The best restaurants serving American food in Bath and North East Somerset South West

Recently visited for the second time and their food is incredible. We're not local, and the first time we visited we didn't previously know anything about LJ Hugs. Whilst they were preparing our food, we chatted with the guys and they told us their story, and about being nominated for (and winning!) various awards. The whole atmosphere felt so chilled and friendly, we just knew we had to go back. When I recently re-visited, I was met with the same friendly service as we'd received a year ago. It's now our go-to place to eat in Bath, and can't wait to return in the future.

Visited here while staying in bath for a few days. Great little place, excellent range of burgers. I had the chicken danny dorito, well cooked and very tasty, we loved the range of topped fries. Range of drinks was good. Worth booking a table as its a small place but definitely worth visiting. We did fancy desserts but unfortunately they no longer offer them. Great place and service, Highly recommended

This was a return visit with a group of friends. The meal was excellent and it was served swiftly and efficiently in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you..

I ordered the ‘What’s fudge got to do with it’ cake and it was phenomenal. The service was nothing short of amazing. Shout out to Harshabael, Harshdeep and Affan who made my trip to Heavenly a really enjoyable one. Will definitely be a regular!

Great choice, good quality and super friendly staff.

You would find a more welcoming atmosphere at an abandoned McDonald’s. I paid £15 for a substandard burger and fries. They even had the audacity to charge an extra £1.50 for ketchup. I feel completely ripped off.

Classic fat American people food🦅🇺🇸🦅🗣️. Solid burger, solid chips, solid milk shake. Would recommend Oreo and lotus mix. Staff were also pretty chill. Probably one of the best most and consistent burgers in Bath. You can also customise every bit of the burger which is a nice touch.

Do not order from here if you have Vegan/Veg requirements. Last night we ordered 2 Vegan burgers on UBER Eats, and 2 chicken burgers arrived. Innocent mistake perhaps? NO. We ordered again, 2 vegan burgers, and again 2 chicken burgers arrived. This is dreadful and disgusting. After waiting all evening for food that can't be eaten, you need to do better.

Such good quality burgers that I can rely on every time I visit Sometimes I have come over to Bath from Bristol just to indulge in a quality burgers from Schwartz

I was so excited to try these macaroons as I have an obsession with them. From previous reviews I was prepared for the expense and macaroons tend to be pricey anyways but I was disappointed with how dry they were. There were a variety of flavours and colours were beautiful but I was shocked with how dry and flavourless they were. I’ve had macaroons from many places and can say these are sadly the worst.

Some of the food was unacceptable

We had our works night out at Mokka last night for their Bottomless Supper, and it was absolutely fabulous! A huge thank you to Leigh, Mitch, and the whole team for hosting such a fantastic evening. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and the service was impeccable. Mokka isn’t just great for special occasions like this; it’s our go-to spot whether we’re in the mood for breakfast, a coffee, or drinks and food with friends. It’s a family-run business that truly cares about its customers, and we’re so lucky to have them on our doorstep. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Let’s all get behind amazing local businesses like this—they deserve it!
