, but there were 4 tables of customers all on deserts, tables still dirty from previous customers, no excuses, I am disabled and don't get out a lot so this for me was huge! Stood up and walked out! Worst TGI I ever had got there at 18:50 left by 19:30 as I had no drink and wasn't looking likely the staff were going to pull their finger out! So glad I didn't spend one penny there!

No sauce pots, so they simply didn’t give me £6 worth of sauces AND then, didn’t put any sauce that comes with the food!!!!

I’ve been coming here for years, always was our goto place. Fridays Glazed burger used to be £12 odd, now it’s £20.50?! Along with the other extortionate prices. We had a the wall-wall chicken sharer between 3 of us (recommended for 4 people), well all I can say it’s a good job we’d had a late lunch, because I’d love to see what 4 people that would leave satisfied 😂. Really gone down hill, save your money, take it to McDonald’s instead, better service and better food !

Order was 20 minutes later than it originally started it would be & when the order turned up it was missing an entire dish!!! Reported to just eat straight away still waiting to hear from them !!

Got a call from the driver to say he was at the door but he wasn’t as he had gone to the wrong address so when he finally turned up the food was cold We had family up visiting before I was due to go into hospital for surgery so how embarrassing that we had to reheat everything This is the third time in a row where we have had trouble with deliveries from this site with late deliveries and even on one occasion our delivery never arrived. I feel this really needs addressing

Great service from Dani, attentive, fun had a joke with my boys. Food was decent, full of flavour, does what it says ......had a nice family meal in great atmosphere. 👍

I found a hair in my food (definitely not mine or my husbands), they were short staffed and the restaurant wasn't the tidiest. The staff however were very cheerful and more than happy to help.

Looking forth beyond my hazing of hunger did I behold a mighty saviour; a server of such pristine care and exuperance that I at once fell under her magic dietry spells! Her name, as written in legand, was Es, and I am forever in her debt for the service and food she brought forth from the magical kingdom of the kitchens goblins! Me and my family would have scarcly survived Fathers Day at it not been for her heroic services! My dearest Es, i bid you my eternal redeem and loyalty... ...fries were a litttle burnt though, 9/10 *

Came in for fathers day, lovely staff, our server Es was lovely and very attentive. The food was nice altnought the kids garlic bread was a bit overdone. But still lovely food and atmosphere

I will never eat at a TGIs again after bringing the kids here for a treat one evening. The service was terrible. There was hardly anything available on the menu, they wasn't willing to substitute anything. There was no salad no vegetables, no got dogs (wgixh is what we came for). The staff basically just shrugged it off. The price was well over priced for what we had and the staff wasn't willing to give us the kids eat for 1£ as I couldn't log into my app. The experience was terrible and the kids oftern talk about the time we went to the rubbish restaurant. Never again. !!!

This was a superb bar for drinking, with a bright and modern American style! The decorations like the US traffic lights help make the setting, counter is smartly presented and menus are readily available. We were lucky enough to get 2 for 1 cocktails topped with cream, relishing the leather seating at a smooth window-side table; took a while but that is fine with the amount in this cocktail!

Food was ok for a TGI. Let down on service. Took a long time for order to be taken, when food came an entire starter and main were missing from the order (was written on a pad then not put in computer), everyone else had finished their meal by time it came.

Went for a late lunch with my daughter and son in law and their three children. Seemed to only have a couple of members of staff in the whole place. One cooking and one serving. It wasn't crazy busy but there were quite a few people in. Despite the lack of staff the service and food were both excellent. The waiter was Dave and I hope he got paid accordingly for doing the jobs of at least four people. He was attentive and cheerful and deserves high praise. TGI Fridays pay attention to this young man and his colleague, they are a credit to themselves.

The staff was all rude we waited at the entrance and staff walked past a few times and didn’t acknowledge us untill we got seated 10 mins later , we then ordered and continued to wait 45 mins for our food witch came out cold and looked like it had been sat out for ages , the staff did not acknowledge us once until we asked for the bill , they was all just stood chatting the whole time very unpleasant and unprofessional, massive waste of money for awfull experience will not be coming to this location again

The food was really bland. We had 2 cocktails and they were dreadful. The bloke who worked there kept calling me darling, which was weird. I definately wont be eating here again. The sheffield branch is much better. and the only thing I did eat were the ribs which were tiny. I left here hungry.

