Eat The Bird – A Fantastic Feast Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing a culinary adventure at Eat The Bird, and it was nothing short of delightful! Beefy Boy A robust burger featuring dry-aged beef, Swiss cheese, wood-smoked bacon, ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, and crispy onions. Packed with flavor, this burger truly impresses. While not quite surpassing Five Guys, it’s undoubtedly the second-best burger I’ve had from fast-food establishments. Next time, I’m excited to explore the bird burgers! Poutine Fresh-cut fries paired with Westcombe cheese curds and gravy—a first-time experience for me that I thoroughly enjoyed. The gravy’s flavor was outstanding, and sampling cheese curds was a pleasant surprise. Dirrrty Mac This indulgent dish combines mac and cheese, fried chicken, barbecue sauce, mini cheddars, and crispy onions. The added chicken takes this dish to another level, and the mini cheddars are a fantastic touch. A touch more barbecue sauce would have been perfect, though that’s just my inner foodie speaking! Christmas Cluck This fried chicken masterpiece features a camembert bomb, wood-smoked bacon, cranberry jam, rocket, garlic mayo, and a Hobbs bun, complemented by fresh-cut fries. Each bite was a testament to flavor perfection one of the finest chicken burgers I’ve ever tasted. Mac + Cheese The classic mac and cheese served with mini cheddars—a simpler option for those who prefer a straightforward dish. A little light-hearted banter aside, this dish remains a satisfying choice! Kyiv Fries Fresh-cut fries loaded with fried chicken, confit garlic butter, garlic mayo, and parmesan. Rich in flavor, these fries strike the perfect balance of crispiness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. To round off the meal, I opted for a strawberry milkshake, while a Biscoff milkshake delighted my dining companion, @dishy_licious. Overall, the food was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and generously portioned. The staff was also wonderfully friendly and helpful, enhancing the dining experience. Visited with my brother on a rainy Saturday. We enjoyed the cathedral views as we ate. The servers were very helpful - they took the time to check the ingredients for their milkshakes to see if they were suitable for me. I was really glad to see they were made from ‘natural’ pure as opposed to syrups as the syrups normally aggravate my ibs badly. So I got a real treat! We also ordered two fry ups - my only critique is there was a huge amount of beans which filled us up too much that we struggled to manage the toast. I think half the beans would have been perfect portion wise. It was all freshly made and delicious. I can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely breakfast. We visited around midday on Tuesday and it was very quiet. We were given the option £9.95 unlimited food (still including access to water) or £13.95 for unlimited food and drinks. Everything was explained thoroughly, great food and waffles made on request were also brilliant. Amelia served us, while also dealing with a complaint which looked quite heated. Nothing was too much trouble, she was great. My partner and I were very impressed with her professionalism during this frustrating encounter with these awkward diners. She handled this situation very well and while doing so, still managed to seat 12 more people. We will definitely be back :)

First time in my life I ordered from 5 guys and definitely will be last time, fries was so cold and look like they bring it back from rubbish bin and put it in my order, the second joke was the grilled mushrooms it was canned the burger without test i asked for chili and barbecue sauce nothing was inside my burger my kids love burger they said that burger was awful we put it in the rubbish bin.

It's worth going, the food is good and they bring it out quickly.

Waiting over hours for dinner, fair enough it was busy but the issue is they don’t have enough staff on. Stop cost cutting and get more staff this is unacceptable, I’ve eaten here the last 5 night as it’s convenient after work. It’s always the same short staffed

We were visiting Exeter for a few day to celebrate my 60th birthday, yesterday For some reason the restaurant we had booked was closed , the seconded, Harry’s was fully booked. So remember my shares. Free drink and being really hungered by then we went into your Exeter branch. Bar guy was great while I found new site for details. Ordered burger fries and onion rings for hubby I just asked for chips, cheese and bacon. The bar was almost empty. When the food came. No fries for my husband My fries were stone cold I sent them back. To which the waitress tutted at me . My husband had almost finished his burger but stopped eating so we would be eating at the same time . Fries arrive. Absolutely swimming in cheese all stuck together. And 3. Yes just 3 small cut up pieces of bacon. It was not even a 1/4 of a rasher. I eat some as I was so hungery but left most of it.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, lots of space, wheelchair and pram friendly (apart from the front doors to get in) Food is tasty and cheap. Beer garden is nicely done up. Parking is a nightmare unless you want to pay £4.30 for a minimum or 2hours.

They forgot my order until I told them and they got the wrong drink, also pretty sure I saw a rat crawling on the kitchen floor
