Great little find for burgers.... Definitely worth a visit

We had our wedding reception at the Meadow Suite in Park House and it was great. Staff were lovely, always 3 of them on the bar, so little or no wait time, and the venue was fantastic. Very happy with it all. We didn't have any catering/food so can't comment on that.

By far one of the best burgers in Eastbourne and such nice staff, highly recommend and very filling, their chips are on point too, very crispy and fluffy

Really good food and an interesting mix of burgers and Mediterranean and Mexican. Great service and they play laurel and Hardy films (without the sound) on the screens.

Regret to say we did not have a good meal here. Was really looking forward to it, but it was a big let down. 2-4-1 Cocktails didn’t really taste like there was much booze in, passion fruit mojito was not enjoyable, bit too bitter, needed more sweetness, cherry on top was a bit like a milkshake, tasted just ok. I ordered ribeye which was the least tasty bit of ribeye I’ve had for a long time a lot of sinew, didn’t seem to have a fatty ‘eye’ either- was it even a ribeye? I dunno. The Mrs had fillet , admittedly asked for it cooked medium, which is mad in itself, but that’s her choice.. it came out rare.. not even medium rare. The lovely waitress was a bit shocked when she saw it and quickly had it sent back, it came back, medium rare, but sooo charred that it killed it that it just tasted burnt. The chips are just ok, you expect more from ‘triple cooked in beef dripping’. You have to pay a couple of quid for a sauce, the size of a MacDonald’s paper cup thingy. I poured my peppercorn sauce on my steak and it covered half of it. When sorting the fillet steak for recooking the waitress could tell I think I was a bit gobsmacked at how little you get and got me a second little cupful and when the fillet came back out we got given an extra portion of chips, but this didn’t really make up for how disappointed we were tbh. I never do reviews, but felt I had to after our meal here as I it’s bizarre so many have rated so highly it seems. For the same sort of price, the miller and Carter chain ( not sure there’s one in Portsmouth..) offers soo much more, a salad wedge with a choice of dressings, an onion loaf thing, little bit of side salad and a BIG pot of sauce all included…. Here you get a bit of steak and some chips. £2 for tiny bit of sauce…? Turn it in. Not nearly good enough. But lovely waiting staff. Would never go here again unfortunately.

No food on the day I visited but staff are friendly. Not many people in but its a nice clean big pub with a huge beer garden.

Delicious burgers! I personally like the graffiti interior decor but I can't stand those uncomfortable benches to sit on...but food deserves 5 stars so I can compromise with the uncomfortable benches for a decent burger!

My friend brought me a gift card for my birthday. I waited until Cherans started selling cake slices online for me to then use it. I had to chase them up for a code, which they did end up getting back to me. But despite the code working, it says you need to list an email, even though one has already been listed. I did try using another one to see if it was just my email, but it still said the same thing. I contacted them on Instagram on the 9th of September regarding this issue. They did respond but again, the issue was not resolved. I tried chasing them up again on the 11/09 and then 16/09 regarding this. I did also try to email - yet no response. I did try leaving a comment on their social media since they were posting and replying to comments, yet they deleted my comment and never got back to me. Disappointed as its the 1st of October today. I just feel ignored at this point.

These guys always deliver good food, and their selection is fairly impressive. I was pleased that they brought me the milkshake they forgot to deliver the other day. I thought that was a nice touch. My only complaint is the lack of sugar free soft drinks. Diet/Zero Coke or Pepsi Max would be great.

Came in for breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning. Welcoming staff and great service. Breakfast menu had lots of different and traditional choices. I had the 'fried chicken and karaage waffles' and it's the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Hubby had the 'little Britain' option and he was very happy too. Definitely coming back. Thank you for the best end to our stay in Brighton.

As you can see by my previous reviews, I am I seasoned traveler and always seeking that extra special dining experience, whether it be a road side street kitchen or well presented non chain restaurant. Passing through Rochester on work related business, I happened on this well presented establishment and its decor and that little bit of class I could sense enticed me in. I was not let down in the slightest. Had the pork.l belly starter and 1/2 lobster Thermidor... 1st class. Good value and bang on. I will always be enticed with food that is hard to replicate at home of complicated.. And this was just that ... There is a few 1 star reviews but see straight through these as picky customers and or busy day .. Well done all keep up the good work, atmosphere is great and staff especially Klodian and Reece were fantastic and attentive..