Came into the restaurant yesterday (4 adults and 4 children, 2 of which were 1/2 year olds hungry!!!) took drinks order fairly quickly however my partner was waiting 40 minutes for a glass of coke after already being told he was chasing it up 15 mins before. The food, don’t even get me started! We watched our food be left under a hot plate for 40 minutes while a waitress was picking our food up with her bare unwashed hands and moving it around our plates.. she then proceeded to wipe her forehead and say how sweaty she was🤮won’t be returning and we left after 50 minutes waiting for food that still didn’t come.. paid for drinks (they only charged for 1 set of cocktails instead of two which was kind however the drinks bill came to £35 for a capri sun, 2 small lime and sodas and a cocktail!). We then left and refused to pay for the food we didn’t get to eat. Had to take our kids elsewhere quickly as it was around 7pm at this point!! 2 very hungry young children and then had an hour drive home. Disappointing. Also shocked to see the same generated review feedback from the restaurant and not actually acknowledging the shocking service.

Service was slow. Clearly understaffed. £26 for the smallest full rack of ribs I've ever had. Was nice but not enough to justify the price. Won't be back in a hurry

Tried to convince me baby back ribs are ultimate ribs and charged me as such. We have done TGI'S a lot and aparently these have always been the same according to the chef when i know this isnt true. I'd skip it tbf, go miller and carter, same ribs better price and size.

Absolute rip off, only ate there due to estabulo fully booked, over priced for poor quality food. Screwed us over with cocktails, 2 for the price of 1, checked receipt and end, £16 1 cocktail, really your just paying £8 each for a cocktail. Bill for 4 of us, 1 starter each, 1 main each and the cocktails £225.

Went with friends and price was extortionate and certainly did NOT reflect the food .

Awful service, food not available , no clean side plates , staff abrupt and untrained . Place looks dated. Overpriced for quality.

Useless ordering from here as they leave you waiting an hour and half to two hours after ordering only to cancel the order because its half an hour because its half an hour before closing. A little courtesy in future and don't accept orders or cancel them with a bit more notice if your not competent in completing the order.

Good arrived a lot later than estimated which, in itself would have been such as issue, but it was all cold. Not even warm.

Visited Tgi Friday today, for our daughters birthday.We were looked after by a staff member called Millie. She was pleasant, kind to my daughter and just a totally lovely person,that made our visit a lovely experience.

My order didn’t arrive at all but there is no option for that. I could track it on the app and then it changed to delivered without me having received it.

Popped In for a quick bite completely unplanned Millie was our server and did a cracking job Food was hot and served in really good time The restaurant was clean and tidy Millie looked to be on Her own but was killing it

We came for my friends birthday and it was a lovely place, Jack was our waiter and was very friendly and welcoming. Food was brilliant.

The food was great, I didn’t give full stars service as unfortunately they were understaffed and you could see them struggling(management should sort this ). Only 2 people on the floor. Grace served us and she was just amazing, she was really doing the best she could under the circumstances, she is very professional and great addition to the team .

Great chain restaurant, service was a little slow our as food arrived before our drinks. However I think that is just down to them possibly being short staffed- or at least it looked like it when my partner and I visited. Regardless, the service was still friendly and welcoming 😊 will return if I’m back in Doncaster.

We were there for a birthday. The food took a very long time to come out despite the venue not being very busy at all. Chips were left off of one of the children's meals and one starter came out during the main meal. My starter came out after I had finished my main meal. A drink order took 15 minutes to come as well. The staff were polite however the service was really poor. For the expensive nature of the place it should really be better than this.

Great food and quick delivery . Shame some of the sauce had leaked but didn't spoil overall enjoyment 👍

Grace was our waiter today and she made the experience brilliant from start to finish, went above and beyond and gave excellent customer service.

Really disappointed with the prices. Not somewhere i will be eating again in the future. Far too expensive for what you get. Cocktails at £16 each are a joke too. Even if its buy one get one free. You're not getting one free, you are essentially paying £8 each which is average. I'd never pay £16 for 1 cocktail!!

I ordered a takeaway through Just Eat, and about 10 minutes before it was due to be delivered, it got cancelled. A couple of minutes later, got a phone call from the restaurant. Apparently delivery driver had come in kicking off and demanding the order, when it wasn't ready, he stormed off and cancelled it. I thought it was really kind for the lady to phone and showed top class service. I nipped down myself and paid for and picked up the order. I didn't get ladies name I'm afraid, but did TGI proud. Thanks to all at TGI for thinking about their customer 🙂

First time at this branch and had a great experience thanks to Grace. Very attentive and helpful, would definitely recommend and come again.

Food 3 out of 5 Service 5 out of 5 Experience 4 out of 5 I arranged a meal for 11 of our team to go to the Doncaster TGIs last night. Many of the team had premium steaks and other higher priced meals and the general consensus was to food was surprisingly average given the price. That said the service provided by our bubbly and very lovely host Millie made an average meal into a pleasant experience. Nothing was too much trouble.

