Came here last week and WOW is all I can say. One of the best châteaubriands I’ve had in a long time. Sam was a delight of a waiter, he told us it was first month and what an excellent job he did. We’ll be sure to come back and hopefully have Sam again!

Vale, he dado la vuelta a la manzana un par de veces. Conozco el buen servicio, y conozco el servicio triste. Y he tratado de ir a este lugar un par de veces a lo largo de los años. Y mi experiencia ha sido la misma siempre. Así que nunca más me molestaré en visitar el lugar. Hoy solo había 3 personas en el lugar. Un barman que estaba en su móvil, que ni siquiera se molestó en levantar la vista saluda. Y dos clientes... uno un idiota y el otro un bofetón, ambos fuera de sus rostros. Los dos últimos me dejaron un poco fuera pero oi fue el barman que más me dejó fuera. Total indiferencia. Así que después de unos minutos esperando en el bar vacío, mirándolo por el teléfono, en un lugar casi vacío, me fui. Nunca volveré.

It's of huge significance to me, revisiting the last place myself and my late wife visited for our 20th wedding anniversary. To celebrate my twin boys 18th Birthday, and enjoy their first legal beer was truly fitting and a great occasion. The pork belly was absolutely superb, the beef ragu and the surf and turf equally as excellent. The doughnuts which two teenage men devoured with ease was the perfect meal to create a new, lasting memory. Service excellent, and the price was on par for the meal. First ale for the lads on the house too was an added bonus. Many thanks!

Food just as good as ever, very poor service lately. Also, asking for a tip in advance when ordering on apps really pisses me off.

Such a welcoming atmosphere and really accommodating staff. We were served by Banky who greeted us with a smile and was extremely nice, giving us the time we needed to order. Even when our refillable drinks got low, he took them himself to refill. The 10oz steak was cooked perfectly, you could tell steak is this companies strong suit. Would highly recommend and will be coming back again.

Food came 45 minutes after placing order. Charged me 1 £ for pickles??? When i ordered a burger lunch deal!!! Food came cold. Not to repeat.

I love Miller and carter usally, and I haven’t been in a couple of years. I was really looking forward to it … my £40 steak was stone cold, along with my chips and sauce. The steak was mostly inedible. I did get it taken off the bill, however I was very disappointed. The young lady that served us was absolutely lovely about the whole situation, and couldn’t have been nicer.

Such a cool place with good food and really good prices! We went on a Saturday night but were quite sad that the place was empty! We came in just before 8pm and there were hardly any people in and shortly after we were the only ones. I think more people should know about this place! The decor is super quirky, staff were very friendly and food was actually nice. Definitely recommend their blue cheese chicken burger. Also, the cocktails are really good! And they’re 2 for £12 😍

Brilliant place and everyone so friendly, unlike some cornish village pubs, as soon as you walk through the door it goes quiet and you’re stared at…..so do you want extra custom or not?? Anyway the Rock Inn is lovely and has a good variety of food and drinks on offer, plenty of places to sit inside and out. Sunday carvery absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work guys!!

We came in for a birthday meal on a saturday evening, we came around 7pm only a party of 6 and I must say I was most disappointed. We arrived and were seated by the toilets where groups of drunken people were stumbling in shouting past our table, to which we had a young teenager which was unacceptable. I appreciate the location on a Saturday evening this could be inevitable but this should be stopped and used for customers only! Our food arrived which was missing multiple items, which arrived considerably later into eating our meal and the chips were so salty we were unable to eat them. We also ordered a fillet steak which paying for a top quality meat Id expect to be perfect although this was covered in fat which I was unable to eat. In defense of our waitress, she was lovely, attentive and resolved our issues as soon as possible. It was obvious it was extremely short staffed as it was just her running the whole place! None of these issues where of any fault of hers but I was disappointed. We were offered some money off our bill which was greatly appreciated however, this was disappointing for an occasion meal.

Waste ot money. When we arrived, nobody was greeting us, and non of the workers were in the restaurant area. After waiting 3-4 minutes, standing by the door, finally a bored face girl came and gave us a table. A sticky table with some breadceumbs on it, probably noone cleaned the tables previous day. We ordered drinks with no ice, after a good 10 minutes waiting it all came with ice. Restaurant was empty, we were the only customers. We ordered 3 burgers, chefs were chatting and laughing in the kitchen and non of them started a food until they have not finished ‘having fun’ in the kitchen. Food has finally arrived, half raw meat - not cooked properly-for my kids, burned burger buns and half cooked chips. Nobody came at all to ask ‘how is your food’ or asking is everythimg okay, some young girls were just chatting at the bar and looking their phone. Definitely this place gone downhill. We won’t return.