Only been twice, once last year was a disaster and said I'd never go back. But a family birthday get together meant I went again Saturday evening. It was worse....we were seated straight away then waited 20mins for someone to come and take our drinks order after I had asked, they came 20mins later so sat with no drink or food order for 40mins, had to ask again to order food, £20 odd for a burger and tbh I'd have preferred a kfc burger, it was nice enough but nowhere near worth the money. Had to ask again for another round of drinks, the girl fetched them and left 8 empty glasses on the table which left no room for anything else. The guy who was serving us was run off his feet, taking food and drink orders, having to make the drinks himself and fetch them. Actually felt sorry for him, we asked for the bill which was £203, for 4 people, we had a burger and loaded fries x3, chicken strips and normal fries, x2 onion rings and 3 cocktails each. Nowhere in Doncaster would it cost that much money for so little. If the service has been great then it wouldn't have been SO bad, but it's put me off for life. We have said we definitely won't be going back.

We had a.great time. Service was a little slow but staff were all lovely. Food was good and tasty bit portion not massive. Steak a little bit thin. Overall an good experience we will go again. Ultimate birthday sundae was worth it. Absolutely huge

We arrived on time for our table, we were shown to our table and had to wait 40 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, spoke to a few staff who told us they would get someone but didn’t help. Cocktails are very poor and weak. 2-4-1 but costs £16 for 1 !!! What a joke. Where in this world does it cost £16 for a cocktail?? Not in Doncaster. Food took far too long to arrive and was very poor for the price. Cheese and bacon fries were just pure slop. The bill came to £202 for 4 of us with no starter or desert. But we did have poor cocktails The staff seemed very stressed and overworked and failed to clear empty glasses from table when bringing fresh drinks. This seems to be a norm for this restaurant as we have been before and didn’t enjoy but family get together forced us to try again. If I ever get invited again family or not I will fake an illness than come here again. AVOID

It was an omen from offset; walked into restaurant and after waiting 10 minutes at welcome stand, had to shout attention of staff members. Weren’t busy - only 1 table of 2 in. Ordered food and asked for a substitution (onion rings instead of sweetcorn - hasn’t been a problem before) and the excuses started. They would asked but it is lead chef in today. As expected food arrived without request actioned. When you’re paying over £100 for 3 two course meals, you expect it to be right and enjoyable. Won’t be revisiting on the back of this visit.

The service here is absolutely shocking! My wife and I was waiting nearly 15 minutes for our food and drinks to be taken, even though the restaurant was half empty. The food eventually came after waiting nearly 20 minutes, and it was tasteless! The waitress was no where to been seen most of the time. I ordered an endless refillable drink and only had the one drink.

Very disappointing. Visited on a Sunday afternoon with 2 adults and 3 children. Although the staff were friendly, the service was unbelievably slow and the food very underwhelming considering you are paying approx. £18 for a burger and fries. Ordered the children’s ice-cream sundae and after 30 mins had to ask if it would be much longer... they then bought out 3 almost completely melted ice cream and chocolate buttons that were now a pile of white chocolate goo, they had obviously been sat there a while. Although they did go back and remake the ice cream, trying to explain to 3 children under 5 why it had come out only to be taken away again was not fun.

Really disappointing. Order missing several items and no explanation. Food cold on delivery and driver lost service so time kept going up.

Morgan served us and was brilliant. She was the only person working front of house. Morgan was friendly, welcoming but not obtrusive. The food was beautiful - they need to show the Meadowhall restaurant how it should be done. 5*

We went as a family to TGI’s for a good meal before going on elsewhere. Staff were polite and asked the usual questions. The menu however was a shocker! £19 for 6 chicken strips and bland fries. My wife ordered potato skins, 20 minutes later was told they had run and to pick an alternative. I had the Cajun chicken pasta, I found it greasy and bland, not what I would expect of a Cajun dish. My daughter ordered a side salad which was basically red cabbage and onion. But to top it off we ordered the fruit salad sorbet for dessert. Over 25 minutes later and 5 minutes after my daughter’s desserts arrived, the waitress told us that she had ran out of most fruit and served us a less than fresh apple and banana fruit salad with sorbet. Overall this was average food at excessive pricing. Not a place I will revisit.

When I enquired about the terms of "kids eat free" the lady at reception replied, you just use the app I think. Anyway after that the staff were very polite and helpful. The floors were a bit dirty in places where previous guests had dropped food and it hadn't been cleaned up. The atmosphere was great, very Americanised. The music was good, a little loud for anyone who wants to hold a conversation. The food came quickly and was delicious. Though the food was a bit pricey, the kids eat free aspect definitely helped with us able to get two of our four kids meals for free. Overall a good meal and a good experience.

Staff great, atmosphere good, decor cool, shame about the food. If you like deep fried everything you will enjoy. £5.00 for a tiny side salad!
